Cammy, not only are you full of information and skill. You are animated for the children to be interested. Truly shows the love of your family and the support of your farm workers. Admirable!
Brilliant love this wee channel I so look forward to seeing it and what's happening, he takes all in his stride never seems to get flustered and he's great with the kids and Lizzy is one amazing woman out working lovely hard working family. ❤
That was one job I could never do shearing, yet you make it look so easy. I loved the way you talked during your demo. There was enough information to keep adults interested, yet entertaining for the kids. You are an amazing sheep farmer, educator, father, and entertainer. Thanks for brightening up my days. Love from Alberta 🇨🇦
Cheeky lamb at the start. What a great demo for the kids. You kept them interested till the end. You have a way with children. Gee, that was a big 🐏 at the end. The kids loved him. Lizzy is just amazing. Hope Bonnie is doing well & sleeping for you ❤️🤗🙏
Every time I visit this channel (as the bell goes off i do that pretty regularly lol), I always find myself damn confuddled as to why Cammy and his fam don't have 1 million+ subs. If ever a channel deserved it, it's this one. Craziness!! Congrats and Welcome to lil Bonnie Wilson!! Hope all's going well for all x
My two favourite breeds from my childhood in the Pentlands Leicesters and the indomitable Scottish Black face, thank you! So lucky you have electric shears I remember when it was hand held clippers! Your vlog gives me a little bit of calm and memories of home. Thank you
Aww I was hoping for a quick peek at Bonnie but I'm happy with what you gave us! Looks like Lizzie packed a lovely picnic lunch! Thanks to your editor for a great vlog! 💕💕
Great video! A little bit of everything! Stop apologizing for all the effort that you put into your vlogs! Loved the flowers on the hedge rows.. looking over the fields. Trying to catch the sheep in the woods! You do such a nice job with the kids at the demos! Love watching it all! Thanks for sharing! Love from the USA!
When I was camping on a working sheep farm in the lakes with the kids (now both adults!) they had the shearers in. The three of us were entranced!! Well done for inspiring the next generation
Cammy it is so lovely to see you and Lizzy the boys and Marissa as well! It looks so lush and green. The video was not at all jumpy for me. I could have easily watched another hour. The ram and horns in your gut was suspenseful to watch. I read below that your baby girl is born! congratulations to you and Lizzy.
"A fankle" is a new one for me. Cammy, I'm awed by your calmness with that huge ram & soothing him, all whilst keeping up a running commentary! Multi-tasking every which way!! Your poor back! You made me appreciate Charlie's ambidextrous ability (Sandi's shearer).A real asset if you can do it.Thank you for your demo! Good job!💕💕
As an avid hand knitter, I'm astounded at how little a fleece makes for the farmer...totally disproportionate to what we knitters pay for BFL and Shetland yarn! Somebody somewhere is adding some mark up!
@@lorrainehamilton5051 I 'found' Cammy thru Sandi Brock's Sheepishly Me. Sandi has stubbornly persisted at finding local people who would wash her fleeces, card & spin them into wool yarns. There's intensive labour involved. Too bad UK has almost lost that industry. Too bad so many fleeces go straight to landfill. 💕💕
@lorrainehamilton5051 Yes it's terrible the price we pay for wool and the price the farmers get..just like milk though..think of the price of a pint of milk but the farmer gets pennies..its disgusting..no wonder Farms and farmers are a dying breed..they work so damn hard for little recompense..
Congratulations to you both on the birth of your Daughter, love the way the boys are experiencing The Sheep Game on a daily basis it will serve them well and give them amazing memories.
Wonderful work showing shearing and teaching the kids so much at the same time. All explained in language a very young farmer could understand. Excellent volunteer work. I hope you sell a million sweatshirts. The hectic pace was good to see the real tempo of your work day. Thank you for all (and to your editor too). CH
Life is hectic Cammy but, exceptionally for farmers! Really enjoyed the shearing demo and the way you commentate without missing a beat, you’re a charmer!💕🇨🇦
OMG I spoke too soon. Those massive horns could so easily do serious injury. oh, my heart's in my mouth! Who knew sheep-shearing could be so spine-tingling edge-of-seat drama?!!💕💕
Great work with the display shearing. From someone who does display shearing for a farm park, you have my up most respect for shearing rams on display 👏🏼
So much beautiful landscape. And the trees oh my. And well all the Rams were so wonderful I think getting their spa day. Happy to get rid of that weight. And the big horn fellow he really made me smile. Gotta give these boys credit for their patience as well and just take it with stride with a lot of excited little and big people. I love shearing season so much too! Oh my gosh Josh so proud of that lost nail. And thats the best way to deal with it. Make it a part of life. Growing up. hugs
Great video! I wish I could have taken my kids to a demonstration like that when they were young, but there wasn't anything like that here. You're a good teacher, Cammy. 👍
I agree! Cammy is such a natural communicator, easily adapting his banter to the age of the folks he's talking to. I love listening to his accent and humor 😊
I don't know what you're diet consists of Cammy, but if you can do all that in one day, it's working well. Great video. Tough crowd at the shearing demonstration but great to see thank you. Good to see more well known companies advertising on here and Fed by Farmers. That farm's not far off 😊
You all do it all! I love that you are teaching the younger generation, your spirit and hard work are so appreciated..I went down the sheep game rabbit hole and am glad I did. I am vegan but appreciate your care of the animals and commitment. Congrats Cammy, Lizzy and Jock on welcoming wee little Bonnie lass. Greetings from an e pat in Ontario, Canada 🇬🇧 🇨🇦 ❤
Scotland is looking particularly beautiful this morning. I’d love to see Sandi get a couple of Texel rams, that would change up things in her barn. You’re a natural with the demo, I love watching you with kids especially. You talk to them like they’re asking smart questions and don’t talk down to them.
I grew up in northern Michigan, USA. Love watching you shear. Brings back memories from when I was small in school, about 5 years old. We would have a field trip to a farm to see sheep shearing.
Another great video!! Today I helped skirt 19 babydoll fleeces, I couldn’t have done that without all I’ve learned from you. It is just a small farm on Long Island, in NY- I was so excited that I could share what you’ve taught us all!!
A small suggestion from a retired teacher - try and set up your sheep so that your body isn’t between the sheep and the audience! You rotated him on his bum for the second half of the process, and I could see the kids change positions since they could see a lot better. Excellent banter narration for your audience - well done!
Can I teach you something? Did you notice how every sheep is shorn in an identical choreographed set of moves that enable the shearer to keep the sheep comfortable as he rotates the sheep in a way that he can reach all parts of the sheep with the hand piece …he has to work within and around the down tube hanging from the shearing head…shearing technique has been developed within these constraints …probably easier to reposition the audience
Fabulous demonstration the kids loved it. Bet the sheep were happy too to get those thick fleeces off. Cammy you and Lizzie are both hard workers I hope one day you are rewarded with your own farm. Jock and Angus are simply adorable, Marlissa is a gem of a a young woman. Hope to see you at Dalscone soon, hope your taking the family.
Thank you Cammy I loved the shearing demo I hope I get to see one of yours one day. You're so good with the kids and all the information you gave them and a sweet naming of the ram. Great to see Lizzy and the boys and Marissa, tho we know it was a week or so ago. A great insite into your daily work. Thanks 💜
Good morning from Montreal QC Canada and welcome back to Cammy !! .. and as always beautiful sharing adventure documentary updated resume countryside content video and the filming edition settings presentation looks spectacular gorgeous and stunningly beautiful views and as always great upload and share and you doing such an amazing job .. keep it up and a big fat thanks again and looking forward to more adventures from your video channel .. take care of yourself over there and stay safe my friend .. TQSM
Hello. Great to see You back I hope all is doing great with the new Daughter. This must be a old video from before you & your wife had the had the baby. I never got to see people Shearering Sheep at all. But then I guess Not many farmers have Sheep here in Wisconsin.
Hi Cammy ,absolutely loved this video lots of content ( your living the dream with your beautiful family )notwithstanding it’s clear to see this is a hard work indeed but a pleasure to watch every time . Eva 👍🏼👍🏼
A boy Cammy another good video 👍. I thought you were taking a chance shearing the big rams in front of an audience. One of them big boyos could have decided to kick out & embarrass ya 😂.
Lizzy, I fell for ya with babies wanting to cook a little longer, it should be evection time for her... lol.... My 2 girls came early (1 wk. and 3 wks.), and my boy decide to cook longer, but yours really like it in there... Time to come out baby.... Cammy nice shearing jobs. 💖💖💖
Cammy, is it easier to shear in short pants? Or does the length of pants depend solely on the temperature? Congratulations to the entire family on welcoming wee Bonnie. Thank you for sharing! God bless your life’s journey.
Thank you cammy & don’t sheep go through a lot either the crows are trying to peck their eyes out or the maggots are literally eating them alive not to mention getting chased & bitten by dogs the poor things
Hello from Wisconsin, USA. Congratulations on your new daughter! I hope mother and baby are doing well. I have a question, why do you not shear your sheep earlier in the season? It seems this would help reduce the need for the insecticides to prevent fly strike. Great video.
I was watching some old videos of Fed by Farming & your chat made me wonder whether it's financially more sensible for Cammy & Lizzie to remain unmarried? 💕💕
Funnily enough I was spinning some bfl wool while watching this video! Good to remember where the wool comes from and the economics of it. The proportion of what I pay for dyed fibre (admittedly small batch hand dyed) that the farmer gets is tiny and it seems unfair :/
Cammy, not only are you full of information and skill. You are animated for the children to be interested. Truly shows the love of your family and the support of your farm workers. Admirable!
Yup, Cammy is quite a performer!
I couldn't have said it better!
Brilliant love this wee channel I so look forward to seeing it and what's happening, he takes all in his stride never seems to get flustered and he's great with the kids and Lizzy is one amazing woman out working lovely hard working family. ❤

Loved the video! You do put on a great shearing show. Love to Lizzie and sweet baby Bonnie! XXX
Well done handling those big rams. Hope Lizzy and you wee Bonnie girl are doing well.
Cammy it is so lovely to see you and Lizzy the boys and Marissa as well! It looks so lush and green. The video was not at all jumpy for me. I could have easily watched another hour. You are so good with all of the kiddos. I could watch this all day.

Going on a lamb hunt, gives new meaning to "like a lamb lost in the woods". I just love your buoyant personality.❤❤❤
You are quite the showman Cammy! Love how the adults kept the small kids attention on the demonstration. Lovely life.
Love how you interact with the crowd during your shearing demo’s Cammy, you’re a natural..👏, hope the family are all keeping well…❤
You’re an excellent teacher and so entertaining for the children ❤
Wonderful ambassador for your career!
How’s the baby doing I hope she’s sleeping well for you all are the boys loving her❤

"My job's done" Is that a sly reference to you having sired 3 babies & that's enough?? 🤣🤣I'm sure Lizzie's feeling that even more!!😊💕💕
O absolutely love the one that you sheared with the big horns. He is amazing. Great job with the sheep. 😅
Life is hectic Cammy but, exceptionally for farmers! Really enjoyed the shearing demo and the way you commentate without missing a beat, you’re a charmer!💕🇨🇦

You're a good teacher, Cammy. 👍
Nice job entertaining the kids and wrangling the sheep ❤😊
I could just listen to Cammy tell stories, talk, teach, complain, laugh, play with the kids, talk to the dogs, ALL day long!!!
I agree! Cammy is such a natural communicator, easily adapting his banter to the age of the folks he's talking to. I love listening to his accent and humor 😊
Hi Cammy and family. Shearing time❣️👍 You did a great job of shearing, as always❤️💞👍
I don't know what you're diet consists of Cammy, but if you can do all that in one day, it's working well. Great video. Tough crowd at the shearing demonstration but great to see thank you. Good to see more well known companies advertising on here and Fed by Farmers. That farm's not far off 😊
love that you shear the sheep in the field!
What a great video! Excellent demo, you had the audience captivated! You’re a great people person. ❤❤
I love watching Cammy shear because he NEVER draws blood, Best shearing 🥰

Busy times. New baby has arrived and the shearing / show season is here. Hopefully Lizzie is doing well and getting enough rest time.
Found myself checking the Crystalyx level as we passed 🤭
Me too🤣🤣🤣🤣❤️🐑
Me three. 😉
What a wonderful video! You really entertained these kids! Quite the banter, they loved it!❤❤❤

I'm glad there were subtitles for this stream, because I couldn't hear anything over the kids in the audience 😅❣️
So cute the way the children were all watching you sheer with so much concentration
You really are a wonder with children ❤

How are Lizzy and Bonnie doing? That woman is a keeper, Cammie.❤❤❤
When you should be doing the dishes, but Cammy has brought out a new video... Excellent timing...
Love all the Hawthorne trees are in bloom
Brilliant video Cammy the children loved your shearing 👌
Jesus I nearly forgot congratulations on the birth of your baby girl 👌
Great vlog. So busy, don't apologise, you work hard and it's good to see the different things you do. Love seeing the family 😊👍🐑🤩
A boy Cammy another good video 👍.
I thought you were taking a chance shearing the big rams in front of an audience. One of them big boyos could have decided to kick out & embarrass ya 😂.
Congratulations on your new baby 👶
That was wonderful. You are so good at the demo's. Have a great weekend.

Cammy love all your videos. Keep posting.
Fabulous video Cammy and interesting too thank you.❤️🇦🇺🏴
This must have been right before Lizzy gave birth. Her belly has dropped. She is really amazing. Working all the way through.
Beautiful family and farm.
Great job demonstrating That Scottish ram was gorgeous though. Even if you were living dangerously with those horns
Love watching the kids excitement
Thanks
Cammy you are SHCH a Showman! ❤️
Great to see a little bit of everything!
Loved the demo footage. Are the sheep more on edge when there's an audience?
Hi, I'm new to your channel the Hoof GP sent me, and I must say I enjoyed your videos, so I subscribed.❤
Thanks Cammy for another great video
Cracking video as always. How is little baby bonnie doing
Thank you cammy & don’t sheep go through a lot either the crows are trying to peck their eyes out or the maggots are literally eating them alive not to mention getting chased & bitten by dogs the poor things
Dang! Jock lost a toenail! He’s a tough little boy!❤❤❤
He had to go to Emerg (is it A & E in Scotland?) for shot of local anesthetic & stitches! Brave wee lad! 💕💕
Hello from Wisconsin, USA. Congratulations on your new daughter! I hope mother and baby are doing well. I have a question, why do you not shear your sheep earlier in the season? It seems this would help reduce the need for the insecticides to prevent fly strike. Great video.
Well done...those rams looked as if you gave them an inch...they would have couped you over🤣
I was watching some old videos of Fed by Farming & your chat made me wonder whether it's financially more sensible for Cammy & Lizzie to remain unmarried? 💕💕
My fave when cam gets the gun out 💪🏻😍
Nice gun show, Cammy!
Take some keeping up with big Viking 🤣 living the dream always enjoyed the video
Lovely mix
Hectic is my normal. I relate. Those flies are intense. Take care.
Funnily enough I was spinning some bfl wool while watching this video! Good to remember where the wool comes from and the economics of it. The proportion of what I pay for dyed fibre (admittedly small batch hand dyed) that the farmer gets is tiny and it seems unfair :/
Fantastic video!
Great video! Thank you
Maybe just carry several cans of blue spay around with ya😆🤗
Amazing video as always Cammy💜
I get £10 per kilo for my Castlemilk Moorit wool and we get roughly 1kg off each sheep
Did you leave the wool from the sheep you sheared in the field out in the field? Or did you bring it in?
