I am so glad you are covering them! They tend to bully people who react or critique them. I have been worried about these kiddos forever. On top of the amount of wasteful food and plastic consumption going on in his house is just irksome.

It’s SO weird . There is no reason for them to be living in that house. Having to get a laundry service or planning to sometimes run their grey water into the neighbours yard.
That tiny kitchen … the box walls/mountains that literally go to the ceilings .
She thinks it will make them seem more average or something but the ridiculous Xmas spending etc just pisses people off - BUY a fucking house! People will respect them so much for being sensible with their money .
At the very least take those kids on a holiday or something ffs.

As a born and raised Greek,who lives in Greece, all this so called ''cooking'' was beyond the realm of 'wtf'. That oregano she dumped in to that marinade wasn't even the herb. It was the dust that stays on the bottom of the container,it was disgusting! Gyros could be very well been made with pork meat. That's the point with gyro you need that meat fat,that's where all the flavor is. And that abomination of a mousaka...Holy crap..It's not enough that she put like a ton of cinammon in the sauce,she proceeds to add nutmeg in the bechamel sauce. I am so freaking offended that I want to rip my eyes off. Tons of love from your homeland ,Greece ,Frenchie you make my day!🇬🇷 🇬🇷 ♥ Edit: Thank God she didn't make tzatziki sauce!

I hate that garlic stuff too! I mash up fresh garlic in my blender then portion it and freeze it so I always have fresh frozen garlic to just fry up.
I chop it and put it in olive oil. Try it on bread with butter and toast it in the oven. Best garlic bread!!

Alusha was actually on Rachael Rays talk show.. via satellite… it was short interview, and it ended in Rachael and the show gave her $1,000 gift card for grocery’s for the 10 kids (it was before N & D)… you could tell Lushy was a little disappointed in the gifts they offered her… kinda like getting chocolate bar and $50 Wegmans card for being one of the top spenders at Wegmans…..

Hey Frenchie, when I make pastichio I add some cinnamon and clove to the meat sauce (but usually only 1/2 tsp of each). Also, I do add egg yolk to the Bechamel to develop a nice golden colour when baked. Plus I use egg whites to stick the bucatini together uniformly so I don’t want to waste the egg yolks.
I actually got recommended DCP from watching you and I'm so glad I did because I absolutely love him!! You and him have a similar attitude and I think I love him because of his snark and I love you because of it too 😂
Did she not read the recipe prior to making it? To realize what types of ingredients and the sizes. Also to transcribe amounts from metric to imperial. If the recipe is so confusing use another recipe that makes sense.
