I have the 400 version of reel with Suffix 60lb line on a St. Croix Legend Tournament medium heavy power fast action muskie rod. I am the same way using left hand reeling bait casting as I do spin cast reels. I can do either but prefer using left hand for both. Good job on video and info. Happy fishing.
I have not used it in saltwater and if I understand the break down right the HD is just the beefier series and the HSL just stands for High Speed Left handed and the P is for the power handle. Hopefully that helps?
@@DWSOutdoors Yes, if you fish as often as you do, but I fish with my baitcaster once or twice a year, so that's how it's lasted me over 20 years! Sure it doesn't have all that fancy braking technology to it, but it'll work, until I do save up for a new one some day!
Can you plz look at upgrading your camera in your vids. You will be doing yourself a favor. You get out what you put into it. Other than that nice content!

WHAT!!!! Dude you scored BIG!
What’s the difference between a hd and a hsl, and have you used this saltwater at all?

Nice looking reel. A little too pricy for me, but I'm glad you like buying quality things!
I’ll put it this way… It’s 100% worth it to save your money for a while to get one! Not a waste of money at all 👊🏻🎣
