How did this even work??

‎@UKRestorationServices working on a small cottage in Nr Preston. We found a massive structural issues with a patio door install. The construction company who installed the door has installed a under sized lintel for the support of the Brickwork and floor above.
On this Home there is a real issue the Patio Sliding Doors could Collapse.

Shameful. Firm long since disappeared never to answer phone, letter, e-mail. Cash payment for 10%? Track them down and put some manners on them.

Bad workmanship is a hugh problem in the construction sector. We always advise clients to understand / research the drawings and specifications. However, it shouldn't have to be like this.
