Agree 1000%. In particular the 73... That size is a really good compromise of range and portability, plus they already make the Numa X Piano in a 73, so why not this model too?
I don't think there is a standard for key length, but it's easy to agree longer keys tend to play more evenly. (And this is not the only keyboard that cheaps out on key length!) But even without having one, I tend to agree, it seems worth tolerating or getting used to for the ability to get these spec at this price and this weight. (I wonder if you had a 3d printer if you could improve the feel with longer keys? Although it might not work, since the board was designed for shorter keys.) Thanks for the review.
The standard key length for pianos and pro stage pianos, controllers, etc refers to the exposed part of the key (which the Numa Compact series has at 1/2" shorter than that standard). The longer the unexposed part under the hood is (making overall length much greater), generally makes it play more evenly... that unexposed part can vary quite significantly in length.
Do you have a video that explains how to create and store user programs? The manual doesn't show how to do it. Example P-19 Vintage organ, I don't want to have to put in my parameters every time that I use that program. I want to make changes and then save it to one of the User Programs. Thanks!
Hey Chuck, thank for the video! Love my old model Numa 2X. Try a volume pedal and let us know, if you can assign the volume pedal to A or B sound? Example, is for string sound on A with volume pedal and B piano no volume pedal and sustain pedal? You fallow me?
I have a question: Is it true that you can play with the built-in speakers even when the line-out cables are connected? You said that it is indeed an option, but the manual only mentions headphone output. Thank you very much in advance! I had to return my Korg Liano because it sadly wasn’t an option...
As far as the newest edition (the one being reviewed here) - I am not sure. Although I have the updated Numa Compact 2x and it does have that option. It requires you to have to go through the menu.
The best companion/2nd keyboard around!
Absolutely agree!
Amazing introduction to Numa Compact! just got mine because of this video.
Exactly!!! Same here. Mine just arrived
This machine seriously needs a 61 and 73 keys version. I still don't understand why they don't have those formats yet

How does the keybed on this compare to the Yamaha CK61 if you've tried both?

Studiologic announced Acoustic Engine 2.0 as OS upsate to Numa X Piano.
Compact SE also shares the same engine?
Does it have balanced outputs?

Pedals (damper or expression) can be assigned to A, B, or A+B.
I love these Numa keyboards but I really wish they had Bluetooth audio for rhythms/backing tracks/iReal Pro/etc.
Better , you can connect your iPad/ iPhone and use ireal pro
