- The Master Chief and the Arbiter are forced to backtrack through the port of Voi after a Flood-infested Covenant cruiser crashes nearby and a massive outbreak spawns from its wake.
Fueled by the corpses of the Humans and Covenant killed in the previous battle.....and the weary and confused UNSC defenders and civilians it encounters....the Flood threatens to consume all of Africa....and Earth.

I really like how he takes care of the NPCs, it's something I always do until I give him the best weapons and a 30-minute mission could take me 1:30 to do. Like, you deserve heaven.

I just leave them to their luck out of frustration of them walking in front of me when i'm shooting, not letting me walk backwards, not taking cover and NOT FREAKING SHOOTING PRIORITY TARGETS. Hadn't even considered giving them power weapons due to their perceived uselesness.

I'm glad someone else noticed that too. I recognized the "running ahead of everyone to keep the NPCs alive, getting swarmed by enemies, and dying" (...well, not that Spartans ever die...)

@@pvt.jonwallace Yea it would be dope for a squad to pull him out then see the Civi's and Marines exfil via Pelican as you provide overwatch on their extraction. Totally wish they could Mod that in some way. Oh btw the Spec Ops Elites dropped in are absolutely badass

It still says NMPD on his uniform. I'm guessing that Voi became a evacuation site for anyone who escaped New Mombasa. Looking at concept art for this level, the player would have to go into the city proper and confront a citywide infection. I'm guessing they had to cut it back due to time constraints. @@24Pudders

This mod… actual master piece! I really wish these mods where for Xbox. Floodgate was always one of my favorite missions in halo 3 and to think this mission couldn’t get any better? this mod executes and then some. To the character designs, all the way down to the smallest detail of just a simple cutscenes. I think this, no I know this mod is one of the best the Halo community has ever crafted! I just wish I had a PC so I can be blessed as you where my good sir

Bro the fact 343 cut support to MCC without giving you guys mod support is borderline criminal. Bethesda at least have old gen consoles limited mod access....
My favorite thing to do in the games was giving marines or civilians the biggest weapons I could. Usually because when given explosives they're both amazing snipers as well as team killing chaos lovers

Always hate that even if you shot infection forms off of him, he’s scripted to turn if any infection forms in the room are still alive after a few seconds.
That’s super cool that the overhaul added Combat-Carrier grunt forms. Lore friendly and fixes something else that bugged me, H3 infection forms are harmless to grunts and jackals now because they traded their “chewing” attack from the first two games for infecting compatible characters.
Hey, at the beginning, if you throw a incedairy grenade at the top of the building (the small one with the smaller marine squad) it will basically spawn kill all the infection forms, and you can focus on trying to save some of the lower marines, saved 3 of the lower marines on my best run.

@pvt.jonwallace Oh no, you're good. I believe it's because of the longer video format. They clump the ads together more... and add more of them.
ESPECIALLY if you are using the app on a console.

Theres a reason grunts were never infected. Because their simply too small 😏
I honestly call BS on that....if outpost discovery is anything to go by, humans are WAY smaller in size than jackals and weaker physically than grunts with their armored exoskeletons.
They can rip you aparts with their bare hands in lore, why would they Flood not turn dozens of dead cannon fodder into agressive combat forms?

@@pvt.jonwallacegrunts become the carrier forms. You can tell by their legs, also their methane pack is why the carrier forms explode im pretty sure. Spv3 is the only mod that shows this imo with the infected grunts instantly becoming carrier forms and the jackals become their own combat forms, like the brutes
