HOW TO MAKE A SHORT FILM WITH NO BUDGET - PART 01

How to make a short film with no budget, part ONE, is a step by step of tips for new filmmakers that wish to make their first short film without expending too much money (or no money at all) to make this dream come true.
Thru a guide starting with finding the seed IDEA using what we have around us, at our disposal and writing the screenplay. The tips are aiming to give anyone the chance to make their own stories and be able to share with their friends and the world. In this video we focus at the creation of a simple story, so anyone can make it without expending too much money.
The biggest tip in this video is making your first short films without a sound, exploring only the possibilities within the frame and make cinema with moving images. The challenge give us the opportunity to work with shots that will tell the story without having to explain thru dialog.
Remember to write in a logical order, so you have a clear path to follow -- EX: SARA opens the drawer and gets a knife. ( the other way around would sound strange in a screenplay -- SARA takes a knife from the drawer -- it has a mix up order and doesn’t help your reader and your crew.
Examples of short films appear such as AMBLIN (1969), director Steven Spielberg, THE BIG SHAVE (1967), director Martin Scorsese and BEDHEAD (1991), director Robert Rodriguez. Also is shown a small scene of THE LODGER (1927) from director Alfred Hitchcock. Hitchcock was a big advocate of the silent era of cinema. He believed that the sound came too early on the movies and the CINEMA missed a great opportunity to develop more of its cinematic approach.
