  • Ismael Cruz Córdova is a fighter. He grew up in Puerto Rico and came to New York with all of his belongings in two laundry bags. The actor traveled around the world and was told “no” three times before ultimately getting cast in ‘The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power.’

    Everyone should see this interview. What a positive, intelligent, beautiful and driven man. It shows that you can do anything if you put your mind to it and are willing to work hard. What a journey.

    He was excellent on sci-fi horror "Settlers" [2021] with Johnny Lee Miller and Sofia Boutella, where he plays the bad guy, jhchrist, he is hot.
    He is great in Berlin Station, and Ray Donovan.

      This man works 10x harder than most people. You watched this interview of a boy who started in dire poverty, worked to become a skilled athlete to get a scholarship to school, then bested that school even though he probably didnt have the best education nor spoke the language natively. And got into NYU? And you decided he got a handout?? Shameful. Where would you be with those circumstances.

      it’s not his fault the showrunners can’t write sthg decent. he is actually one of the best performances in that show.

      @@monicad99 I was just thinking this. He feels more like an elf than most of them...he actually acts like he is thousands of years old. "Elven memories do not fade."
