Getting it done! Got the underside of my 64 painted today. Little bit of seam sealer, paint the firewall and I’m hopefully setting it on the frame. I’m ready for this part to be over. What’s your most enjoyable part of the build process?
Sounds good RJ. We need video updates 😎....most enjoyable for me is block sanding in 180 grit. I dont know why but it's therapeutic for me....I also enjoy hardlining returns with the pump on my little jig
"Free" That was Middle name when my Son was racing Karts, we got 30K worth of product one year. The Quarter looks Great!!! Nice work. Funny how some cars have perfect parts on them. I'm in FL now so I will be looks for some yards to see if I can find anything for the 64.
Quick question on your flange welds for the quarter panel, did you just weld the spot welds along the flange or did you weld the spot welds on the flange plus completely weld the flange entire seem ? Hope i made sense...
Look good!!! Quick quest I’ve been looking at rotisseries and I was wondering where you get your from bro? Also any tips on why you got the one you have. Thank you!!

No flange, butt welded the entire seam...
What’s the prices for the firewall pieces? Again, great work bro.
I would love to see a video on removing the trim on that vehicle.
@lonestar what is the thought process to do fabrication first then sandblast versus sandblast primer fabrication?
Kinda the same thing I guess. I'm sanding the paint off the exterior and blasting the floors
I believe you predicted a 2-year timeframe for this build at the outset. Still on track for that?
I'd like to have it painted this summer. I think I can pull it off. Then assembly in the fall and into early next year...I hope..
Whats the price for the firewall plates for a 61 and how do we order?
They are 200 shipped. You could text me at 281 832 2856
@@lonestarlows Ok I don't get paid until the 31st but when I do I will text you. Thanks for providing them! Thats a really good price.
Yessir. Thank you

It's CR3000. Sold on ebay. Was 1000 when I got it. And it was the cheapest one out there. Works good
@@lonestarlows thank you 🙏🏽
You guys don't do too much metal forming do you? I think you guys have a small learning curve of you were to get some metal shaping equipment.
No I dont. I did get a shrinking disc and slapper spoon in the mail yesterday though
