Hey, I found this video while looking for a tutorial on it, is there any tutorials or tabs for this? Also if anyone reading this is interested check out a song called “stars die” by porcupine tree (Steven Wilson) I’ve been arguing with my brother about it I think Steven Wilson has totally ripped this song off but still made a nice sounding song all the same. But my brother tells me he can’t hear the similarity and he is supposed to be a musician haha
This is an extremely difficult song just based on rhythm alone, not including the technique required. How you were able to pull it off and make it sound beautiful is beyond me. Also, I like how you went a step down on a few parts, brought out the main riff!
All in all, I have to say: remarkable performance and thumbs up! There were a few rhythmic mistakes and you weren't always completely in sync but you and your brother are really good musicians. I really noticed how you listened to the song carefully and also paid attention to the little details. Because this is one of my favourite Deep Purple songs, I was happy every time I saw that you played a certain detail exactly like the original. I also noticed how you used your guitar volume and the pickup selector to create the different tone nuances. That's very important in this song and you always did it in the right places. Keep it up! Did you learn the song by ear? And what equipment / software did you use? It sounds really good and very close to the original! And as you mention in the description box: this is such a beautiful piece of music :)
@@TheEgypt64 listening to it again...really impressed! lot of pup switching and volume twitching. Please tell how you got the tone!!!!!!! That is so near original......i have the axe fx 2 and i've spent a 100 hours trying to get this tone!! Oh yeah.....where's the tab? 😉
Thank you @@ravingiron9356 , tone is from my handmade germanium fuzz face into my mooer radar cab, then into soundcard with some delay and reverb. That's all 😀
Very well done guys, difficult piece to cover, especially with an electric drum 👏
Thank you so much !!!
