at the Moment I'm doing your car blender tutoria- It's awesome!! So far I was working always with edge loops to emphasize hard edges, but it's so time consuming and seems like a bit laborious to fix the growing amount topology, so here is my question: Is there a reason why car modellers rarely use the crease tool in combination with the auto smooth in blender?
Great to here, thank you! Crease tool doesn't give enough options in my opinion. Personally I tried it before but I was not satisfied. It is a bit of personal preference I guess :)

I don't use boolium (sorry if I pronounced wrong) even I don't know what it is.
But when ever I merge vertices in car models, then I face this type of problems sometimes, at the point of merge I see very weird type of shade or something which is definitely not look good. So, may be it can help in this problem because my merging problem and this boolium problem is little bit similar.

At 1:14 you said ctrl Minus from the numpud. On blender 3.1 it is Shift-Ctrl-NumpadMinus . I also was hitting the minus by the backspace button instead the correct minus on the far left upper corner of my keyboard. Thanks for the tutorial, it helped me and motivated me.
Help! There is no normals tab and no auto smooth😢
Unfortunately this tip is not working if both meshes have smooth shade, only if one of them is hard. Maybe you know how to fix this problem?
