Love the video again, Dirk! I hope one day we will see you at the 24-hour of Spa, standing on top of the car celebrating that you just won the overall race. One day, my friend.
This channel is incredible Thank you for posting these The POV is one of the most realistic feeling I've seen on youtube and the fact you do the best tracks in the world makes it even better
I'm curious. When I go karting usually I do time attack. And sometimes the lap I thought is fast is not the fastest. I mean I think it is fast because I am trying to attack every corner and my head is in heat. But when I do a lap with a cool head and a calm technical approach it turns out better. Do other drivers experience the same? Thanks for the video, Dirk! Love Porsche, love GT3, love those tracks... Keep it up!
"At this point the GoPro stopped recording." I honestly dont know how GoPro is still in business. It's more common to hear someone mention their GoPro dying more than it working. Anyway, as always, a VERY cool video to watch!! Thanks for sharing!!
Bro, I didn't know you but now I became a fan of yours in the Porsche Cup (because I've never seen a porsche cup until I started watch your videos) I hope you win many championships, you are a great talent ⭐️
Always enjoy your uploads!! Keep ‘em coming ! Also, although this is a GoPro , the cam box used in your last video was good enough for me !! This GoPro footage is very very crisp though 💪🏁🚌💨
Great track for spectators and fun sim racing. I got to enjoy the race there this year and the battle between Buus and Ten Voorde. Wish the Super Cup races were a bit longer than 18 laps.
I personally have never seen a pov where you have a mirror where we can see out the back window and/or side mirror. I really think this would be a game changer for us in these videos. Why don't you see what you can do?
Thank you. I really enjoy this track in sim and have been there in real life for F1. Great footage. Is there an upcoming race other than the GP of Austria?
The display is interesting and full of info, but from my "simracer" perspective, maybe the Racelogic VBox Timer is better because it has green and red leds 😁🟢🔴 Your POVs are always cool!
Excellent video. At minute 2:36 you get a little more of the kerb but you have more speed on corner exit to improve your time. Congratulations on the amazing content. Greetings from Brazil.
Hey there, Love the videos. Absolutely stunning to see how the POV is compared to just the camera views. Short question, sorry if it was asked so often already. Is there a reason why you "snap" the upshifting? When you downshift you just pull and thats it. Upshifting is like your fingers snap away from the lever (or how ever its called :D)
@@dirkschoutenracing thanks for the answer mate, really appreciate it. Okay, so its more like a personal thing, nothing like technical or sth like that. Keep up your work and stay safe out there!
Looking up at real footage to get better at this track in GT7. It is basically 1 to 1 recreation in game just edges on curbs has different color (green) instead of blue. It is insane how accurate track in a game is to a real thing.
So, question for you: Do you prefer the yoke style wheel or the flat bottom steering wheel with the larger paddles. I realize the tech is different, I’m just curious. Thanks for posting! One can never hear enough of the flat six roar and the sound of straight gears.
I like both, but I think the old school wheel is really awesome with the big paddles. Grips are quite the same. Also for drifting the round old wheel is better haha
@@dirkschoutenracing “The round, old wheel”, That comment makes me feel old for some reason. Haha Thanks for responding. I was wondering if there was preference for either given the differences. Be safe!
You know what would be sick? If you had another camera towards the back inside the car, and put that POV on the bottom right of the screen. A 360 camera would be the best so we could see more what's around you, like a fish eye that shows back and a bit on the sides.
Love the video again, Dirk! I hope one day we will see you at the 24-hour of Spa, standing on top of the car celebrating that you just won the overall race. One day, my friend.
Thanks mate! One day indeed, dreaming about it every day!
I agree!
Not sure how Rfactor2 compares to real life, but I run consistent low 1:31s on this track in the 911. No tune.
What a stunning Porsche! GT3s are awesome
What an great track, and I see you have passenger seat. What a ride that would be. Thanks for the awesome content
Thanks for watching!
the car's sound is pure adrenaline can't get over it
Those final corners are scary, bravo!
4:41 that's normally my exit on automobilista 2, but I keep it floored because it's not real life :) great laps Dirk
Hahah yeah the understeer was real, if I kept it flat I would end in the wall
The -.4 showing your realtime advantage is like having a ghost car in real life racing, amazing.
Yeah it’s so cool to have that live data
nice car licery. I hope we will very soon see the car on podium. Gute Fahrt! 😃
I can listen to it all-day ❤

I have the same thing. Sometimes it's better to just relax and drive with feeling. But the focus needs to be there. Thanks!
Funny you have the Nürburgring map on your wheel still 😄
Soft and fast... the best!!!
I love how he flicks the paddles. Man knows he’s got the finesse.
Love a good click
Always thanks for your vid! :)
High quality sound and view!!
Appreciate it!
The car sound like bmw M5 gtr🎶🎶🎶

Hello Dirk, have you ever played Assetto corsa competitzione? And if so, what do you think of it, is it a good simulation?
Eargasm❤
Love it
Thank you for another awesome video!! I noticed the Nordschleife track map. Have you ever raced there?
Thanks! The car has driven there, but not with me
This is my favorite on Gran Turismo 7
Like always excellent vidéo, i'm in and now, i know the track 😁 good run Dude ! Nice job Stay on course and see ya !

Why that car didn't get on the final gear? (Also good video, is the only onboard video that I found with the Porsche MR Cup)
The engine wasn't running properly, we missed a lot of horsepower
@@dirkschoutenracing Ohh ok

Thanks man! I just love the feeling of the click on the upshift. When upshifting I have the time to snap it. Not with downshifting that's why I think.

didn't realize the old model was still run
A driver was just testing with this car and I could drive a few laps in his car. Was very cool!
great onboard. quick question. why does the wheel have the nurburgring nordschliefe on it instead of Austria?
This car was mainly used on the Nurburgring, this car was used by another driver, who drives just for fun.
@@dirkschoutenracing ahhhh that makes sense. Thank you!
Best sounding cup car imo, better than the 992
Yess love the sound
Will you be racing this weekend?
No I won't be racing in the Porsche Supercup
What was the pole Lap time? (Because more often I see you in the front row.)
This was just testing, driving in a different car
@@dirkschoutenracing 👍
Are you driving in the support race for F1 in that car this weekend? Or was this just a chance to take out a different car?

Very nice! But your track map seems to be a bit off, mate! 🤣
Hahah yeah oops
you use different handlebars on different tracks. does it depend on the track itself or on something else?
If I am not mistaken you have raced at Palanga 1006km race, will you come back there?
My cousin Bas raced there, would love to go there as well
I'm a newbie to this, do you have different setups for different tracks, if so what are you allowed to change?
Yess we have different setups, mainly changes in camber, toe, wing, anti roll bars
also will there be a chance we see you in the PETN anytime soon?
PETN?

Could not click fast enough!
How many likes for a lap or 2 in the passenger seat haha? next time you come to Germany :P
Hahah could be a nice 100K subscriber giveaway;)
Does this drive differently than your car ??
Yess it does, because it has ABS and TC, next to that the engine was not running on full power. It's way easier to drive than the 992 Cup Car.
Can you be a Porsche pilot without karting expierence?
Is a sub 1.30 lap possible?
Maybe if the engine was working properly, the car missed a lot of speed
@@dirkschoutenracing oh ok. I have seen some gt3 onboards doing 1.28s
Who installed the satsuma engine💀
Seems you really know this track you were no more than 0.1+ each lap....
Seems like you need to contact GoPro and let them know their tech is shit. It stops recording suddenly in every single vedio of yours.
game graphics are out of control!
What an excellent run! Good job mate! Enjoyed the video. Looking forward to the next video
