I have a 600 also it does the same thing but my can-am and Polaris did to. It is just how it is on a hill hard to get out of gear. Just incase you would like to smooth that thing out some and lower engagement rpms and riding rpms. The secondary comes clocked in b2 I moved mine to a1 and they have 20 gram weights also. I changed to 24 gram weights. It now engages at 2000 rpm instead of 2700 and in low does 10 to 12 mph at 3600 rpms much smoother and a lot less noisy.

Pretty common with most UTVs, all brands. I own a CF moto as well, just drove a polaris at deer camp this week, took every thing I have to get his polaris into different gears. His was a 2018 4 seater.

Park to neutral--> neutral to Low is my solution. As long as its one swift motion it works every time. Havent had issues with getting into Reverse, but employing that same technique should work fine.

Have since figured that out , just seems you shouldn't have to. That's for the comment.

Very common problem with alot of ORV's - Can Am especially. You learn to work around it.

I've got the same issues. That's the only thing that pisses me off about this machine. Had them adjust whatever they adjusted but it's the same. I got stuck going uphill. Could not get it into reverse. Had to get out and push it like a Gorilla. Finally got it in reverse. For a brand new machine this should not be an issue. I always park it in neutral and use the park break.

Yah , disappointing I got it as more a "work" vehicle, I don't have a flat piece of ground , so I have to keep it in the back of my mind how and where to park it.

Mine does that even on flat areas. Dealer told me they were booked up for like 3 months on service and said it was probably some sort of shift linkage that was too tight and that there was some videos online on how to adjust it. Which is why I am here. My dump trailers is also stuck in the down position too if anyone has any ideas. Those grease joints look like for the suspension. Nothing to do with the transmission.

I realize that , my dealer told me the gears wear square cut ans would round over with time , and shift easier. It has except on stepper inclines , I don't even take mine out of gear any more just turn the wheels and let it roll to rest. No flat ground around where I am and this seems to work. I believe the linkinange you are speaking about is under one of the seats , passanger if not mistaken. Just to let you know does get a little better with time.

@@campwhatsthepoint Yes I think I found the linkage under the passenger seat. I have yet to get at it with a wrench to see if it helps. I don't take mine out of gear much either but I find myself needing to go into reverse a lot due to attaching to a variety of trailers I have, which has me wrestling with the shifter. Sometimes it goes right in, most of the time it just makes me angry LOL. I've had mine for about 8 months and it has only gotten slightly better. I'm about to send my ECU off too to have it programmed as that is the only other annoying thing about it is its poor throttle response. Trying to back up to a trailer is a pain when its like full throttle when you finally get the throttle to engage.

Some people change out the clutch , they saw has helped with where it engages and eliminate the Jerky take off. I personally drive it almost like a standard where throttle and clutch where important to smooth take off.

I am here because I have the exact same issue. Picked up a new uforce 600 yesterday and noticed this almost instantly. I have been doing what you have. I will roll forward or back a bit to shift

Apparently it's normal. The shifting has got slightly better. I talked to the dealer and he told me it was normal. When I park now I leave it in neutral and use parking brake if I have to. Apparently the gear rounds over with time and gets a little better.

As far as the jerky take off you can get new weights for the clutch. I just think if there is a fix then that's the way it should be sold.

Do you get a bad vibration through the front end and up through your seat when you take off and going up to a medium speed. I just bought one and surprised at how much it vibrates, it feels like a front tail shaft is out of balance, but i don't believe they have any. It does it in 2 and 4WD and then smooths out when up to speed. Thank you.

      Good morning,
It does vibrate some , not excessive in my opinion. I only can compare it with 4 wheelers and it does vibrate more than that. But maybe a call to your dealer and talk to service. For your own peace of mind.

That is almost certainly the power assist steering creating the vibration. Its not a terribly complicated system or even really expensive. Should be fine until it's not right?
