I want to know more about you gordo. who are you? what is your background? where does your money come from? What are the most important skills that you've learned and which do you use most often?
I’m an amateur writer and one of my stories features a bus modified to function as a mobile base in the apocalypse. I’d just like you to know you have provided me with a massive amount of inspiration for it (though mine’s based on the Prevost H5-60). Awesome build.
You are a friggin genius bro! I like the exterior grid thingys that you could hang stuff on instead of fishing through a box. Wow, the whole thing is amazing!
Reading comments is fine, you may find some actual good suggestions. But dont let the negative comments waste your time at all bro.. what you have built here is absolutely amazing! Great job!
Hey Gordo. I loved your first build but this is just outstanding. To me, you have probably the best rig out there. You really have thought about everything and every inch. Well done Gordo. I am of course looking forward to seeing your updates down the road.....until then.... Stay healthy and inspired.
I'm painting your parents house right now. I wish I could've talked to you about the bus, and who you are before you left on Monday. I have a 7.3l Powerstroke, all tuned up. The dt466e is legendary to people like me.
Those are some incredible improvements, but I still see two major improvements to be made: Easily accessible fire extinguishers and easily accessible first aid kit(s). A HAM radio wouldn't be out of place either, but I don't know that that would be a significant improvement.
Actually, there was a clip while he was driving, he had a Baofeng UHF/VHF handheld HAM radio in his hand. Granted it might not do HF frequencies, but a lot hams are usually on U/VHF anyway.
Reckon you might not see this comment but I watched this and the first vid; you’re a true creator, a true engineer. What you did is just effing awesome man. In that first vid where you kinda broke out your shop, I couldn’t help but think what my dad would have thought if I was able to watch it with him. Man, keep doing you.
End of the world = bio diesel, or ethanol if it's gas, just have to make sure the lines are compatible I think . Being organized is not O.C.D. , having to tap the freaking door 15 times before you open it is O.C.D. . People trivialize it by saying any one who is competent has O.C.D. . People are just a bunch of jealous, disorganized, slobs, stop it lol. Your bus is awesome !
He said in a previous video that it's all diesel, though he said in this one that he's burning windshield washer fluid (I'm guessing he's getting the de-icer stuff that is pretty much pure alcohol), that might have changed. Also needs a means to turn random organic matter into biodiesel.
You are an exemplary problem solver, Gordo! Ignoring that nasty little voice that whispers “You can’t do that” or “You’ll never succeed!” along with ignoring all the naysayers is the first step in problem solving in my experience. “Know the rules before you break them!” Is probably the second. Despite being colorblind and having dyslexia, I have a degree in electronics, ran a color darkroom in college, and spent several years writing copy for radio & TV. Still in the planning stages of a bus build, and fully intend to incorporate some of your awesome design features. Thanks for the inspiration and stay safe on the road.
Wow I'm so impressed with him. He used the word improvisational, and I see him as an improv artisan!! An amazing talent, and so glad to get this update. He impressed the h___ out of me the first time, and has blown me away again. Thanks. 😊👏🏼
Thank you for not spelling out the entire four letter word of h___. It definitely helps improve society and protect our children. I wish more people would use or refer to swear words but replace some of their characters with underscores so as to invoke their meaning but mask their letters. That’s what really matters. Every time I see those double hockey sticks typed out, I know another child’s innocent future will be lost if they stumble across them. One thing for certain, Gordo wouldn’t be the talented creative he is today if he would have seen or heard any swear words in his life. Keep fighting the fight my friend. I believe in you!
There are so many amazing things about this build, and I don't want to seem like I'm ignoring them, but at the 9m47s mark when you show your 'this isn't anything fancy' 'just the basics' toolbox, I was geeking out so hard. Sooooo pretty. Wera, Knipex, and did I spot Mitutoyo? We have the same taste in tools, though I am forced to admit your storage system is nicer than mine by far.
Love all the updates. Thanks for the tip on single zone fridge being the better one. I was thinking of two single zones to have one fridge and one freezer.
Hello! Fellow upstate NY’er here! Love the build!! It’s awesome! Great job answering all the questions! You definitely are creative! I’m looking forward to finding more of your videos and build details as I begin my quest. I’m nowhere as brilliant as you so my build will take long and be more basic for sure! There will be no code writing from this old man lol. Thanks for sharing!!
Like everything, it's social media, why not? Ok. Simple enough. Done. Gordo been busy with some cool upgrades. We're going to need tours on the regular on this one to see what he keeps improving.Great work, Justin!
I've been thinking of the right vehicle to build a nomad shop house. It always comes back down to a bus. I really do like. Although the electrical interface stuff is beyond me. Great job
Nice Custom RV philosophy and beautiful rig. The wifey and I will be owners to our own custom tailored RV one day, maybe soon. We are doing as much research until then.
Putting on a show? Is my man on the production crew??? He reminds me so much of my friend that owns his own production company that I used to volunteer at. Loved doing all that stuff, it is a ton of work but satisfying work
I have a bit of a fantasy, imagine an alternative realty where the circus was this a thing. And I mean the real circus, traveling show, big top, the whole thing. now imagine this bus in that convoy. You're the tinkerer's rig. I'd imagine the show you'd put on from that would be electrical, with tesla coils and stuff
What a beautifully done ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxYGamVaHfdHiPlAQaLa7zkwR02OKpGYDU ! The instructions and the photographs are brilliant. It is thorough and genuinely informative. Ryan got another winner! No one does it better!
Funny how people commenting you should have this you should have that! First of all, this guy is a genius(!), second of all, he build this for he’s own personal use and preference, not for everyone else🤦🏻♂️
I like every aspect of this build especially all the stuff hanging on the racks instead of in draws or boxes. I think the extra canopy over the 'tent' on the back deck is great. OCD, nah just enthusiastic. Rust on the surface, adds to the charm., etc etc. After seeing this, I'm moving into my garage with my van and hanging all my shit on the walls....hang on , I practically live there now😃
We’re all the same, just a bunch of nerds 🫶
Holy Smokes! So true 🥰
"Like everything, always... it's social media". Loved that! 🙏🏼
Just like everyone else…. Only more so. :)
I want to know more about you gordo. who are you? what is your background? where does your money come from? What are the most important skills that you've learned and which do you use most often?
Holy smokes my guy. Love the build!
"My EDC toolbox, nothing special" Bro's got a whole collection of Knipex, Wera and NWS tools.
Bro THOSE are SPECIAL 😂
I know wtf haha
AND it’s in a pelican tool chest. £1300 right there
He built a bus around his tools. Compared to that, knipex is just regular😁It's a matter of perspective.
Greetings from Oregon... I like the noise the fan makes as well
He was 100% being sarcastic about how plain the toolbox was(n't).

I'd love to read your works!
@@zoro-i8u Me too!
Me too!
It Just needs riot van Window protection
Oh, look. Another apocalypse story. How inspiring. 🙄
incredible. this bus is the manifestation of his skills and creativity. and it is a platform for more projects.
The GOOD thing is, he's got everything he needs on-board to repair and/or alter the things he needs to on the bus.
The ingenuity of this build is unparalleled. Props to Gordo for thinking outside the box
This man has some serious talent. The vision all the way through to execution is phenomenal
PLEASE GET HIM TO UPLOAD I LOVE THIS GUY
Okay I'll try haha.
yesssss!!!!!
You are a friggin genius bro! I like the exterior grid thingys that you could hang stuff on instead of fishing through a box. Wow, the whole thing is amazing!
bro, your bus is cool. No comments can take that away from you. You should be proud.
Reading comments is fine, you may find some actual good suggestions. But dont let the negative comments waste your time at all bro.. what you have built here is absolutely amazing! Great job!
I love the bus it’s highly modified and I can see quality workmanship throughout the build.
You say comments are the enemy. Well I'm a comment and I'm a friend. Awesome work and I love your bus / spaceship.
Just rewatched the first Bus Tour video and found this one, so happy. You got an amazing Project keep it going!
Live the life you are supposed to live. Not the one everyone expects. Good on you for making your dreams come true.
From one Gordo to another, salute. You have a good attitude and a badass rig... I especially appreciate the inner workings being lit behind glass.
video 1: "I built this hatch" (no further explanation)
video 2: "...this hatch that I built"
I love hatch.
Yes!!! I LOVE HATCH!
lol
@@MobileDwellingsThat’s what she said…
Dude, this is how cool your skills are and the execution of them: I don’t want to just know you, I want to be you!
Gordo is my hero! Love his approach and outlook on life!
This is by far the coolest bus I’ve ever seen
Hey Gordo. I loved your first build but this is just outstanding. To me, you have probably the best rig out there. You really have thought about everything and every inch. Well done Gordo. the bit of wisdom about the mindset of the people who make things like this was legitamatly one of the most inspiring things that I have ever herd.
by far the best rig on the internet! You sir are an inspiration
Those are some incredible improvements, but I still see two major improvements to be made: Easily accessible fire extinguishers and easily accessible first aid kit(s).
A HAM radio wouldn't be out of place either, but I don't know that that would be a significant improvement.
*I bet before you even reviewed your comment, an automatic fire suppression system is being drafted*
Actually, there was a clip while he was driving, he had a Baofeng UHF/VHF handheld HAM radio in his hand. Granted it might not do HF frequencies, but a lot hams are usually on U/VHF anyway.
Dude. This guy is an insanely talented builder. Love the attention to detail.
Glad that you're back! You sir, are a legend!

amazingly well built rig. Very complete and somehow very minimalist too.

Hands down the coolest rig I have ever seen.
gored you have a good brain. this bus is very pleasing.
Great build. Very talented.
this is absolutely one of the sickest build i've ever seen, so much in my style
like life goal, i realy love it

I love this bus, gives you the freedom to do anything you want, where you want, whenever you want❤❤❤
yooooo, this is the coolest rig i've seen and it inspired me so much, I'm glad there is a new video that came out about this rig.
It inspired me too so I had to get you guys a follow up!

The amount of want....... that bus is awesome.
This is an amazing look inside a brilliant mind. And, incredibly handsome too.
I first thought this was a DJ bus. Great project.
I really like the build. I don't usually see that much planning. Awesome job.

thanks for showing and explaining the build
Really impressive. And such a cool dude.
Absolutely amazing!
Man this bus is so epic and I love every bit of it.
Very nice rig. Basically a jack of all trades.
Cool bus but show us how you make the shop and how it looks like
So just a thought, if you ever run out of diesel, you can use citrus waste to make your own alternative. Used it to help a farm run their equipment.
Enemy commenters are just jealous of your awesome rig:)
Enemy Commenters will never TAKE OUR FREEDOM!
Dude your bus is amazing!
This definitely needs an electric conversion, with a very large automatically deploying ~7kw solar array when parked
Awesome rig . Have you ever thought of ugrading to military axels it may give you enough lift to not move the generator ,but not less work lol .

as long as that new society to rebuild isnt at the top of a hill. that rig is a speedbump away from being stuck
