These jam tracks are so great for doing otherwise boring exercises. I'm using this to practice playing Am triad inversions all over the neck, and you can actually make it sound musical.

I agree. I was just playing the A pentatonic in using the "box" shape and doing some slow walk ups from the C on the A string. I actually sounded not terrible.

Is the F# in the scale supposed to be an F?
Indeed. A(m) is relative 6 of C.
At the part were the song plays Am for an extended period and then plays the D major (that appears in brackets) the song switches to an A Dorian, which has an F#.
It uses a common Dorian feel of a II-IV chord sequence at that stage. It’s best felt like a change of key temporarily. When the Fmaj comes back in it’s back to an A minor.

Hey bro 25 year bass Veteran nice jam bro ski, this track really leaves the entirety of the scales ultra slick on all octaves!! Love the harmony/melody and the emotion is just as varietal, this song cud literally be about anything and it wud def stick as the emotion!! Great music wizard skills muh guy!! Keep up the work, wish u cud hear what I tapped into with this and wrapped this lil music war up with this bomb ass bass riff plus lyrics and guitar!! And a couple more cymbal taps on a couple different sounding splash’s and pakaah’s tand it really sizzle the sauce my good sir

when I play the A minor scale on this track, sometimes it doesn't sound good. why ?
Some questions are. Do you know when you are out of tune? Do you know how to properly play a bass line to blend with a song?
Hey man, playing the a minor pentatonic, outlined in the upper right hand corner of the video: A C D E G. Also, you’re probably already doing this, but be sure to focus on your rhythm. Even if all you’re doing is just hitting the root (A) in different octaves, it’s probably going to sound good if you’re doing something interesting rhythmically with it 😊
