- Here is another Procreate Dreams animation I did. Painted all alements in Procreate. Lots of 12K stuff :-)
I wanted to do one camera move from space down to the ground on a planet. It was fun to figure out how to do that in 2D. #procreatedreams #procreate

@@yasseford hehe. Im very used to that size screen :-) Yes, the elements painted and animated are 12k resolution. To give room to travel around and maintain 4 k :-)

@@nikolailockertsen No, it's not just a pan, apart from the synchronized parallax and some super detailed 2D images, there is a 3D in what would be the surface of the earth just before the end, the rest is all in 2D, I estimate that you mounted it in blender haha, what I would like to know is, how did you integrate the visual aspect of the floor so that it resembles the rest of the environment. It looks incredible.
@@Animation_Studio.7 haha. Thank you. The groundplane is scaled in Y. Then I matched all elements standing on it to stay in their place. That gives the 3D feel :-)

Awesome!! Always creating magic! Trying to figure out the various tricks used to create the 3d camera parallax while watching! The abandoned subway tutorial scene was a great starting point and want to thank you for that!
Btw congrats on being featured in the iPad event today! Seeing James Cuda from Procreate and you in the video was like the Leonardo Di Caprio pointing at screen meme for me 🤣
Thank you so much mate! It is fairly straight forward parallax all the way. The closest stuff more faster than the stuff further into the scene :-) but just lots of it. Thank you it was very cool to be there with James, or Leonardo ;-)

I agree Nikolai you have inspired me to make cool stuff in procreate dreams. I’m using your animations as reference. Right now I’m working on the moon breaking and pieces of debris hitting the earth. Some will burn up on entry into the atmosphere then biggers pieces will hit a city.

In one of your videos you show a „template“ with a UHD screen in it. Could you please send the pixels for the hole canvas
Ahh, Schön, ok thank you :-) My wife is German. I pick up some of the language, but not how to write it :-) The paintings are devided in to parts, the space with 10000x6000 pixel elements. Then placed and animated as I saw best in Procreate Dreams. The landscape is 6000px wide and 9000 tall. The Procreate Dreams project is 4K or 3840px by 2160

Thank you a lot. I work on a collaboration with a great artist on our own project. And he draw in Photoshop. I can open PSD files with Procreate, so wie want to animate some parts in dreams. Your artwork is amazing. So I thought maybe we could try it.

Haha, that is actually difficult if you dont know it. Just tap a corner and a ( pops up beside the corner. That is the rotation handle

A Music only and No SFX heartwarming animation about a young Cat named Ciro who gets separated from his mother during a stormy boat ride to a new home. Only to become a foster kid raised by a family of Jackalopes, and one named Jack becomes his best friend who promised to have his back always.

Thank you very much :-) hehe, yes patience is a fickle thing. I would say, just push trough on making one animation the best you can and enjoy the result. Then it will be easyer on the next one. It is really mostly about practise. If you get used to finish stuff, it will be more easy to continue that way. But dont do too big stuff in the beginning. Rather small, but looking great than too long before you loose patience.

Wow! That is almost perfect, I hope you do a break down but either way: so good! The soldier/warrior in the end frames sort of took away the perfect impression (in my view)..but could it not have been a confused and lost Wall Street broker in a torn up costume instead? Just to vary a things a bit. 😂😂 (neither would have been preferable, again, my view🙂)

All pretty much keyframing. Stuff mostly got two keyframes and move at different speeds. Only stuff that has preforming in it is the grass and the dude in the end. Not really riggin or frame by frame :-)
