- Chime continues to be a popular online bank in 2024, but there are a few reasons why I stopped using my Chime account. For that people that says that Chime is not paying the 100 for getting friends into downloading Chime, I did get paid as soon as I added my own money to the app. You can't get the 100 without having at least 200 in chime account. If that its not the problem then I don't know.
Man honestly It's super hard to review for credit cards now because it's running the same problem that smartphone tab where all the reviews are about people who have small businesses and live in houses and shit and there really need to be reviews for just the average person who's just using it for purchases like food and groceries.

I think you were over reacting when you said it was a "scam" that chimes credit builder card just because it didnt offer cash back or points. Lol thats not a scam that just the terms of chimes credit card.
What if I just want to use it to rebuild my credit? Would you recommend using the chime credit builder?

Yes don't listen to this idiot @ifudont I didn't have nothing in my name cuz I always just buy it straight out so I never did payments I just buy it so I didn't have much of a credit score I got their card and your credit score goes up based on how much money you spend a month So my credit score was 560 and 1 month It went up to 680 The more you spend the more it goes up It definitely helped me Right now I'm sitting at 738

Chime hasn't paid my roommate for 3 people he referred. They owe him 300$ but will never pay. They also haven't paid the other people either. So the whole thing is a scam. They also haven't sent my debit card and it's going on 2 months.
It took me a year to get my card multiple calls 😂 I only keep it now as my wife won’t leave them

They have to get 500 deposited in the first 30 days of creating the account in order to receive any beneifts idk bout the other issues I've had chime since 2017 and have never had an issue it kinda sounds like yall r just tards who can't use a simple app but hey I could be wrong

If u put money on your card in the balance is low would it go through though like for example say if u had money coming in but your balance is negative will that payment come through
Its a simple math, if you put money but you have negative balance, so the amount of money that will hit your account will minus the negative balance that you have on your account, since in the first place you spend that money, and that's the reason why you have negative balance, is it hard for you to understand?

No chime won't pay you for referrals. They say they will give you a $100 but they will never pay. My roommate referred 14 people and never received a dime
Damn, this video is an absolute bummer. I've been wanting to watch the trailer for the Japanese movie chime which was released in 2024, thanks to stuff like this the trailer will probably be forever buried.
You will have to claim that 100 dollar sign on bonus on your taxes. It's not actually a gift.
Is it worth it if I just want it to make international purchases that my main account restricts from making?
What kind of international purchases? Why won’t your “main account” allow you to do it?
My chime card has a Your Pay feature. That estimates how much you can borrow from your paycheck depending on how much you get paid. It's something that was added randomly I did not sign up or request it. Of course whatever you borrow is automatically taken out of your check when you get paid. My problem I've been having is that the feature has not worked for about 3 weeks. I've talked to multiple Chime agents. And each one has told me something different. I've been told the feature is going through maintenance and it will be up in 2 days. Then I was told to uninstall and then reinstall the chime. And relink my payroll provider and that should fix the problem. That didn't work either. Now it's saying to refresh but the refresh is in black. So when I press refresh nothing happens. Anybody else having this issue?
Sucks it’s not 2 days early because they don’t pay you until late at night which leaves you having ti wait till the the next morning like I’m not gonna wanna shopping late night why can’t I get my cash 48 hours early instead of 30 hours smh I think I’m gonna go with another card I’m sick of chime

This card is targeting low income folks. "Get paid 2 days early" lol- uh. So.... that just means that your next payday is still 14 or 15 day away--- the EXACT same as everyone else. Low income folks don't understand this, so they fall for it. 🤣
I don't see how it's targeting low income people. Nobody is forcing low income people to use chime. My job pays weekly on Fridays. Because I have chime I get paid on Wednesdays.

Orthodox Muslims avoid taking and paying interest, it goes against the law of God aka Allah. In my book there are no cons with Chime. Will check out your review of Sofi but I can tell in advance you likely prefer it more cause it pays interest.

You know what they say. If its to good bectrue then maybe it isn't. I was having trouble my account and chime couldn't slove the issue and got mad at me snd started harassing me and saying things what they do my mom etc. Very unprofessional sounds like indian scammers. Glad i close my account and with chime I never receive early payday. More like delay payday. I sign up for chime hoping I get 2 days early but nope not the case. I got pay 3 weeks late instead to were when I never had chime but just a regular bank account I got paid 1 day early. Glad I close my chime account. I will be reporting them.
