I like that you actually travelled to a get hold of a lot of these notes. You can associate the pleasant times you had in those countries with the banknotes and I think that's just priceless :)
@@Daveyboyz1978 oh lol I said that because I thought you were talking about the Greek notes! Even if you were it’s fine I just would’ve had to because I’m a Greek myself though I do like the Brazilian notes especially the late 1800s ones.

@@Daveyboyz1978 I agree they aren’t best of condition and the Greek silver is great to me. With the EU I actually think they treat us very well. It’s our government that screwed up mainly the former Socialist prime minister they took the money from Germany and spent it on other stuff besides the people and ended up screwing over many poor people to homeless. I feel like the EU actually tries to help Greece especially since they took border guards to help Greece with Turkey. However it was a mistake to switch to the Euro because Greece needs slight inflation here and there and that really screwed us over. However now we have a new prime minister that dose do a good job.
@@crete1882 Taking away your currency adjustment mechanism is the reason austerity was forced on you. I am glad to hear you are getting border help but when the EU dissolved internal borders they promised to help with external borders and your islands were inundated and I don't think you got the help you deserved. Many of these people were just turned loose because Greece wasn't in a situation to register and process them. Greece was the cradle of civilization, it should never get dissolved into a federal state IMO thats what the EU seeks to do. Dissolve our cultures and centralise our powers into a federal state like the USSR mark two.
When I travel I collect the current banknotes and then I add the older ones either from an online seller, trading with other collectors or at collectors fairs. (I have traveled lots)
