Help??? Did you use a tool or just yank on the cable to unplug the wiring harness/connector? I used my hand to disconnect the push pin from the frame just above it but I cant seem to get enough hand force to pull the two wiring harness/connectors apart from each other.
Pretty sure you can just change out the light lens or put a sticker over it, you should check Ebay. I got some bad scratches on my side view mirrors and in trying to find new ones (with the BLIS system) I ran across some of the lights with pony emblem.
Did you wrap mirror in one piece? I seem to get a lot of fingering when I get to the bottom of mirror when it curves down. I tried stretching but I just end up with overlapping wrap. I started the wrap on the top largest flat surface btw
Who ever designed that wire for the mirror needs to be fired at Ford

try prestretching across horizontally. even tho this is 9 months later.
