That is absolutely beautiful. Wish I could afford to do this. I'm putting a little in at a time. I have to admit that anything is better than cutting grass
Ha Ha... Yeah Buddy! And consider the water bill at the end of summer keeping the grass green and flourishing. My backyard garden has just a little lawn and I pride myself in keeping it like a putting green. There is something sweet about walking in nice lawn with no shoes or socks! My front parking strip goes brown every summer and bounces back in the fall when the rain starts up. Yes, you can do this. How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time! Eric and Bev are my neighbors just a block away from where I live. I have given them ideas over the years. It is a work in progress but as you can see. They have created their own outdoor room oasis. A place where they can get away and just relax in nature. The sound of the water trickling down the stream blocks out the noise of the HVAC unit at the corner grocery store. Ha Ha... All good! Thanks for your comments. Jeff
Nice to see you in your element. I hope someday soon I will be able to get out gardening at my place. Seems like you would make a very good eccentric English gardener
One thing to consider, growing any garden in a "crowded" manner helps to reduce the space where weeds will have an opportunity to germinate and take hold. I have very few unwanted weeds growing in my yard. All because there is little open soil areas for them to grow in. Just a thought....

A lovely tour of this garden with background music, design insight and plant identifications. Thank you~!
Glad you enjoyed it!
It’s unbelievably beautiful!
A "garden of distinction" and a video of distinction too!
Great content!
I wish I was rich so I could have a beautiful lot and plant a beautiful garden 🥲
Chris, even container gardening can be fun and creative. And a lot less maintenance and hard work than a big garden!
It is nice but probably a bit too crowded in my opinion.
