Steven Wilson: I've sacrificed family for music
Вставка
- Опубліковано 4 лют 2025
- Since the age of 10, Steven Wilson has been making music. Whether as a solo artist or the driving force behind Porcupine Tree, creating sound is simply what he does. And, here, he admits that his dedication to art has come at the expense of having a family. In a very personal and revealing interview, Wilson explains his motivation and general outlook on the music industry.
Apparently This Matters is an interview series by Jarrett Bellini. The concept it simple: I have a case filled with postcards. On the back of each postcard, I write different topics. We pick these cards at random. And then we talk.

*3 years later*- A wife, two children, a dog, and an Tik Tok account are all a part of Steven Wilson's life. 2020 gets Stranger By the Minute...
Not his biological offsprings but still, i'm so happy for him
Decisions one makes.
At 53 now, he's where he feels he needs to be.
Good for him.
Nope. Tried to cheat on her a few months ago. Sneaky ass.
@@christinelee21 what how did you find this out?
Hi Reid. It’s my former best friend- that he tried to sleep with (she didn’t). Steve also knows my fave musician that got outed for sleeping with too many fans recently. I never wanted to be dragged into this shit but spoiled white famous guys are going to do what their entitled, lying selves have always done. You can believe me or not but it’s true. This guy is a pretentious a-hole.
"Ive sacrificed shoes for music"
Nailed it.
He doesn't always wear shoes, but when he does, he wears chuck taylors. (Never seen him wear anything else)
He should do a commercial for Converse, like the guy that does the alcohol commercials ''I don't always drink beer..but when I do''
barefoot walking is awesome .It feels natural, and fluffy carpets are heaven :p
Yep, I love walking barefoot.
hey man, you do what you gotta do to get by
I worked with Steven Wilson's father, Mike, an electronics engineer working on the latest mobile phone technology back in the 80s (who has sadly now passed away). I play and record myself and through the conversation I leaned his son did the same thing, playing and recording in his bedroom. The next day he introduced me to one aspect of Steven's music by passing me a cassette with some No Man material on it and I loved it, particularly 'Days In The Trees'. I've followed his progress ever since, right up to the present Hand Cannot erase.
Hell yeah man. Lovely story 😁
Love the story man ❤️
Steven is Lucky to have someone like you as a friend! Hugs from Brazil and thanks for share your story.
I love the thought of Steven sitting in a room with his mum and her friends and they're going "Ooh Stevie why aren't you on the X-Factor and The Voice, you have the talent!"
Made my day. :D
'Oh stop it Moooom!'
Surely you can't be putting Steven Wilson even in the same sentence as those non talent fake wannabe shows?.couldnt see Steve selling himself out
Of course not, that was the whole point. I take it you didn't actually listen to the interview, lol.
I thought that kind of shit comment was reserved for the mexican population, but then again, where do those shows come from?
I could listen to Steven talk for hours.
Same. In fact, I once literally did. I had a SW interview binge-watching marathon about a year ago.
He is a extraordinarily smart person and his answers prove it
I have just thought exactly the same
Hey DarkEco - you probably know, but he has a new podcast!
He's so aware, so genuine. Wonderful to hear knowledgeable people address their area of expertise.
Great job , Steven Wilson is certainly one of the most thoughtful , intelligent and interesting artists of this time period.
Cheers, Kurt!
he is much, much more than you imply
What is stuck in my ears - I thought that it's quite delusional thing - that if you're married than you haven't time for music. Usually, marriage helps to be more creative and happy which is pushes your ability to do something a lot.
I just mean that one shouldn't sacrifice something, Steven wasn't sacrificed family bc he didn't want to have it really. It's just a thought mostly for young people who may think that marriage will ruin their musicianship, but they shouldn't decide this question relying on music ambitions, only on their real needs.
I had a wife-musician and we practiced together and we still playing in one band as best friends, and marriage like this is the best thing possible.
I think, Steven could regret this decision with ages. Nonono, I don't say everybody should get married - it's something purely individual, I mean, I think it's possible. Maybe not, Also I know ones who feel ok)
Yeah but neither you nor your wife are world class musicians, now are you? He didn't say that if you're married you don't have enough time for music. What he said is that he sacrificed one ultimate thing (family) to reach another ultimate thing (musicianship). Also from what you're saying I feel that you're one of those few examples, where marriage hasn't ruined relationships and everything around it. So in short, I feel happy for you, just know, that what you have is quite rare, and so saying marriage is the best thing possible... for many it is not.
Zilvinas Predkus we are beginner musicians and we're working in such niche that is totally not about fame or something. I don't know couples who are unhappy with their relationships btw. Also, it all with sacrificing would be reasonable in case of statistics proving this point. But it's not. A half of greatest musicians (or even more) are married or/and have children and they're happy. Also, the majority of most popular youtube musicians are married: Rick Beato, Scott Devine. Tyler from Music Is Win, etc...
I mean, nowdays marriage isn't built on traditions and forcing, so it means it doesn't affects the quality of relationships. More, it makes it deeper and warmer.
And what is triggers me the most: this delusional view of marriage is mainstream now. And that song of Blackfield which sarcasticly says that family man is something shameful and bad. Is it ok?
Again, i don't say that to be single is something bad, but they're saying that to be married is bad! Truth is: one should find a couple that will supportive and loving. And then it helps you to improve your musicianship. Otherwise you spend too much time and nerves on many occasional relationships which are never go any further.
One of the best Steven Wilson interviews I have seen. Great job!
Many thanks for watching!
Totally agree ;-)
Agree, great to watch. Not so sure about why he can't have a family later. He's a man, he only needs to chuck his sperm in to someone. Enough money to support kids. Would be a waste of his genes!
I dunno about these "old" fathers who die before their children even finish a college :-) In my country, there was this architect (Jan Kaplicky), who thought being 70 years old is not a problem to have a kid and oops, he died the same day his daughter was born. Sad, is not it? So yes, as long as Steven is happy, I see no problem.
Katerina Konecna It is sad, but kinda poetic too I think.
Getting married and having kids solely because you think you have to is absolutely the wrong thing to do.
Who says you can't be a musician and have a family at the same time?
Nobody did?
Chuixupu Having a family is a great thing. I feel like this generation (my generation) is making it seem 'cool' or whatever.
Of course it is - but it's not for everyone. The point is, you have a family because you want to have a family, not because people tell you that you should or that something is wrong with you if you don't. The vast majority of people get married and have kids. No need to worry that it might suddenly be "uncool". More importantly, what an individual chooses for themselves is nobody's business but their own.
Chuixupu Of course. It's all down to choice but unfortunately some people are pressured by family and this makes them toxic towards their kids that they didn't plan and to a husband/wife they don't really love deeply.
Really appreciate all the kind words about this interview. This series is a true labor of love, and getting to share my conversations with people like Steven Wilson is what keeps me up editing late at night. More music and more comedians and more everything to come! Thanks for watching. Thanks for subscribing. Thanks for sharing. You all get gold stars!
thank YOU! :)
Great interview! You really got him to talk about some interesting things. Thanks!
And "Animals" is the best.
Did the track about the dead sister effect your decision .
Jarrett Bellini
Thank you
I personally think Steven is one of the most innovative, and thoroughly "aware" artists out there. and i love his personality!
Nice thumbnail
Thank you mate!
Try listening to Dave Wyndorf (Monster Magnet) too. Both Steven and Dave are big Hawkwind fans.
when I saw the video title I imagined Wilson's family tied and crying while he holds a knife.
Ha!
Made my night! :))
me after knowing Steven got married to someone,
"Steven Wilson: I've sacrificed music for family" 😅
Hahahha I watched this interview after knowing the guy as that wholesome family guy from Instagram and I was like 🤯🤯
@@usurum4898 yeh bro. prog snobs should let steven do what he wants to do. he gave everything for music, now hes 53 dang bro he should be able to cover taylor swift and play with his daughters
@Dale Springhetti its never too late m8
@Dale Springhetti i found them 3 years ago... You're gonna love them... You'll regret why did you not find them earlier but at the same time you'll feel thankful that at least you've found a gem... Happy journey
Steven Wilson is the pinnacle of music evolution. On production side and writing side. I could listen to his talk for hours. He sits on such music knowledge and his intellect into the subject is on point. I listen to so much different kind of music, but Wilson just is there speaking about how the music world speaks. I listen to him in every aspect on how things sits today. I need Steven Wilson in my life every now and then. He seems to re-direct me musically on listening and absorbing music. He is a legend.
such a grounded guy always worth a listen!
Just the best profile pic ever! :)
Great interview. Steven Wilson is such an interesting man! That's why I like his music so much :)
Glad you enjoyed it!
Dtf?
viry..marry me
ADITYA CHOUKSEY the hell is wrong with you bro
i literally replayed the part with Tool
Steven knows the trend :)
I wonder if he likes tool though.. cause PT is my favourite band but damn Tool is amazing too
its a slightly different sound i guess but im pretty sure he would be interested
like lyrically PT are different but still tool are mega inventive with their sound and very distinct and i guess that what he kinda like if judging by other interviews ive seen
Please people stop saying that now he's married. He didn't have a family for so many years, just to make music. Now that he does, doesn't mean all those years just vanished. Those years he gave to music are still there. And he deserves a beautiful family like he has now
Finally a good comment about this topic
Wow man , incredible interview .
I've never seen Steven talk so freely about the music industry, his life and his origins!
Fantastic job!
OMG, probably the best interview I saw in my life. When someone says that want to do a "cool interview" with some rockstar, THIS is what they should pursuit for. Awesome content man! Congrats
I'm profoundly grateful for Steven Wilson's sacrifice for his music. He has given so much to the world of surround music. His own albums, projects and remixes of other bands. Thank you, Mr. Wilson!
Wow, so I'm not the only one; my friends always ask me "why haven't you married and have kids" and I always tell them "because I am married to my music, and each song I create is my child." They look at me like I'm crazy... great interview of one of my favorite artists! Subscribed!
I'm stunned to hear that Dark Side isn't one of his favorites. I never heard of Steven Wilson till a few years ago and discovered him on UA-cam after doing a search for Progressive Rock.
I'm 62 and have maybe less than ten albums that I consider my all time favorites and Steven's 'Hand Cannot Erase' is one of those. His joins albums like Dark Side, Allman Brothers at East Filmore and a hand full of others for me. When you have an album you enjoy like these, it's ridiculously inexpensive...as if they're paying you as you get so much enjoyment from them over and over again. Thank you Steven for your hard work and your creativity
I love this man with a passion, relate to him on so many levels
Great great interview!! I'm so jealous here.. it must have been such an honor to be with Steven in the same room.. Keep it up guys!
It was an honor. Thanks for watching!
He is so British.
Lucas Campos awwwww
Luminol cover
and a fekkin genius too.First discovered him and the band in the 80's , at the time I didn't like a great deal of their output, but you could FEEL the potential even then.
Yes so bri ish
Just like everyone else from Britain...
Revisiting this interview after seeing SW's instagram post that he got married and starting a beautiful family- the Wilsons.
Right? Me too just revisiting, I was actually shocked to know he didn't have one. I always wanted him to have a family, he seemed like a family man to me. To be fair, he did sacrifice his family for the better part of his life. He deserves a family.
I WANT MORE.
Have to watch the OTHER interviews. :)
It is so awesome to get to see the perspective Steven Wilson has on music, the industry and life. Personally for me, Steven Wilson's music made me actually think "Oh man, what chord was that? What progression what that?" Few artists can impact you in such ways. Thanks a lot for this interview.
Love this... I have to agree with everyone... this is probably the best SW interview out there. Kudos.
Thanks, Darin!
One of the best interviews. I could listen to Steven talk for hours. This guy is so intelligent! True artist. And very under appreciated at that.
Who's here after finding out that Steven got married ? XD
Loubna El Hassouni me
The Raven that didn't refuse :(
Steven, when I need to take a mental/spiritual trip, I throw in Raven, or Drive Home or just about any other Steven Wilson or Porcupine Tree album/song, and get lost in a different universe. Quite incredible pieces of art my friend. Thanks for making such a huge impact on my life through your art. There are still those of us who deeply appreciate and *experience music in a special light.
This was a fantastic interview. Congrats on this.
Thanks, Michael!
How gracious he is to give a real thoughtful interview.
I think this is the best interview of Steven Wilson I've seen. I want a part 2 please!
Is there a part 2 ???
More footage. But no part 2 in the works. Yet. ;-)
We love you Steven.
And your fans love the fact that you're born in this era.
We have no one else to look up to. Keep inspiring us.
At the time I met Steven´s music (ten years ago?) you couldn´t find here in Argentina any cds of him. At all. So I met his music and he became a huge influence of me because of mp3s. And he was even able to come to Buenos Aires because of this digital era.
I´m happy to see that he finally understood some of this concepts (as he changed his view about streaming, for example). I just wonder if the complaints you and Steven make are just the same every generations but in different shape (concepts like music and entertainment, people experiencing music other than just listening to it, the experience of a concert and so on). Not sure if society listening to music has gotten worse. It´s just different. Yeah, even the mobile screens in a show.
I've only heard of Steven Wilson via Opeth many years ago but this interview has made me want to check out his music. I appreciate how he was critical of modern music industry and entertainment without coming across as condescending or pretentious. And that he understands the practical consequences of his points of view with regard to his music and how others perceive him. Wilson seems like the kind of guy who understands nuance and I respect that.
One reason its difficult for Steven to attend other folk's concerts is quite simple, he's a lot better than about 95% of them, musically, intellectually . Steven isn't just a songwriter, he's a composer.
I saw Steven in Turin on June 26th. It was f'ing amazing! I didn't take too many pictures or video because I was too busy enjoying the rapturous moment. I'll never forget it.
Great interview!
A rather intimate interview I'd say,. Thanks!
Amazing one. Before clicking, I thought I will see only few parts but my mind changed and I am now wanting to share it all over.
"You won't hear my music in movies."
> Raven That Refused to Sing was in the trailer for Pompeii.
AtrocityEquine Shallow was playing in the background in a bar scene in Good Will Hunting.
Matty Mo I don't think that's possible. If I recall, GWH was in the 90s while Shallow was in 2005.
AtrocityEquine you're right. it was Four Brothers, not GWH.
Matty Mo I approve :DDDD
WAT
Now that was a great interview. We too rarely get to hear what Steven Wilson thinks. ...regarding waiting for the next album, for me I only do that for Steven and his various projects. Great job Jarrett landing this one.
As the plethora of poor parents has proven, not everyone is cut out to have a family. At least this guy is doing something with his life. Pretty original musical talent.
Just the sort of thoughtful, intelligent, down-to-earth, honest interview you'd expect from this guy. Stimulating without being exhausting. SW is the kind of guy I'd enjoy having a beer with.
Thanks for keeping it real with CDs and vinyls. CDs are sonically superior, among other things because you don't have a stylus scratch. At the same time, I agree that the vinyl experience is emotionally superior.
"Every decision we make is a compromise and a sacrifice"...Steven Wilson produces some of the most beautiful music in existence, and it always feels like he's just getting started.
Brilliant interview with a very talented guy who is so down to earth and genuine.
I love this man, he's so smart! Jeez he deserve everything!
This has to be one of the most in-depth and personal interviews I've ever heard from SW - very insightful and rewarding to have come across it. And for a man who will be turning 50 years old this year, I can't help but theorize that his being so passionate about music coupled with the fact that he chose to maintain the bachelor lifestyle is what keeps him looking like he's in his late 30s - it might also be the fact that he isn't into drugs (maybe some grass here and there?) and is also a vegetarian. Nevertheless, Mr. Wilson is my spirit animal.
Well Opeth is a big release for me every time, also the Steven of course and Devin Townsend. Karnivool & Gojira also got into the pre-order list. They're just too amazing.
Most honest musician I have ever come across with such an elite taste.
Brilliant interview!! Thank you
Thank YOU
He says he's never on the radio or mainstream places but I was in Chilli's eating one time and his track "the sound of muzak" was playing on their speakers, it was magical
Dude got married. The end!
:'(
this is one of the best interviews i've ever seen. thanks so much for sharing this.
he is as old as my father. But he looks younger somehow XD
Reza Adrian music keeps ya young!
Kids age you
bc he doesnt have kids
He's a vegetarian. You age better without meat. Kids keep you young as well (if you're an invested parent).
Well, I'm glad there's streaming, otherwise I'd never even heard of Porcupine Tree or Steven Wilson. So glad that I did. To me, roaming UA-cam and Spotify is like listening to radio in the 80ies, casetterecorder ready to tape whatever was new and exciting. I still remember hearing "Trains" for the first time or saw the performance with Ninet Tayeb. And this time uninterupted by a DJ who loved the sound of his own voice so much, he kept talking through the intro!
Steven Wilson and Mariusz Duda are the greatest musicians around
Steven Wilson is literally my favorite artist, is music and his philosophy. He is the artist that I'm waiting for every release. Great interview!
He looks great for his age.
Nice job on the interview with SW...keep up the great work and best wishes for continued success!
But we need a little Steve Wilson to succeed you once you're gone mayte.
You made the right choice, Steven. We need your music way more than your family.
Lol,now he has done just opposite of what he says here haha...He has got married ! Well congrats to the legendary musician on that !!!
thinking and living outside of the box, not being pigeon-holed or just a statistic.
Wherever Steven Wilson is and whatever he creates, puts his hands too or breaths on is special. The hardest working man in music - a genius, a gifted human and someone that makes my life better.
I wanna see Steven inducted to the rock and roll hall of fame
I’d imagine Steven would be a pretty hard person to interview in some ways. I love how you let him talk, didn’t interrupt him, let him speak his mind, you didn’t “fanboy” the whole time and I really love that you only really prompted him to move from one point to the next. Such a good interview. Very well done, sir.
Nice to see that he finally found his "love of his life," and decided to tie the knot, complete with inheriting two kids.
I've met Wilson, and he is every bit as nice as he comes across in videos. I'm happy to see that he is happily married now, as shocking as it may be to those of us who are long time fans. ;-)
The art and the entertainment, yes I have spent most of my life creating music I have never shared with anybody. Many times when I have been playing in public, someone would come up to me later and ask " What was the name of that piece you were playing"? I would respond "I don't know, it was what I was feeling at the time". The next response would be "Really! You should write that down and record it. That is the art of it for me. Very selfish and most of the time I do it in private for my own enjoyment, and go on to forget it till maybe years later. I ask myself the question sometimes "Why have I not wrote my pieces or at least make a dub copy for someone to find one day, and I don't have a answer to that question. I find myself doing all of this most of the time, especially with my epic scores. Thanks for sharing Steven, I don't feel so different now with my selfishness of my art. I do like the affirmation when I do share some of my work. Peace guys! I guess to confirm all I said, when this posts it will show under my life long partners name, so I am giving him the credit; lol. Thanks guys DrewC
Did he just say 'I am happy with my life'!!
Time2Scape it's very rare nowadays. Most people just focus on "I want I want I want"
He has the luxury of being able to do exactly what he wants to do exactly how he wants to do it. Most people would agree with that as a valid definition of happiness.
Yeah but you have to admit that that sentence being uttered by a man famous for his overly melancholy songwriting and fondness for sad music in general is a bit ironic
Indeed, though he's often been quoted as saying that people expect him to be perpetually sad, when he's mostly a happy guy; he realizes it seems like a disconnect. I've also heard him say that it's BECAUSE his music is often sad that he isn't; it's like he's exorcised his sadness via music.
Hahaha, my exact reaction!
He is right on with his comments about CDs and Vinyl. His CDs are mastered so dynamically and they sound excellent.
Part of me really wanted this to be a a 14 minute confession from Steven about how he sacrificed his family to the demonic Music gods.
Steven Wilson being the voice I will never have and saying the best way to listen to music is the whole album all the way through from beginning to end. I never understood playlists.
This guy is almost 50? Get out of here.
IKR, i sure wish i look as young as he does when I'm that age
89Pleasek he doesn't have a family so no wonder why
Damn, that's pretty amazing. Then again, he doesn't strike me as the type of guy who eats shit all the time, watches TV all day, gets wasted every weekend, etc. Probably takes good care of himself.
89Pleasek He pretty much stopped aging around 2002...pretty sure he's a vampire 😛
Well he is British, so possibly drinks a lot of Earl Grey.
Fantastic interview. It's so good to hear Steve speak so openly and honestly about things that reflect how I and many others feel too. He don't mince his words, that's for sure.
Thank you drunken Reddit search, and SW for a great interview.
Ahhh.... drunken Reddit is the best Reddit.
Steve Wilson says in this interview things I've been saying over and over again for years about the music industry. He's totally right.
Watch the first minutes of this interview sounds ironic because he married and he has a family right now xD.. However he still doing the best music I've ever heard in my life.
Animals is also my fav Floyd album. I don't care about which album is better technically, Animals just has a misterious magic and takes me on an inner trip in a way that no other album does. 100% agree with the interviewer!
And now he's got married! Go figure!
This just popped up as a recommended video today, and I'm glad I stopped by! Good stuff, mate.
We all have that weird "void" inside us.
Some people are filling it with love and relationships.
Some other people are filling it with art/music and creativity.
I guess ... That's why I NEVER feel attracted to "love" and human contact when I create some deep music shit.
Occam's Razor would suggest otherwise. I mean _'The Woman with No Head'_ - need I say more?! ;)
No, not everyone have that void. Some people are full and enough.
A friend of mine took me to a SW show not too long ago. I had'nt heard any of his music before hand and had no idea what I was in for. I can honestly say it changed the way I look at music. It was an extraordinary experience. Almost a huge orchestral piece broken into seperate movements. It blew me away sonicly alone. Then there is the visual factor that is not overly stimulating unless the moment calls for it. There is a reason some of the best musicians in the world team up with Steven. A fantastic musician and writer that should be mort famous. Most wouldn't appreciate it however, I think. Eh, different strokes.
"I sacrificed my family for music" well well well, look how the tables have turned
He can still sacrifice them... 😉
He raised a proper family
So he could tie them a bed
THANK YOU SO MUCH for this interview. Currently taking a class at Berklee about this, and this interview, and the questions you asked Steven were beyond serendipitous and extremely insightful!
Why didn't you ask and he didn't answer the biggest question? "What happened to Porcupine Tree? Will we ever see it again?" Breaks my heart every time I get a thought of Porcupine Tree disbanding.
Sorry for the shameless plug, but it's answered here: www.thehindu.com/entertainment/music/We-are-all-in-it-together/article16729642.ece
forgiven for the shamelessness and the the plug is readily and gracefully accepted. it breaks my heart to know that he wants to move on without realising he is what he is because of PT and PT was his brainchild. he should rather put his other projects on hold or on the side and focus on PT and his solo career. I respect him as an individual, as a musician and he has the right to make his own choices, but there are far many bigger things than his own personal decisions, most importantly the fans and their anticipation of PT. i attended the pune gig and it was fantastic. i knew all the 5 PT songs but i was only properly aware of a couple or 3 songs from his solo project. i wish to see at least gavin harrison back on his solo project if PT isn't ever going to reunite.
Yeah! Maybe we'll just have to settle for Gavin coming to India for his own version of PT songs haha
Steven has answered the "Porcupine Tree" question many times already. Why ask that again?
Look, he is a truly independent and autonomous artist. A rare species theese days. He always tries to find the perfect ways to express himself, his thouhts and feelings about things he's interested in. He's not an entertainer who do what audience expect from him and whose main goal is commercial success. PT was as much his own project as SW band. All the PT songs were his own brainchildren. SW Band is nothing else but a new part, a new era in his life as an artist. Consider PT as a part of his past.
There's gotta be more to this! Damn fine interview...very, very "important" and "aware", too. Always loved this mentality.
14.09.2019.
Outdated interview ;)
I agree with a previous "commenter." probably the best Steven Wilson interview I have heard. Loved it.
Does he ever wear shoes?
He's got slippers somewhere down there...
He has a weird thing against shoes. Talked about how he would come out of concerts with bloody feet and be like "still ain't wearing em."
I see him with shoes while not on stage fairly often (always Converse). He actually brings his own carpet with him to put down on the stage and has the crew make sure to vacuum it for him every night before the show to make sure he doesn't step on shit anymore. Clearly became more of a thing post mid 90's though because whenever I look at the early PT shows around '94-'96, he's always wearing shoes.
Apparently he once stepped on a used syringe needle. I'd be a bit traumatized after that.
Chuixupu being very familiar with needles and syringes (type 1 diabetes for 20+ years) this comment gives me the heebie jeebies like you wouldn't believe.
yeah, accidentally standing on a needle would be traumatic. reading it made me feel it going into my skin.
Steven Wilson albums and projects are still an event to look forward to
Am I the only person who thinks Steven Wilson is one of the most brilliant people of our time?
Number Space no
Such a relaxed, honest conversation. He’s on my ‘people you’d invite to a dinner party’ list
Has he found life's elixir? Who would tell he is in his late forties?
God damn, i'd think he's in his 30's
Go vegetarian like Steve, dont smoke or drink, like Steve, and work out. Simple as that.
Great interview
2 years gone since the interview was done, Tool hasn't released an album yet.
ha
Stumbled upon your site by accident after seeing it was an interview with Steven Wilson so I subscribed. Great interview, by the way.
Thanks Steven !! However the gene pool could do with your genius !!!
Not really. Look at most celebrities and talented artists' children. Mostly talent free spoiled brats.
