    That patio turned out nice. Love the look of the flagstone and the retaining wall made of boulders is a nice touch. Great job guys!

      There's a bit of delay of when the job was done and when it ended up on UA-cam 😜

    Not bad. Gaps are a little big, but pretty decent. Looks like you got the job done pretty quick. What did that project cost?

    Really good job. Would have liked to see more of a longer video showing finished results instead of just a glimpse shot.

    I have enjoyed all your videos immensely. Learned a lot. Keep being professional, work hard and have some fun. Hire you guys in a heart beat. Wondering if flagstone holds up to salt application for winter or degrades?

      Natural stone can vary a lot, but this stuff is durable. I'd venture to guess it might even resist better than pavers

    would have been cool to see the flagstone go up flush to boulders by cutting out the flagstone to fit

    Awesome job. What type of sand did you use in between the flagstones and what kind for the base?

    • @Tusseylandscaping
      @Tusseylandscaping  5 місяців тому

      Generally we use polymeric dust or a resin based joint sand.

      Looks great, nice work. You mentioned “spread some nines”.. what did you use for the 1” leveling layer?

      It's a quarter inch washed limestone

    For laying flagstone over an old cement patio, which is now uneven, would you recommend laying gravel first or cement? Trying to figure out what to plan for to make my flagstone flush over the old patio. Thank you guys!

      Yes I would screed out an inch or two of 1/4-in clean stone. Or #9's

    Wow Nice job, How can I put my hands on some closed-ups photos of those transport holders on a chain for the flagstones I have 4 pallets of those to install in my back-yard and was wondering how to transport eatch pieces to position. Thanks

    what did you use in seams? is it just mortar or polymeric sand...?

    • @Tusseylandscaping
      @Tusseylandscaping  11 місяців тому +1

      We used gator dust which is polymeric sand for larger joints, it's an alliance product - we like wet lock or some kind of resin sand, for sure not mortar!

    What is thr use of the plastic sheet under the gravel?

    • @Tusseylandscaping
      @Tusseylandscaping  2 роки тому +1

      Separation fabric, to keep the stone base from going into the mud

      Most likely joint sand or some type of polymeric sand. You can mortar/concrete the joints in as well if you have more time on your project to spare.

      I believe this was Gator Dust. It's a poly product

      @@Tusseylandscaping I'd hire your crew in a heartbeat. Love the fun-loving attitudes and professional. I'm about to put in a small flagstone patio myself and I'm hoping I can maintain a sense of humor when temps reach over 100*
