Watching the knights of the Vale cavalry plough through the Bolton infantry like a hot knife through warm butter is one of the most satisfying moments in the whole series. Partly because it’s accurate to what usually happens when infantry go up against mounted knights.
I once was that a celebration that they call super Sunday in Philadelphia by the art museum and there were hundreds of thousands of people, I found a nice little perch at the top of the art museum steps on the side of the steps probably 4 feet above the top steps, part of the structure of the building Which gave me a great view of all of the festivities. It just so happens that a fight broke out on the street. Probably 25 feet below where I was sitting, smoking some grass, And it became a riot within two minutes. I thought to myself. Oh shit this is going to get bad. But then five mounted police officers intervened, and came through the crowd like the parting of the Red Sea, they had the situation under control within five minutes. It is truly awesome what five 1500 pound animal and 5 peace officers can do in five minutes…..
Just give let him go get a large tree branch from a nearby wood, like he wielded in one of the previous episodes. Bye-bye Bolton soldiers. But no, the writers made them all into brainless fools. Sh*t writing, completely breaking suspension of disbelief. Not as bad as season 8, but the signs where allready there: the need to have specific things happening, but without proper story to connect all those things. The want for over-the-top spectacle instead of solid plot and character development.

How about not policing how people decide to watch and how they react to it? It's called a reaction video, you people clicked on it. Ones with people just sitting there are boring and pointless. These types of videos make one feel the hype and being with a group of people does the same. Chill, enjoy.
+Gabriel Moreno Nah I wish I had group of people to watch this show with or had friends who read the books like I did so we could talk about it together and freak over it. But 99% of the people I know don't watch the show so I'm alone trying to convince people to watch it and failing miserably.

It has already been 6 years, I remember watching the episodes in the morning. In India episodes released around 7 am, finishing episode before going to college, discussing them with others(I remember in the first lecture, students sitting at the back watching the episode) and after coming back home watching this channel to see the reactions. There was was so much hype for GOT. I don't think any other show has even come close to replicate the impact GOT had on pop culture.
I'm sorry, but I can't stop appreciating the guy that started with flipping the bird when Jon started charging. The camera keeps returning to his side of the bar and every time his reactions are spot on with how most of us all dealt with this that night.
can't believe i only recently discovered that shot of jon snow standing alone while all the men on horses charged at him is real. i for sure that was cgi. but nope, kit harrington actually stood there like that... wow...
Why do people allways talk like the entire season 8 sucked ...it didtn ! The two last was the only ones that could be better. And yes i havent read the book, iam happy i havent read it . I dont know if anything is missing, which is perfect ! Gives me a point of view of everything being as it should be. Well except those two episodes hehe. I mean i waited 2 years for that short season ? :P
I love the detail of every person on Jon's side - even Tormund - lowering their bows and swords in shock and, dare I say it, fear when Jon is striding forward. Shows how completed ticked off Jon is at this point.
So do i, i'm the only poor sod in my family who does not work early on Mondays he he ;) Besides, you won't have to worry about someone talking as you are watching ;)
True, but you can't dismiss the fact that this looks fun as hell. I wish bars in my country or even this city did Game of Thrones night. we only do soccer i'm afraid.
Remember: Stannis _did_ burn Shireen to death because he let Melisandre wear him like a sock puppet. By that point, I was pretty peeved with Stannis too.
Angie Müller Well, as sad as that diversion was, you might as well forget the books now. The HBO show is its own beast now. At least Game of Thrones _started off_ true to the books before deviating in a new direction, though. Preacher was already off the rails as soon as the first ten minutes of the pilot aired. Now _that's_ a travesty.
This was my favorite episode and Watchers on the Wall. It started off slow. I was like… I don’t see the hype. Then I got to Watchers on the Wall. I was like.. “oh this ish is good”😂
Right after this episode aired, I had about 10,000 conversations online that went like this: "But what does it say about us, as a culture, that we enjoyed watching a HUMAN BEING get eaten by dogs?" "He's not a human being, he's an actor who pretended to be a serial-killing rapist that skinned people alive. Like, immediately after watching this I sent Iwan Rheon a nice Tweet congratulating him for portraying such an iconic monster, and the next day he gave an interview saying how happy he was for the support he got from people who know he's not actually Ramsay Bolton." "THAT'S NOT THE SORT OF PERSON I WANT TO BE." "Oh god, you were one of those people who said Season 5 was 'problematic', weren't you?" "Well the Sand Snakes were like a softcore Cinemax parody of the Power Rangers." "....you win this round, Slate editor."
Can I just say Sean L, that when you edited in the "Jon, I've made a huge mistake" part with the funny music I about lost my shit and choked on my drink. That was awesome.
Am I the only one that felt kinda bad for Ramsay? Not that I didn't want him to die (I couldn't fucking wait for it) but for some reason I adore the actor Iwan Rheon and also there isn't a character to hate in the series. The whitewalkers dont count!
At some point during Season 5 or 6 I stopped caring about Ramsay as a character and was only happy to see Iwan's spine-chilling, blood-curdling performance. And now it's curtain call…
That was such a Great work designing the battle , Editing , Shots , Cuts , Cinematography , Sound Editing , Acting , Stunt Choreography etc. One of the Memorable Battle scenes of my life time. Brilliant. I am thinking how much effort they would have put to make it so real and to make the audience to feel the real presence of the Battle Field.
The last scene with Sansa and Ramsey...gave me chills...but not for what you might think. She watches him taking those first bites from his dog then almost leaves...but then moves back into frame and closer to the cage to watch. It shows how hardened she's become due to all she's been through and seen. She isn't as hardened as Aria...but she's changed into a more knowing and powerful woman. It's a very intense scene.
Have to admit. Seeing that Stark banner back at Winterfell after all that family went through made me shed a tear.

That's what so great about Jon, he just stands there ready to take on an entire cavalry alone. But he'll never have to.
I think that was probably the best episode of GOT, for the suspense, action, many twists and the unrelenting brutality and both Jon and Sansa shown as the boss in each of their own ways.
That guy who war cryed when the armies clashed was awesome XD
His a wildling
Nobody cried you idiot! I guess 50 idiots thought they saw that too lol
@@tonymullen3920 : Dude, Chill!!!
The way he accepted that he was gonna do this alone and die alone and then the army comes in was hard as hell
The choreography of that entire battle was awe-breaking and amazing! Gotta be one of the best episodes
6:40 is a mormont shield so at least one of them made it. the smallest details in the show is amazing!
Yes! I love that this was noticed! Lady Mormont deserved better. She was a badass till the end! 🐻🏝💙
I love how everyone took a big ass drink when the hounds ate Ramsay's face off, lol
Iwan Rheon is such a fantastic actor, and a great guy in real life. Mega respect for his powerful, dominating performance as Ramsay.
Holy hell I was just checking if the next one was up yet.
same :P
No matter the ending of GOT, it’ll still always be the best time I’ve ever had watching a tv show.
Girl with the bowtie has the widest range of facial expressions I've ever seen
She knows she's getting filmed and she is being cringe worthy
He was being sarcastic...
Imagine they forged a massive sword and gave it to the giant... he would have been so more deadly!
A chain whip. He could have been whipping rows of people in half.
Could have just given him a tree to swing around.
Scythe bro, you ever seen someone annihilating knee high chaff with one?
He was too big a target to become a pin cushion
Just give let him go get a large tree branch from a nearby wood, like he wielded in one of the previous episodes. Bye-bye Bolton soldiers.
But no, the writers made them all into brainless fools. Sh*t writing, completely breaking suspension of disbelief. Not as bad as season 8, but the signs where allready there: the need to have specific things happening, but without proper story to connect all those things. The want for over-the-top spectacle instead of solid plot and character development.
Years later I still believe Battle of the Bastards is one of the best things to be put on television EVER!!!
Best group reactions ever
she's my favorite
+Space Alien hater
I need to date her. :(
Google *Proxy Paige*. I still say it's her.
She looks exactly like my ex :/
No way would I be able to watch GOT with 50 screaming people. I’ve got to have silence so I can analyze every minutiae
The worst thing they were fucking clapping also. Do these fuckers know what clapping is for?
Jesus Christ! Relax shortfuse
@rudy2fat they're not watching reruns you dimwit
@@personofinterest3062 did he/she say anything about them watching re runs dimwit? God you're a bigger idiot. I suggest you learn reading skill.
@@320FL ok I may have misunderstood that but I like to absorb as much as I can in the first time. You see unlike you I'm too busy to waste my time in watching a show two three times, okay child
Anyone else watching this during lockdown?
cool talk I’ve seen it. It’s just fun to go back and watch reactions of these episodes, when we all know how it ends.
Yea me
4:26 riders of rohan!!! Opps wrong fantasy novel
Dumpstermuffin1 lol
lol funny how i shouted such quotes during that scene..
Honestly just stop
YOU WILL TASTE MAN FLESH!!!!
RIP Ramsay Bolton. That villain was amazing!
Yes!
Agree, I'm glad they gave him one more chance to be sadistic before he was killed off. I will miss watching his fucked up antics!
I hate Joffrey more, he's is a total jerk ass wimp. Ramsay is just a little not right in the head, like a more Psychopathic version Joker in Batman.
Rest In Pieces! LMAO
"Aren't you the bold lord?"
Man. I STILL get chills when the Knights of the Vale arrive. The music swelling with that banner waving, just peak
I feel like some of these people are reacting so over the top just because they know they're going to be in a reaction video
My reaction was way more over the top , and I was alone at my house
How about not policing how people decide to watch and how they react to it? It's called a reaction video, you people clicked on it. Ones with people just sitting there are boring and pointless. These types of videos make one feel the hype and being with a group of people does the same. Chill, enjoy.
+Gabriel Moreno "If they did they would watch it at home" thats simply not true.
+Gabriel Moreno Nah I wish I had group of people to watch this show with or had friends who read the books like I did so we could talk about it together and freak over it. But 99% of the people I know don't watch the show so I'm alone trying to convince people to watch it and failing miserably.
+Axele this is the story of my life. Every Monday morning is filled with me asking my coworkers "do you watch GoT?... No... Shit.. I asked you last week"
There won't be a 6x10 reaction, apparently the bar exploded with wildfire.
4:38 Sansa: "Lord Snow stands alone"
Littlefinger: "Not alone. KNIGHTS OF THE VALE!"
To the king in the north!!!
50% of time went to checking out the cute girl in the head scarf
Me too. She is cute af
she was kinda overreacting and felt irritating.and i didnot see her in old reaction video
Too bad that she is flanked by two feminazi :))
***** My bad. You are right. I was rude. I am sorry about that. Watched a bit too many stupid videos and i let myself be influenced by them. Again i am sorry.
SuperSerialnumber Wow, that is the first time i've personally seen a UA-cam argument being defused and end peacefully. Kudos to you sir, kudos indeed.
4:31 Tormund reacts to Tormund? 🤔
Its his ansestor
Tormundception ! 😂
Lol
@@Maddy-ht8pg lol
Lmao
Tormund's cousin in the back going hype after he bites Umber's neck off.
I think you're a little confused. You are Jon Targaryen. Never forget it my son.
I am a targaryen
Jon Targaryen I'm just your ''Stark'' side.
left and right brain meet as one
can't believe i only recently discovered that shot of jon snow standing alone while all the men on horses charged at him is real. i for sure that was cgi. but nope, kit harrington actually stood there like that... wow...
Love that guy who just screams "C*NT" when Ramsay kills Wun Wun
It's January 2017 and still can't over it. Season 7 feels like a forever wait.
4:33 Tormund Giantsbane watching himself, like living the moment again.
wtf was that scream at 1:06 are you sure that person is ok???
lmaoo
Yeahhhhhhhhhhhahahahahaha
that was a t rex
This is his only free time during the week, let him enjoy the show. ^^
sounds like he is getting tortured :p
With the disaster season 8 has been I had to come back here to the good ol days
Me too brother..
Same lmao
Same here ! If anyone deleted the season 8 no one would actually mind it.
6:25 the hatred for Ramsay is strong in that most right girl
I watch it alone at home. :(......
So do i, i'm the only poor sod in my family who does not work early on Mondays he he ;)
Besides, you won't have to worry about someone talking as you are watching ;)
True, but you can't dismiss the fact that this looks fun as hell.
I wish bars in my country or even this city did Game of Thrones night.
we only do soccer i'm afraid.
it if fun to watch on youtube but to watch with them all i will go crazy with clapping and cheering all time.
Same here, would love to watch GOT like this. Or any great tv really!
I'd watch a few episodes in a bar, but yyes, I crowded bar with a lot of noise may kill some of the dramatic scenes
1:40 the girl on the left had only one thing going trough her head: „ yesss john kill them all“😂
to be fair I've had a hard time taking this crowd seriously after they cheered at Stannis' Death.
Remember: Stannis _did_ burn Shireen to death because he let Melisandre wear him like a sock puppet. By that point, I was pretty peeved with Stannis too.
+BloodyBay I was more peeved at the creators of the show annihilating Stannis' character.
Didn't Martin say he wants her to die sacrificed by her dad and Mels on the books too?
ApplePie he had no choice
7:50 It's been over a month and that banner drop still brings a smile to my face :)
7 years later and it’s still satisfying :)
Game of thrones really was peak TV at the time, I remember waking up at 3 in the morning for this
R.I.P Ramsay :'( A true hero in this cruel world :(
Are you Barney?
The Worst There Is ? no
Surely you meant "RIP Ramsay", not "R.I.P Ramsay".
invock It's the same for me
He was a great man who tried to make world a better and peaceful place. He was a good man. Rest in peace Ramsay. We will never forget you
7:18 Jon sees Sansa, stops. Sansa's munching popcorn, like, "Nah, please, go ahead."
This was my favorite episode and Watchers on the Wall. It started off slow. I was like… I don’t see the hype. Then I got to Watchers on the Wall. I was like.. “oh this ish is good”😂
I miss the way we were always so invested in the series. Never again will it be like this imo
8:44 love that mean laughter, did the same way when i heard roaring dogs :P
Even Joffrey dying wasn't as half as satisfying as this.
Right after this episode aired, I had about 10,000 conversations online that went like this:
"But what does it say about us, as a culture, that we enjoyed watching a HUMAN BEING get eaten by dogs?"
"He's not a human being, he's an actor who pretended to be a serial-killing rapist that skinned people alive. Like, immediately after watching this I sent Iwan Rheon a nice Tweet congratulating him for portraying such an iconic monster, and the next day he gave an interview saying how happy he was for the support he got from people who know he's not actually Ramsay Bolton."
"THAT'S NOT THE SORT OF PERSON I WANT TO BE."
"Oh god, you were one of those people who said Season 5 was 'problematic', weren't you?"
"Well the Sand Snakes were like a softcore Cinemax parody of the Power Rangers."
"....you win this round, Slate editor."
It say we like dogs .
Can I just say Sean L, that when you edited in the "Jon, I've made a huge mistake" part with the funny music I about lost my shit and choked on my drink.
That was awesome.
Dude it's an Arrested Development reference!! If you haven't seen the show, you should totally check it out. Among the best comedies ever on TV
Thanks. I'll do that.
Who else felt like they couldn't breathe when Jon was getting crushed? Ultra realistic. SOOOO good.
Am I the only one that felt kinda bad for Ramsay? Not that I didn't want him to die (I couldn't fucking wait for it) but for some reason I adore the actor Iwan Rheon and also there isn't a character to hate in the series. The whitewalkers dont count!
Probably that'll be Euron Greyjoy.
At some point during Season 5 or 6 I stopped caring about Ramsay as a character and was only happy to see Iwan's spine-chilling, blood-curdling performance. And now it's curtain call…
How about Cersei and Tommen?
+Jesus Mendoza meh.. tommen will probably die soon, maybe cersei too
I still hate Cersei after all, she started everything
4:35 When Thormund likes how Thormund fight.
1:00 That's got to be one of the greatest screen shots in TV history...absolutely brilliant editing and cinematography !!
Jon Snow really lived out that line in Rocky II when he beat up Ramsay: “the man kept coming after you”
7:36 finally someone knows how to clap like a human.
When Wunwun rips the guy in half:
Girls: "Ewwwwww"
Boys: "WHOOOO!"
She became sadistic. Thats why Ramsey said he is part of her now
@@NitpickingNerd exactly. Great scene.
People hate on Rickon for not zigzagging but I ask, why didn't Jon or any of his army yell, "Hey, duck!"
