Im confused by what you mean? LIRR wouldn't store anything in Croton Harmon unless you mean that MNR is still using M3s and LIRR isn't. They have enough of thr new M9s that they don't need m3s. MNR didn't order and will not be ordering M9s in the foreseeable future
@@ghostengineer Thanks for that info about the M9s. It was always said that MNR was getting them but your the Second or Third source to say they aren't. Thanks.
@@Jornado MNR planned on it but decided to shelve that idea for awhile since we need new dual mode locomotives badly. I'd say the m3s have at least 10 more years. The mnr m3s are in better shape than LIRR

MNR M3s are in better shape, and also MN don't have a train rolling around thats been in a mass shooting.
Personally, I think MNR is overall better. With equipment being in much better shape.
