Right, I used to straighten to trim. After that first bout of heat damage, "no maam, never again..." I cut off the loose curls and gave my flat iron to my sister.
The girls stretch the hair because we have what’s called “shrinkage”, which is basically when the curls make your hair coil and seem shorter than it is. Edit: I’m surprised she didn’t use a hot comb on her edges. Most black stylists do

Products. I have curly hair but for frizz I use leave in conditioners and cool water and a micro fibre towel and just scrunch the water out of it but not to much or it does still cause frizz. For ME using a cream then a oil helps

As a Polynesian woman, Hawaiian in specific, with my hella long hair plus it's pretty curly, most people have no idea how much work it takes into maintaining or styling this hair. they use a blowdryer and straightener because it’s a silk press! they silk press the hair so they don’t have to straighten it for a couple of weeks. it lasts longer

Start doing the Curly Girl Method!! There's a Facebook group for it! Your hair will transform from frizzy to amazing once you start using the Curly Girl Method lol. So many people in the group who have improved their hair
Products. I have curly hair but for frizz I use leave in conditioners and cool water and a micro fibre towel and just scrunch the water out of it but not to much or it does still cause frizz. For ME using a cream then a oil helps

Chile... I Was the natural girl in school, honey! Chile, the fros came in the shop, and I would hear "YOLI! YOU GOT A CLIENT!!" I... Loved straightening hair! I used to get a heat protecting spray and cream with Juicy wet hair of water and mousse, and roller set and steam, then hood dry, so when I'd get the iron, I could get them together with one pass on a lower heat with less damage. It made me happy, and that silk wrap gives me Super powers! Nobody wanted to bother, but they was my Babies! I'm a loctician and braider, now, but I miss my straight natural clients

something you should know brad!!!! don't blow dry it wet because instead of taking frizz out, you're going to give it heat damage which ruins your curls.
