@@gregmartin824 I’ve tweaked the shifting linkage countless times and it still does it, admittedly better after I installed a CVTech primary. Nature of the beast I suspect lol
One thing I will say with my Cforce 600 after a 1000 miles now it has definitely gotten a lot better at shifting to the point it barely does it anymore But when it does I just hold the brake give it a little bit of throttle and it pops right in the gear no problem.
My cf 500 has 1,200 on it with a completely clean and refreshed (replaced the high wear parts and belt) clutch and the shifting worse than it's ever been. I have to shut it off to shift it . What do I do!!!????
My UFORCE 600 doesn't do that going into low just park. But now I know not to use park anymore. Just got my clutch kit from you and will be installing it tomorrow morning, have to wait until early morning to work outside here in Florida because the heat index is well over 100.
@@R.N.GPerformance Well I got my primary kit installed and yes it did get rid of the jerky jerk but I was not expecting it would have to rev up to 2500 to 2800 RPM before it would start to move but when it does start to move it is smooth. So is it normal to have to rev up that high before it will start to move? The only other thing I had problems with was the air intake going to the clutch housing had to take it off and the gasket kept falling off. This is a UFORCE 600 I have.
It's because you're not supposed to haul it around in park as it damages the part that engages the park. It is in the transmission. There is a detailed video out there for it and CF Moto actually says not to haul on any quad or side by side in park. For the name of the part but definitely in the transmission.
My 2023 950 sport does some weird shifting stuff couple times sounds like cards in a spoke 🚲 another time sounded like driveshaft clanking, and they did away with parking brake, makes no sense, then tell you in manual not to use park for transportation and you can't use on hill or gets stuck 🤔
Thanks for the great vids. Straight to the point and very informative with no BS. Do the u force 1000 have the same shifter issues? And how much is the aftermarket clutch kit for the 1000? Thanks
Have you tried adjusting the shifter linkage? Seen some have good results doing it. I just picked up a 2023 600 to plow driveway and have shifter issues. Think I’m gonna adjust the linkage.
Wish you were in Texas I’d bring mine to you for it first service and goodies never worked on these things before I’m sure I could do it just not 100% confident in myself
I have never done a clutch kit before in my life but after watching his videos I bought his primary kit and I'm going to try installing it tomorrow morning. The hardest thing to me looks to be getting in there to it. Just make sure you mark it the way he shows so you put it back in the way you take it out so you don't mess up the balance. I have my sharpie ready. I bet you could do it plus you can contact RNG if you are having problems.
Well, I'm glad you made this video. I was about to bring my 23 Uforce in just for this shifting issue. What a pain in the @ss! Why is Park a no go? Never heard that in your vids before?
We don’t use park because the parking paw in the transmission is thin and breaks very easily. I’ve talked about it a couple times and allot on Facebook.
Hey rng I have that same machine even got the doors just put on too,I use mine for hunting, outdoor chores and plowing snow would that same kit be good for me? Like seeing the 600 on your channel I wanna learn more about what all I can do to maximize it’s potential
My 2021 Cforce 500 (1,200 miles on it). Has the WORST shifter problem EVER!!! I put a new clutch bearing on it, new belt, thoroughly cleaned ALL the parts on the CVT, replaced all the sliders,.and reclocked it to B2 forore torque and even took out the one way bearing like you suggest and this thing will NOT shift. When it first starts, it's fine, but the longer it's running and the warmer the clutch or transmission gets (I assume) the worse it gets. Eventually to the point I have to shut it off so that I can shift it THEN start it back up. Which is a problem by it self , but catastrophic if I'm exhaust deep in a mud pit and have to shut it off to shift it. What can be done!!!!!?????? It's even starting to make squeaking sounds the longer it's riding for.
Is there a way to re-calibrate speedometer on a 2022 Zforce 800? My speedo is 3mph fast, per gps & stationary radar guns. Only found one video on another channel, but the method doesn't work on my machine.
I wonder how different grades/brands of oil could affect this shifting? My older simple dualsport bikes like my TW200 and my DRZ400 would shift differently and be easier or harder to find neutral with diff ent oils. Now I know this is not exactly the same thing, comparing a sxs to a dirt bike transmission, but I’m willing to try anything.
What your referring to had to do with the clutch disks. These don’t have that so it don’t help at all. They do get better as you put miles on them but they still suck lol.
@@R.N.GPerformance not quite clutch performance I’m talking about, It’s more like how nicely the shift lever moves as you click through the gears. Both when riding or just sitting idling with the clutch in engaging first, or even shifting up to second. I know a lot has to do with how well your clutch engages or disengages to free up the transmission from having any tension on it. But this is more like how nicely things seem to move. I’ve always attributed it to how well the gears slide on the spline shaft, when the shift forks push or pull on them. I’m just grasping at straws really. Thinking anything might make it a little easier. I know that if I wait just a few seconds after I come to a stop before I try to shift to reverse or to drive from reverse, it seems to shift better. I’ve noticed that when you rev the engine, then let off the RPMs will drop to idle, but it takes a second or two for the clutch to completely stop spinning. I’m guessing another issue could be the cable linkage supposed to direct linkage. There’s always some flex and distortion and cable linkage.
I live in Illinois around the St Louis Mo area, is there anyone around here there you could recommend to install your products. Im not ready to drive to Ohio 😂😂😂😂
My boss bought one for around work here in northwest Oh. Thing has a starting issue, just won't turn over like it's not going in to park although it is, for some reason the starter is more often than not, failing to start. Anyone else run in to this issue?
Obviously, none of you have read the manual. It says exactly how to operate this machine. If you do not read the manual, and follow the directions completely do not complain about hard shifting.
Really? My videos are a waste of time to you? Do you not know how much time effort and money it takes to do these? Yet here you are watching FOR FREE and complaining? Logic there my friend. May the good lord bless your food stamp logic.
