- I had lots of plums and looked for ways to preserve them and I am excited about this sauce!
Here is a link to the recipe. I used a jalapeno without seeds.

Thank you for watching!
Renee your voice is so calming. I could watch you all day. I love plum sauce, so this is on my list to make. Thank you.
Thank you so much!😊
When I was growing up we had an orchard with apples and plums. Most of the plums were very small but a few trees were large. Your plums are beautiful! My favorite were the apple trees. I used to grab a salt shaker and climb my favorite tree and eat green apples. I was always told I’d get a belly ache - never did. The sauce is just beautiful. Looks good.
Oh wow! What a great memory.
This looks wonderful. I don't do hot spices but I bet this would be good without the heat too. Thank you.
I wish someone near me had a plum tree even the local orchard doesn’t. This recipe sounds so good I wouldn’t add as much heat
I want to plant one now!
Me too in the spring I’ll buy one at tractor supply
Yum! I got that exact same chopper for Christmas and boy, I learned the hard way how sharp the blades are! 🤣
I did too!!!
Renee, that is one nifty little helper there to cut up so even!
I love it! I use it so often especially canning prep
Hi Lady! Looks wonderful. I bet it smells wonderful in your kitchen. ❤
It does! Thank you
Hi Renee! Oh I bet this would be delicious on a pork roast too. Looks delicious and thanks for sharing. Have a blessed evening!
I think it would be too! Thank you! You too!
I'm glad this video popped up at the end of your Canuary video! My favorite meal from Chinese restaurants is Moo Shu pork and they always serve it with plum sauce. I don't even know if we can grow plums in MN like that, but I'll add it to my "hopefully someday" list. 🤣Thanks Renee!
You’re welcome
I really enjoyed watching this! When you told me you were going to make this, I had no idea it was going to be this fancy! I will have to make an effort to harvest the wild plums from my sisters house next year!
It is so different and flavorful. I have some steak marinading in the extra with soy sauce and garlic
@@pikecreekfarmSounds good! Let us know how it turns out.
Thanks for including recipe
My pleasure 😊
This sounds so delicious, Renee! Thank you for sharing how to make this recipe.
You are so welcome!
Great for dipping pot stickers!
I love potstickers! That would be great
I am going to have to find some plums this year. What a great idea to can homemade plum sauce.
I have cooked meatballs and wings in it. Amazing
Came for the recipe!
Thanks for coming
This looks and sounds wonderful, I have to make this, I have the book with the recipe too.
Definitely going to do this this summer to go with your wontons! Thanks for the inspiration!
You are so welcome!
Oh yes, this is definitely something I want in my pantry! A home canned plum sauce can't be beat. Thanks Renee! 🍂
You are so welcome!
Those look delicious
It was!
Ooohh ... I'm thinking this would be a good glaze for a ham. I also like your idea for chicken. Thanks for sharing. I have that same book and have the recipe tagged for next year.
Great idea! That sounds really good. I used some in a steak marinade tonight
Renee that looks delicious,
It really is good!

Looks great I have to!!! Now looking around trying to figure out where to put it up. 😊
It's so good!
I have a couple cans of plums I had no idea what to make with......I may try this but will need more cans
Great idea
Oooh, that looks delicious! All the native plums near me are cling stone - do you have any tricks for dealing with that? It is the bane of my existence during peach and plum season.
I don’t have any tips except a sharp knife. I have always had cling free stone fruit so I am lucky!
You can freeze the plums first, when they are partially thawed the pits just squeeze out easily
I just watched the chicken wonton video and now I really must make this. Where do you find good plums at this time of year?
I’m not sure. Fruit is coming in from Mexico and other places. Maybe the local stores will have them.
Love your videos! What kind of chopper do you have?
Here is a link amzn.to/4b1nZra. I really like it and use it a lot for canning
Can I ADD more hot peppers?
You can add dry peppers but you can’t go over the original amount in the recipe. You can use spicier peppers too.
I wonder could I use diabetic sugars to make this
I don’t think so but I’m not 100% sure. You can contact Ball and they will let you know
Did you use prune plums or black plums??
They were purple on outside and yellow inside. So I’m not sure. Lol
How many plums did you use for 10 cups. Or aprox how many individual plums.
I think between 20-25.
