    The 60,000 seat capacity is not enough!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I realize that this is the average of tickets sold, but this area can and has held more in fans. A 75,000 capacity stadium is the ideal number for a team with the history of the Buffalo 🦬 Bills! If the smaller capacity stadium is built, then the fans will definitely end up paying much more in ticket prices.

Argo's, er...Bills, and the NFL going to take your money, break your hearts, and then send in the P.R. tools to tell you how the move to Toronto will actually benefit Bills fans. Get ready. Since we have to pay for some ot most of the stadium cost, I wish they would actually poll people in the area to determine what stadium would actually work for the area. I really think we need a 68k to 70k retractable roof stadium. I mean if our taxes go up because if it, what is the difference between having to pay 1.4 Billion and 2 Billion? I would rather have a stadium that can be used year round, not price fans out being one of the smallest stadiums in the league and be something fans actually want. This whole thing reaks of NFL and Rodger Goodell strong arming the Pegula's into building a new stadium that no one wants.

    Typical short sighted proposal. Explain to me how the Raiders stadium cost 1.8 billion with a roof and 3x as many skyboxes, more seats and more bells and whistles but it will cost @ least 1.9 billion for an open air stadium Downtown . That's BS. Always they talk about " infrastructure improvements " Been to Baltimore Cincy , Cleveland, Indy,Pittsburgh, Chicago and ALL of them have way more people and I didn't see a crazy amount of "infrastructure improvements". You need a few on /off ramps. People here think you need to add 4 lanes to the 190 to get to the stadium quicker. Common sense knows there will be horrible traffic if you stick 70k people going to 1 place. Have some patience or spend a few hrs DT after the game till traffic dies down.

    • @rjmelville8
      @rjmelville8 2 роки тому

      Exactly! I would rather have a 2 Billion dollar stadium that's as nice as Las Vegas rather than a 1.4B that's worse then what we have now.
      And then it's only going to be 60K?! There is almost that many season ticket holders now. They could easily keep it around the same capacity of what we have now, even in the drought they sold out almost every game.

    Wind is the #1 enemy and it must be mitigated to the greatest extent possible. We have one of the best QBs in the NFL. Why the hell should he be playing in the cyclone winds of WNY 8+ games per year if we don't have to make him do that? If they can engineer an open stadium to mitigate the WNY winds, great! Cold isn't a problem. Snow isn't a problem. Those things get the most play in the media about why it's hard to play in Buffalo but they're NOT a problem. The wind is a VERY BIG problem. The football we've endured on particularly windy fall and early winter days in WNY is hard to watch at times. We have a high flying offense. I don't care what they do with this stadium, but please, please, please to the people making decisions... Focus on limiting the wind factor!

I say everyone goes in 50-50 and we get back to loving football. Think ahead....all the tax dollars lost, by having the Pegulas now own the stadium, would hurt the area far more than the taxes used to build a new stadium.
