I have an earlier Haibike Trekking Sduro RC with the previous generation Yamaha PW motor. I love it. Do be aware that the oversized rack tubing means some popular pannier clips won’t fit. I picked up larger clips which solved the problem. Even the prior gen motor is powerful and climbs serious hills if you’re in the appropriate gear, and I get great range. I often ride in the second power level, eco (off, eco+, eco, std, high), but nudge up if I don’t want to break a sweat on hills on my 9 mile commute. I got mine as a previous year model from an online seller for a significant discount, so I’d agree with the reviewer that this is a good thing to look out for.
I have just bought the haibike trekker 6, I believe the magnetized cover on the headlight is for access to the holding screws on the type C display unit which is positioned directly above the light unit, I had to fit a coin battery in the unit and to do so I had to remove the magnetized cover.
I didn’t realize Haibike was a German brand. About six months ago I saw someone on one and I just figured it was a low cost Chinese mail order one. Good to know.
This motor is nominal rated at 250w of continuous power delivery as is legal standard with ebike motors in the EU market, But they can peak much higher! 6-900 watts depending on motor. Do you really think 250watts can push 70/80/90/120nm of torque?
Just about to order one:) Not sure wich frame to go with. I'm worried the mix/ladies frame might cause an 'uprised' position for me, but at the same time I want my wife to be able to ride it as well (we're about the same height). What are your thoughts on the sitting-position?
Electric bikes in the UK are crap, they only go 15 mph,I saved up for two years and bought one,had it for a couple of days and took it back, too slow for my liking 👍🚴🏴
In the EU and UK it will give motor assistance to 15.5 mph (25 kph); it is restricted by law. However it is fairly simple to derestrict e-bikes but it would break any warranties.

dude, sorry but i am extremely jealous, that bike is in my never can afford buy list, dang bro
Good review but I believe that $3200 for a 250 watt bike seams way too much.

You know that 25kmh/15mph is just when the motor stops assisting? If you’re fairly fit you can easily push it faster
horrible...get an Aventon Level....better and less $$$
.. Chinese rear-wheel drive. you get what you pay for in this life. if you haven't learnt that yet.....
Womans frame.
And I'm sure this bike does a whopping 13 miles an hour which you can probably pedal faster
it does 20mph top speed

@@mikeyg5159 I've had 37mph out of my sduro hardseven 6.0.
Factory restricted.
@@Jedi_Knight_1970 yeah that sucks. 32 km/h would be better.
