I just installed a flagstone patio, and I have a new respect for anyone who works with these slabs. My flagstone steppers are way more uneven, (Pensylania Steppers) and I was more fussy about the fit, so there was a lot of grinding and chipping, plus our patio included 6 steps. Otherwise this was fun to watch you do it and compare notes. I cannot believe you worked with those stones and cement without gloves or a mask (esp cement dust). Also, I invested in worker pants that have built in knee pads. Those things are awesome. Well worth the investment if you tend to do these kind of jobs that most people would hire someone to do.
Awesome job! I have a question, so after you lay the flagstone on the dry concrete, did you water it right after or did you just water it at the end after the polymeric sand?
Awesome and great to see the little guy so involved. Question. In the past I’ve had Firefighting friends who worked 24 on and 48 off. Is that where you get the time for all your projects?
last stage of the backyard transformation!

I admire your patience. I don't have the patience for a project like that. Looks really good!!!
Thanks buddy! It’s actually my slow down time. My personal meditation.
That is beautiful, now you need to put in a pond next to the patio!!!!!!!!!
Love your enthusiasm and creativity to come up with solutions when you're out of the recommended material. Great job!

Where do you get flagstone at such a great price?

Id give just about anything to be able to keep up 😢
Thanks my back is pretty bad as well. Yoga every morning to loosen up
The polymeric sand will last about 3-5 years and it is toxic polluting your soil.
