Flaws with these 3 steps: Step 1: Developer tools need to be enabled and the certificate fingerprint prompt needs to be accepted with can only be done when phone is already unlocked. Step 2: The screen is broken (as in its black not cracked with a broken touch sensor) you can't see when you are clicking you basically trying to use "infinite monkeys" to unlock our phone. Step 3: If you didn't enable Remote Unlock on the device prior to breaking your phone this doesn't works.
What a ridiculous tutorial... He says "Then change the location of the ADB file, then just go ahead and type in the following prompt which I'm going to show on screen" WITHOUT ACTUALLY SAYING WHERE TO CHANGE THE LOCATION OF THE ADB FILE TO. Then he types (on the video, but not on his pc command prompt) "Type cd c:/android/platform-tools" (which doesn't exist as a file location - was that where the ADB files were meant to copied to????) whilst typing just "android/platform-tools" after the c:\Users\Francisco prompt which leads to an error message that he ignores and carries on talking about entering "ADB device". Honestly, why bother trying to wrap this up as a real tutorial, when it's just a Wondershare advert.
why don't you just show all the steps by typing the correct commands in the cmd? Instead you're typing random stuff in the cmd prompt, putting white text with the commands OVER it and also making it even more confusing by commenting the mess we're seeing on the screen

dont bother with anything else other than the mouse option, older phones gave you a usb to usb c adapter, i finally found mine (from an old phone) and attached a blue tooth mouse works like a dream seriously people only really realistic really real way :) god i am so glad it worked

since there was a problem with the 1st and 3rd method, i tried the 2nd one with the USB Mouse and it worked PERFECTLY fine. uncomplicated, efficient, simple. THANK YOU SO MUCH. i could unlock my phone with a broken screen, it literally saved my day, you have no idea. thank you!
What you can do is borrow or buy a similar phone and train on it with the pattern and a mouse, once you get good at it, get back and do it on your broken phone. In my country, if we purchase products online, we get the right to return the product without giving any reason during the first 14 days from purchase, and they will give the money back. So, once you finished training on the phone you bought and unlocked your real phone, you can send back the phone you just bought if a similar thing applies in your country, like it is for me with those 14 days. Or you can try using the Android Studio Virtual Device Manager and try on it the same Android version you have on the phone. But make sure to resize the screen of the Android virtual machine to the real size of your phone's screen, then you can start training with the mouse using the pattern.

I dropped my phone in water and the whole right side wasn't responding, of course then I couldn't unlock my phone. I used the adapter the google pixel came with and plugged my mouse in and it worked! THANK YOU!!
It would help if the command prompt screen you show in the video is actually logging correctly instead of getting ''androidplatfrom-tools '.androidplatfrom-tools' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.''? If your screen is dead and youre not sure ADB is enabled theres no guarantee this method would work right?
Its not gonna work, because when phone screen is broken.. phone is locked.. which means ADB device will be in offline mode.. phone won't accept any connection/commands from pc
What I need to know is how to do the 2nd one 2:08 with no screen on my phone. My screen is smashed and black.( ran over by a bus. Completely In operative screen. Phone still rings speakers are fine cameras are fine the screen has no touch response no light and no power. So when I connect my phone to the OTG cable all I see is a lock icon on the Television. But I cannot see the dots for the pattern or the mouse movements. They're happening( I tested it on the replacement phone To which I'm trying to send the data) , but they do not display on the TV screen. nothing will display until the phone is unlocked. Basically I'm trying to put in my pattern without seeing it.

I know I'm replying to an old post but... a possible solution would be to hook up a wired keyboard (or bluetooth but that didn't work on my Pixel 6 Pro) and use the number keys to enter your pin.
Your video save my life. One day I ended up breaking my screen so I took the passwords and facial recognition off. Deciding not to get it fixed that day, the next day locked myself out of my phone trying to get a password off for work. I freaked out and went in to panic attack mode cause I use my phone for work calls, emails, etc. and my personal stuff. When I googled how to use the phone and your video came up I was blown away! YOU SAVED MY PHONE AND I AM FOREVER GRATEFUL!
I had a situation where I did not have an adapter to connect the wireless mouse. However for anyone out there who happens to have a USB-C to USB-C cable and a PS5 controller as well, you can connect the Ps5 controller to the phone and use the center pad as a mouse!

unlocking the phone via samsung account doesnt bypass 'swipe to unlock' if you cant unlock the phone you cannot then connect to the pc with various apps and if the phone is not recognizing a mouse or keyboard try OTG adapter and if still not... then how to swipe to unlock its obviously on purpose that their is no button to simulate swipe to unlock so you are pressured to buying a new phone b4 u have time to repair
I know this is an old post but maybe you can try a corded mouse and swipe using the cursor? I had issues with my pixel 6 pro not recognizing my bluetooth mouse and ended up using an old corded keyboard.

Awe man you just saved me. I thought my phone was toast because the digitizer would not work on one of the numbers, to unlock my phone. the mouse option worked great for me thank you so much! My phone cracked and now the screen won't respond to any touch. Using the mouse I was able to at least recover any data and pictures that I needed to. Subed!

What was the point of using android studio??? when i am trying to change directory C:/android/platform-tools/ nothing is coming it says invalid directory .. and when i run adb devices nothing shows...i am trying to remove password from my phone because my screen is broken and i cannot run any type of transfer due to USB option for debugging not available

My phonescreen is completely black and so method 2 is unhelpful and method 3 doesnt work cause my wifi is turned off on the device so they are basically un-usable to me. method one seems promisiing but you dont explain it enough to figure out what you meant. the backgropund footage that you show is doing something completely different and you dont say where to move the files, you just say to move them. I know this is an old post but these problems are still relevant for people. I have a pixel 6 pro with a cracked screen, some numbers worked on the pad but not the important ones. I tried hooking up a bluetooth mouse but for that to work some advanced bluetooth debugging has to be activated in the settings. I found an old wired keyboard (Macally with the big number pad on the right) hooked it up and typed in the pin with the number pad. Worked! I then changed my pin to one that would work and no factory reset needed. SO, if you try to hook up a mouse and there's no cursor, get your self a wired device, mouse or keyboard.

I'm going to have to try the command prompt route as my screen is broken to the point of no picture, so the mouse would allow me to use the screen, but I wouldn't see what I'm doing. If I could see my screen, this would have been 100x easier. I've tried about 6 different things now and all require either my phone to be unlocked or to be able to see my screen. I have tried remote unlock already, but it says it's unable to unlock for some reason. Can't remote back up either. Have tried dex, but I'm guessing it requires you to hit some "allow" button to connect; once again, I can't see anything. I just tried using a USB-C to HDMI adapter with input for a mouse, but the TV screen shows the phone as being locked, so I can't put in my pin. It's just a gray screen with a padlock symbol and the time.

@@ibitorucookey-gam7503 It depends on what phone you have. I think the USB-C to HDMI route would have worked if I didn't have Samsung Dex enabled for my phone. If this feature wasn't enabled, it would have simply mirrored my screen to the TV and I could have put in my passcode. If you don't have a Samsung or if this feature is turned off, this is probably much easier. You have to be able to use the screen to use Dex on a computer as well. I was under a time constraint because I filed an insurance claim on the damaged phone and had already received the new one. I eventually ran out of time to try recovering my data and had to give up entirely and returned the phone to my carrier. Samsung was no help at all and my carrier didn't have any new answers either. If you have time and money, you might be able to hire a shop or some specialist to recover your data if the screen mirroring doesn't work. I lost many pictures and videos of my wife and baby daughter that I will never get back. Hopefully everything works out better for you.

Thanks for the video. I have a blacked-out screen. So I don't understand the first section - in your video description, your command prompt process is not the same as the text you say should be entered. I created a C/:android/platform-tools folder and copied the ".android" folder information from my user/name folder to this above folder - as I think this is what you are meaning? But at the command prompt is the error "ADB is not recognised as an internal or external command". So I'm a bit stuck. The only other android folder is in program files.

issue with the first option is my unlock was a pattern so typing in numbers does not work phone is blacked out so I can't do option 2 and I don't think I ever connected my phone to a samsung account for option 3
It did not worked for me, When I run this command "ADB shell input text 123456" I get the below error. "adb.exe: no devices/emulators found" . I think it happened because Debugging mode is not enabled in my phone which is normal for maximum Android phone until someone is developer. Do you think anyway Can can access mobile with broken screen without debugging mode enabled.
Any ideas on how to unlock/access/control a Pixel 6 Pro with non-functioning screen (totally blank)? The phone is still on and working - I can hear alerts come through and I get haptic feedback from the buttons on the side (like opening the camera app or engaging Google Assistant) I tried #1 but can't get the "adb" to see the device. #2 won't work because I can't see the screen.
You can enter your access pin using a wired keyboard. I have the same phone, dropped it and the damage created a dead space right over the #pad, I could still see the screen though and some of the screen responded to touch. I spoke with google and they wanted me to do a factory reset. I didn't want to do that so researched. People suggested the mouse method but using a bluetooth mouse with the 6 pro requires an advanced bluetooth debugging setting to be activated. mine wasn't. I had an old wired keyboard and was able to just type in the numbers. I'm assuming a wired mouse would work as well. After that though, best of luck, I have no idea what more can be done with a blank screen.

What I need to know is how to do the 2nd one 2:08 with no screen on my phone. My screen is smashed and black.( ran over by a bus. Completely In operative screen. Phone still rings speakers are fine cameras are fine the screen has no touch response no light and no power.
So when I connect my phone to the OTG cable all I see is a lock icon on the Television. But I cannot see the dots for the pattern or the mouse movements. They're happening( I tested it on the replacement phone To which I'm trying to send the data) , but they do not display on the TV screen. nothing will display until the phone is unlocked. Basically I'm trying to put in my pattern without seeing it.

I know I'm replying to an old post but... a possible solution would be to hook up a wired keyboard (or bluetooth but that didn't work on my Pixel 6 Pro) and use the number keys to enter your pin.
Your video save my life. One day I ended up breaking my screen so I took the passwords and facial recognition off. Deciding not to get it fixed that day, the next day locked myself out of my phone trying to get a password off for work. I freaked out and went in to panic attack mode cause I use my phone for work calls, emails, etc. and my personal stuff. When I googled how to use the phone and your video came up I was blown away!

I had a situation where I did not have an adapter to connect the wireless mouse. However for anyone out there who happens to have a USB-C to USB-C cable and a PS5 controller as well, you can connect the Ps5 controller to the phone and use the center pad as a mouse!

unlocking the phone via samsung account doesnt bypass 'swipe to unlock'
if you cant unlock the phone you cannot then connect to the pc with various apps
and if the phone is not recognizing a mouse or keyboard try OTG adapter and if still not... then how to swipe to unlock
its obviously on purpose that their is no button to simulate swipe to unlock so you are pressured to buying a new phone b4 u have time to repair

I know this is an old post but maybe you can try a corded mouse and swipe using the cursor? I had issues with my pixel 6 pro not recognizing my bluetooth mouse and ended up using an old corded keyboard.

What was the point of using android studio??? when i am trying to change directory C:/android/platform-tools/ nothing is coming it says invalid directory .. and when i run adb devices nothing shows...i am trying to remove password from my phone because my screen is broken and i cannot run any type of transfer due to USB option for debugging not available

What kind of phone do you have. I'm in the US with a fold and I don't see a unlock option . Just a lock option in Samsung
My phonescreen is completely black and so method 2 is unhelpful and method 3 doesnt work cause my wifi is turned off on the device so they are basically un-usable to me. method one seems promisiing but you dont explain it enough to figure out what you meant. the backgropund footage that you show is doing something completely different and you dont say where to move the files, you just say to move them. Please elaborate? and yes I tried downloading the DrFone software. I dont want to pay more for the software than it would be to replace the screen.

You can use a Bluetooth mouse, it just has to connect through a USB receiver which can be connected to a USB A to Type C dongle.

Thank you for the suggestions! I plugged in a wired mouse to my phone and it worked immediately. My husband, a web developer, had just told me "oh that won't work." Then he proceeded to laugh his ass off and take a picture of me successfully using a mouse with my phone.
I know this is an old post but these problems are still relevant for people. I have a pixel 6 pro with a cracked screen, some numbers worked on the pad but not the important ones. I tried hooking up a bluetooth mouse but for that to work some advanced bluetooth debugging has to be activated in the settings. I found an old wired keyboard (Macally with the big number pad on the right) hooked it up and typed in the pin with the number pad. Worked! I then changed my pin to one that would work and no factory reset needed. SO, if you try to hook up a mouse and there's no cursor, get your self a wired device, mouse or keyboard.

my Samsung S6 phone fell down multiple times in a very short distance and it's having issues restarting when on charge. When there is no charge it would not start.

I'm going to have to try the command prompt route as my screen is broken to the point of no picture, so the mouse would allow me to use the screen, but I wouldn't see what I'm doing. If I could see my screen, this would have been 100x easier. I've tried about 6 different things now and all require either my phone to be unlocked or to be able to see my screen. I have tried remote unlock already, but it says it's unable to unlock for some reason. Can't remote back up either. Have tried dex, but I'm guessing it requires you to hit some "allow" button to connect; once again, I can't see anything. I just tried using a USB-C to HDMI adapter with input for a mouse, but the TV screen shows the phone as being locked, so I can't put in my pin. It's just a gray screen with a padlock symbol and the time.

@@ibitorucookey-gam7503 It depends on what phone you have. I think the USB-C to HDMI route would have worked if I didn't have Samsung Dex enabled for my phone. If this feature wasn't enabled, it would have simply mirrored my screen to the TV and I could have put in my passcode. If you don't have a Samsung or if this feature is turned off, this is probably much easier. You have to be able to use the screen to use Dex on a computer as well. I was under a time constraint because I filed an insurance claim on the damaged phone and had already received the new one. I eventually ran out of time to try recovering my data and had to give up entirely and returned the phone to my carrier. Samsung was no help at all and my carrier didn't have any new answers either. If you have time and money, you might be able to hire a shop or some specialist to recover your data if the screen mirroring doesn't work. I lost many pictures and videos of my wife and baby daughter that I will never get back. Hopefully everything works out better for you.

So I don't understand the first section - in your video description, your command prompt process is not the same as the text you say should be entered. I created a C/:android/platform-tools folder and copied the ".android" folder information from my user/name folder to this above folder - as I think this is what you are meaning? But at the command prompt is the error "ADB is not recognised as an internal or external command". So I'm a bit stuck. The only other android folder is in program files.

It did not worked for me, When I run this command "ADB shell input text 123456" I get the below error.
"adb.exe: no devices/emulators found" . I think it happened because Debugging mode is not enabled in my phone which is normal for maximum Android phone until someone is developer. Do you think anyway Can can access mobile with broken screen without debugging mode enabled.
Any ideas on how to unlock/access/control a Pixel 6 Pro with non-functioning screen (totally blank)? The phone is still on and working - I can hear alerts come through and I get haptic feedback from the buttons on the side (like opening the camera app or engaging Google Assistant)
I tried #1 but can't get the "adb" to see the device. #2 won't work because I can't see the screen.
You can enter your access pin using a wired keyboard. I have the same phone, dropped it and the damage created a dead space right over the #pad, I could still see the screen though and some of the screen responded to touch. I spoke with google and they wanted me to do a factory reset. I didn't want to do that so researched. People suggested the mouse method but using a bluetooth mouse with the 6 pro requires an advanced bluetooth debugging setting to be activated. mine wasn't. I had an old wired keyboard and was able to just type in the numbers. I'm assuming a wired mouse would work as well. After that though, best of luck, I have no idea what more can be done with a blank screen.
