A 13 yr. relationship is nothing to sneeze at…its’s so wonderful to see. You are both lucky & blessed to have each other…💞. I believe Lola is a male. I’ve had two cocktails, and the males have the bright colored cheek feathers, and the females have lighter colored cheek feathers. Also, the females don’t whistle or talk as loudly. My male whistled the tune to The Andy Griffith show 😁

Yeah. It’s a he,. Cockatiels are pretty easy to tell. Coloring and behavior. Sometimes young babies are hare to tell because the babies don’t have their big boy feathers yet.
What a coincidence! Sometimes when I sing, people around me also put in their ear plugs. I guess they don't want to get too much of a GOOD thing.
