Out of the children of Dio, the essence of the Earthly chaos called weather wasn’t changed by the son who can realize dreams, the son who can guide cryptids of the atmosphere, nor even the son who can transmute life (possibly slugs). It was the son with memories buried in the chthonic realms.
I do like the interpretation of the sons of Dio (including Giorno) having ties to Heaven or interpretations of the afterlife. Under World being an Earthly Root, or a good-natured underworld like the *memory-washing* Elysium. Sky High being the entrance to the Heavens and its many angels and deities, but being a mysterious place to the ancients, that sky residents was commonly speculated. Bohemian Rhapsody being the realm of fantasy like the Celtic mythological Otherworld, a realm where fairies just vibe, but also the deities and rested souls, it’s full of whimsy you’d expect from a fairy land. Gold Experience is a representation of life itself but also GE Requiem is the karmic cycle itself, seen from Diavolo’s punishment being very much like Naraka.
I really like his character and his design. He truly is dios son. He is no golden heart giorno but he is a black hearted versus. Just like his father. Dio would be proud of him until he got disrespected like that. Versus was a pretty cool and evil villain. Its just he got violated.
Anyone getting mixer of underworld group music vibes sole survivor riffs and born sippy mixer of 90s and Spider-Man unlimited series music vibes. Or is it just me. Also? Who here a dontello Versace fan and fan of underworld and the stand being reference to the group. Much at the time I read the manga. I watch underworld as a kid. The movie.
