Got a pretty good job done today: Re-laying some 30 year old pieces of slate for a dry laid slate patio for a customer of ours!

I think they did the best job they could for the price the guy wanted to pay that shits gunna sink again cause he’s probably too cheap to get proper base. Good job guys keep up the hard work. I love jumbo flagstone the bigger the better some sq ft per stone I hate dealing with small stones takes a lot of time and effort to make it look decent.

Hi, Thanks for the detailed video. What kind of sand is it at 15:38? Is it polymeric sand? If regular sand, will it not wash away soon? I am attempting to lay a flagstone patio and still deciding what should go between the flagstones.

I would reject the project. When it’s not done properly because of a cheap homeowner and it fails guess who looks bad? References are the best advertisement for your business.
