Thank you for taking the time to educate us homeowners! I feel so blessed to have found your channel and learned so much about crawlspace maintenance and overall health. I live in vancouver BC Canada and wish you guys had a branch of ninjas here. Keep up the great work 💪
Your videos helped me not only tackle the crawl space during my “due diligence” period on a recent home contract, we decided to pass on the home since it was a hot mess! We will be building instead and I will be watching anything related to building a crawl space. Thanks again for your helpful content.
This is THE BEST explanation of this subject ive ever seen! I've been researching this for years for home protection and my woodshop. I don't like dealing with this but this is so important to know, if anyone owns a home. Thank you so much for putting this together!!!
Hi Michael, enjoy your videos. Professional, great info delivered in a clear concise manner and easy to understand, thank you. I've reached to other professionals with no luck. Do you know what kind of wood rot fungus becomes a light cream/white thread like body burrowed straight into wood? It appears to be a more mature infestation in my bathroom cabinet doors than in my kitchen cabinet doors, you can see the bumps which looks like a stray hair and debris was painted over and that hair eventually peeks out thru the paint but then goes away at some point. My second question is, do you recall the title of the video that you referenced in this video of the 10 yr old home that had high humidity? Lastly, I occasionally have the earthy smell you spoke about, we can safely assume there are 2 different molds growing as well?I havent seen any evidence of mold, but the smell gave it away. Lastly, can you recommend some type of appliance that takes care of mycotoxins? I was thinking the X-infinity carbon in-line fan that has approx 5 to 8lbs of activated charcoal. Thank you in advance.
Jeril, there are several well qualified experts in Alabama, but we don't have any experience with them to make a recommendation. Sorry we couldn't be of more help.
I had white wood fungus on my deck boards. I got the wood dried out. What would be my next step so it does not return because I plan on using the wood to make garden boxes? Thank you, Jim

Thank you,

Remove and treat the mold and store it in an environment so it doesn't get wet again would be my suggestion.
❤️ this guy 👍 👍
In a heterosexual way 😀
Thanks!!
Pictures really would have been nice. I have no idea what I'm looking at when I get into my crawl space.
Sorry, thanks for the feedback.
Why don't they build with treated wood so as to avoid all these problems?
Some do! It just depends on cost
@@CrawlSpaceNinja Yeah, builders always go cheap on what can't be seen. Keeps you busy, though.
