I don't mean to criticize here and I am sorry to say but assigning someone to a shop with a nameplate is a terrible idea. NPCs don't trespass into other people's room. If you assign someone to an item shop then no one will enter it. Ringing the bell will work but they will try to leave faster and won't trigger a purchase. Just make a normal item shop the same way shown in the video and people will walk in without needing the Bell. Just make sure to leave space around the table for the NPCs and you should be fine.
Jason Allcreator Hmm... that’s what is going on in my game and I use the nameplate. I have only sold 40 items. I want those binoculars so bad, but I am ready to give up on the game altogether! Gonna try without nameplates. I really hope you are right! Thank you for your input!
Jason Allcreator Wow... I took down my nameplates and BAM! Hit to 100 in a few minute. I couldn’t believe it! Those binoculars are actually looking attainable to me now and I don’t have to give up on a game that I love! 😃😃😃 This is a game changer (and saver)! Thanks again for your input! I am so appreciative!!!!
There's a lot of this that I had set up right, but optimizing with your tips got it finished in minutes instead of hours over days. I just set it up close to how you described then did something else for a while, then came back and it was all finished! Thanks, man!
No matter what I do they don't want to buy anything i even closed down there bath house and bar and kitchen as punishment they still dont want to help the economy
I didn't realize you had to use a nameplate to make the item shop the merchant's room for them to sell the items! I kept wondering why my junk never sold! XD
sammer109 I didn't assign anyone to the shop for ages and it didn't sell anything, and it was in an area where the NPCs like to go to, so it seems it can be hit or miss.
Hi Murad thanks for the video. I finally made the 200 sells. It takes 15 ingame days I bring all people in the pyramid. Then I sell 15-20 things per day. I this time I see we have 2 times to sell items. First time is 6.30 ingame time second is 9.30 More of my people buy at 9.30 evening bevor they go sleep. I don't have a sign for my merchant it works without too . With the bell is a good idea and thanks for the info with the noughty book. I think it gives the most hearts too I never see a red heart inside my shop. One question I have. How could I bring style to 5? I have a merchant who wants style 5 in a small room. I have no idea how I reach this in a so little room. Thanks a lot. Heiko
The challenge of selling 200 items may seem very daunting however it is not actually sell 200 items it is Gain 200 Gratitude from selling item and a Naughty Book is worth 10 points for 1
Do you know what to do with those music sheets the hermit keeps giving? I have a bunch but they're just sitting in my inventory. It says consumable but I don't know how to use them nor can I find anything about it.
Very cool video, but why do so many building of yours have no floors? I get it you might not have time to put the floor down but I kinda don't like just seeing the bare floor.
@@SirMopy that was really rude, at least he is trying to help people. You don't know if he has a job in real life so he can't spend too long on videos.

Of course pornography would be the highest selling product.
People will be making “milk” faster than the cows you brought over.

Christian Groff I had this exact same problem xD
I assure you that you actually do not. I never assigned any of my shops and my sell count is currently over 100.

How lucky to have found your channel, thank you very much for your help!

Thank you so much. This was a horrible tablet target.
Love your Dragon Quest Builders 2 tips. Thanks so much 😊 👍
You are welcome😊 - SD
When I did what he said no one buy nothing but when I put haystack pet feeding bowl and pet bedding every one was in a rush to buy
i dont use a nameplate in my shop. it has 3 tables to sell items and i only have 1 merchant. my item shop sells fine.
Thanks! I've been trying to figure this out for a while.
If you don’t put name plate, multiple merchants will sell at the same time
I also use shops as a item sink for my random items, so that I don’t need to stare at 5 pages of stuff in inventory.
