- HD Film Tributes Supports Kamala Harris for President! - kamalaharris.com/
I've never done anything like this before with this channel, however this is the most important presidential election of our lifetime. -- Donald Trump is a convicted felon who has also been found liable for both fraud and sexual assault. In addition, he clearly does not respect the democratic process unless the results are in his favor. That is why I am using this channel (and the over one million views it gets per day) to encourage people to vote for Kamala Harris on November 5th. She supports raising the minimum wage, LGBTQ rights, clean energy, and a woman's right to choose. -- I realize that I'll probably lose some subscribers because of this post, and for that I'm sorry because I hate to see anyone go. -- Anyway, thank you for reading.
-- Soundtrack from the 1988 Ron Howard/George Lucas film "Willow," with Val Kilmer, Warwick Davis, Joanne Whalley, Billy Barty, Patricia Hayes, Pat Roach, Gavan O'Herlihy & Jean Marsh. -- HD Film Tributes is a channel with over three hundred movie homages currently posted. We make zero money from UA-cam as obviously none of these edits will ever be monetized by us. Any and all ad revenue from these videos goes directly to Google as well as to the various copyright owners, just as it should.

The use of pan flutes in this makes it truly magical 1:35. James Horner was a genius.
Amazing. In my opinion Willow is the best fantasy movie ever.
I think I could agree.
You're going too small, the best movie ever!
this movie was ahead of it's time, the writing and effects were great compared to other movies of its era
What?!
It's a phenomenal movie all around, but there are other amazing movies with effects just as good (see ANY Lucasfilms production, of which this is just one), as well as writing just as good (too many to even mention.... ). Insofar as writing, this era was a golden age. What came later generally pales in comparison, and nowadays is almost invariably pure poo.
A good combination of combat and superstition for a film....
100% correct
I loved this movie before it was the cool trend to love this movie. The most underrated and under appreciated fantasy ever made. I’m so excited for the sequel series on Disney+
Same here. It's beautiful. It makes me feel better about the world every time I watch it.
I just realized Horner took this theme from Schumann’s 3rd symphony. About a 75% match anyway. Oh well. Most of us 80s kids would never have gotten to enjoy it if Horner hadn’t brought it back for us.
This movie was basically the Lord of the Rings trilogy roled into one film, before we even got the real deal with Peter Jackson's trilogy. George Lucas and Ron Howard did it first (so to speak).
It's funny how you mentioned that, because when Peter Jackson first got started on "The Lord of the Rings, the first company he approached about the movies was Miramax.
Unfortunately, Miramax wanted to mash it all into one movie and weren't interested in sequels out of fear the sequels would flop.
No other film studio was interested in making it a trilogy. Some were only interested in making it into 2 movies.
But one of Jackson's friends got them in contact with a colleague of his who worked for the president of New Line Cinema, who was very interesting in the movies becoming an epic trilogy.
@MrOuran369 and if I remember correctly, George Lucas wanted to adapt The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings, but he couldn't secure the rights from Tolkien's estate, so he made his own version, which became this movie.
One of the best fantasy projects ever made, and one of the best magic battles ever. 1:40 gets my emotions every time. Such great nostalgia with this film that goes straight to my heart. Cannot wait for the show tomorrow which looks amazing!!
Watched this movie with my 5 y/o and when that part of the song played, she started crying and said "This music is just so beautiful"
I remember how powerful this music felt when I listened to it when I was a kid for the first time, and im almost 40 now and it STILL hits me
Too bad the show has been a complete swing and a miss from what the movie was
この曲の様に気持ちが高まる映画音楽は他にはない。
最高の映画音楽!
aside from "Lord of the Ring's" and "Neverending Story," this is my 3rd favorite fantasy film
I can't watch modern movies.. I effing love this.. Madmartigan is my xbox account name....
It's also my elden ring character name :)
You have to appreciate how much they packed into one movie, and told a complete story, vs. the 3x 3hour bloated mess that Peter Jackson's the Hobbit turned into.
James was equal to john Williams but he was between two generations, one younger and one older than him....
R. I. P james for me your are the best movies composer with joe Hisaishi
This movie might be the best fantasy movie ever.
LoL
It's the best fantasy movie ever :)
After LOTR.
@@asch7906 that was a true story
Best singular fantasy movie ever
Um música inspiradora para quem gosta de fantasia medieval.
the movie i saw 10 000 times when i was a child
How could they ruin this gem this bad... They had such a fantastic material to work on and we end up with whatever this postmodern show is supposed to be...
No pop music, no modern clothes, no teenagers talking like surfers, just true old passionate fantasy
This is lightyears better then the new one
Great music for a wonderful movie.
I'm currently enjoying the Disney Plua series. Is anyone else enjoying it?
I'm currently three episodes in but I'm really bummed out by the lack of reference to this score... especially in the end credits where they decided for some bizarre reason to instead go for a bunch of lame rock song covers. I'm guessing some studio exec said they needed to copy Stranger Things.
This is Main Theme of my chldhood
Val picks up Warwick, gives him a tap or 3...you know for sure....
Nobody knows but willow, krull and terminator are Juses life representation!!!!!!!!!!!!
Still a childhood fave, but disney just had to buy "Lucasfilm" and put out that abominable series Xx
I was obsessed with the bad guy with the skull helmet as a 7 year old, he looked so cool. I hated when Balmora slapped him!
They should remake willow, the series was ridiculously bad
