In this C4D tutorial I'll share with you one of my favorite ways to use Octane's noises - creating concrete and plaster fully procedurally. Procedural noises work really well in achieving that concrete look which is why I usually tend to use these procedural methods on my own projects. You get full creative control, and you don't have to worry about any repeating textures. Another added bonus is that you can get an insane amount of details for closeup shots.

A Quick Octane tip: if you drag a node to a connection while pressing Alt, that node would be placed in the connection and you wouldn't have to connect it manually.
Yezzir, that's a good one. I use it a lot!
The best procedural concret vid I've seen, and with nice tricks (that UvTransform node OMG, and the Vertex displacement to add bump)
Damn thank you dude!
I really love this procedural series 🔥
Me too dude, me too.
You explain very well👌 ....I appreciate your hard work 👍

amazing, can it be used with redshift too?
Yes I'm sure, I actually tried to recreate some of my materials in Redshift a few days ago, just to start practicing Redshift. I probably sat for 5-6 hours trying to do the simplest things and I was surprised how confusing working with noises was. It's probably just getting used to it but goddamn it made me appreciate Octane haha
The package (50 Procedural Concrete & Plaster Materials) can be found in the patreon? It is for personal and study use.
Yes you can get packs in some tiers!
Do you have any plans to make a procedural glass workflow video?
Hmm yes. I mean glass is very straight forward, but I can see what you mean, there's different types of glass etc. Good idea.
Hi new plastic i dont know your name, can you create a tutorial about creating a velvet shader for pillow ground carpet, etc ?
Funny I've been constructing a super thorough procedural fabric shaders in the past week. Gonna release a bunch of videos about different fabrics soon.
And my name is Guy! :)
@@NewPlastic Hi Guy, I don't know why but I had a feeling you were going to say that.
