@@dralgon1752 Of course Toronto and Vancouver are worse, but it's all relative. If you can't house the workers who carry the economy, you can't expect growth.
@@person-yu8cu i know how it feels ,i am 30 plus and still live with my parents ,can not save enough for a condo with food and stuffs so expensive .
@@dralgon1752 That's really unfortunate. I hope you can find your way to thrive. You might consider joining some tenants union or other collective, which can boost spirits and material resources.

The government need to introduce rent control, stop foreign buyers, and pause immigration, otherwise Canadians will continue to suffer
Immigrants is good especially in a aging population like canada. In 10-20 yrs from now lots of people will retire. Thus less people are working. If not for immigrants. Who pays for the seniors pension benefits? ...Workers that pay taxes.
I do agree with foreign buyers though. I feel like they should make a law for the first time buyer so that people buying their first home could afford.
@@lalagirl211 wrong. The biggest issues everyone faces is the cost of living. Immigrants will only make that far worse because the rate of immigration far exceeds housing being built. Also we need a break, Canada has taken in consistently the most immigrants than any developed country over the decades aside from American who has 10x the population.

maybe in vancouver or toronto ,property in calgary is still consider very reasonable

with price and income ratio ,calgary is still a very cheap market to buy condos or homes ,buying a 250k condo is actually cheaper than renting now .
