It really blows my mind why its ranking so low all the time..
Really don’t understand why people hate on Octopussy so much, yes it has its silly moments but overall it has some great moments and in my opinion is one of the best Moore movies.

They went hard on Octopussy didnt they?? Its so underrated and overhated! Bond dressed up as a clown? Well nobody ever turns on their head and thinks about the actual situation he was in during this scene.. Including these guys. They also dont think about it! Bond was trying to disarm a NUKE! If he didnt do it, the nuke would have blown up. He wouldnt have cover. The music plays well, Roger Moore brilliantly pulls it off! This scene made my heart race! People find one single bad scene that doesnt even last 5 minutes in a movie and they use this scene to completely dislike the entire film. Gosh thats disgusting!
The worst thing about a view to a kill… And there are several really terrible things… Was that Roger Moore got a terrible facelift and Eye/brow lift between Octopussy and a view to a kill. It made him look even older
Greatest bond film to me is Casino Royale. It changed the genre of bond films from what we used to know and showed the man behind the suave agent. It showed us what made James Bond. I can watch it all day

Jai Evans Watch Moonraker and Octopussy are both fantastic in their own way! Octopussy is my favourite in the series! In this film you will find absolutely everything you excpect from a Bond film! Like liturally! This film is packed with a lot of great stuff! It‘s a rollercoaster ride that should really entertain you! I think you will like this movie a lot! It is brutally, tragically underrated and I hope that you will like it! It‘s a great form of escapism and it‘s a great film to watch when you don‘t know what to do! Moonraker is a more of a kid‘s film because it is full of humor and cartooniness. But it should leave you absolutely speechless and amazed with the miniature work, the filmsets, the shooting locations etc... From the first second to the last it‘s filled with beautiful cinematography! It is for me without a doubt the best looking film in thr series! Although I think you‘re not gonna like it as much as Octopussy. Because something very unexcpected happens in this movie. It can be over the top but pretty entertaining. It‘s a great form of escapism. So bottom line, I do recommend these 2 films!

I’d love a version of AVTAK where they acknowledge how old he is, he relies on his wits more than physical strength and he’s utterly outmatched by Zorin/Mayday, then gently turns down the girl’s advances. Or a version with Dalton

Huge bond fan right here
In ABSOLUTELY NO WAY IN HELL is Octopussy a boring movie!
007 CM Its even my favourite Roger Moore film! A top 5 worthy Bond movie in general! Its the perfect balance between outlandish humor and dark and realistic undertones! Plus its packed with a ton of action, probably the deadliest henchmen in the series (Lets face it: Knife twins, Gobinda, Yo-yo-saw killers, strong indian assassins) and some of the best stuntwork in the series! It really blows my mind why its ranking so low all the time..
Really don’t understand why people hate on Octopussy so much, yes it has its silly moments but overall it has some great moments and in my opinion is one of the best Moore movies.
THE CAR FLIP WAS REAL, THEY ACTUALLY DID THE STUNT.
The Man with the Golden Gun was in fact Guy Hamilton's fouth and last directed Bond movie and not the second. No hard feelings but a self proclaimed Bond fan should know these things
Absolutely love roger moores bond films. They’re my favourite

5) Moonraker
4) Live And Let Die
3) For Your Eyes Only
2) The Spy Who Loved Me
1) Octopussy
They went hard on Octopussy didnt they?? Its so underrated and overhated! Bond dressed up as a clown? Well nobody ever turns on their head and thinks about the actual situation he was in during this scene.. Including these guys. They also dont think about it! Bond was trying to disarm a NUKE! Come on! Its also my fav Roger Moore film and my fav in the series!

7. The Man With The Golden Gun
If you guys like octopussy that much, then how don't you like a view to kill?
Usually, the people who think view to kill is silly and not serious at all usually think the same of octopussy.
So, what's the case here?
@@seanpanigel5494 Roger Moore was old, and bored whenever Bond does something cool in that film he’s obviously not doing it ( still love Max Zorin though)
For your eyes only is a great one !! One of the better bond films. Its simple and just works
1. The Spy Who Loved Me (8/10)
2. Live and Let Die (8/10)
3. For Your Eyes Only (8/10)
4. Octopussy (7/10)
5. The Man with the Golden Gun (7/10)

7. Moonraker (5/10)
You can’t call yourself a bond fan if you don’t like roger Moore lol he better then all of the others and on par with Sean Connery
1) The Spy Who Loved Me - iconic
2) Moonraker - repeat with a better villain and plan
3) Octopussy - the best action
4) A View to a Kill - bizarre coke fueled fun
5) For Your Eyes Only - great action, bad villain and climax
6) The Man With the Golden Gun - cheap grindhouse type movie with a great villain
7) Live and Let Die - too many chases and too much cringe
3:45 Can you guys in heavens name stop for a second and think about the horrifying situation that James Bond was in during this scene and also think WHY he dressed up as a clown in the first place?

Love seeing love for Man With The Golden Gun!

I’d love a version of AVTAK where they acknowledge how old he is, he relies on his wits more than physical strength and he’s utterly outmatched by Zorin/Mayday, then gently turns down the girl’s advances.
Or a version with Dalton

I can’t wait your review of On Her Majesty’s Secret Service and the Dalton films!

1: The Spy Who Loved Me (9,5/10)
I agree that a view to a kill isn’t the greatest... but that finale is great! Golden Gate Bridge axe fight and the zeppelin is bond action at its best and max zorrin is a great villain. Probably the most psychotic one in bond history, laughing before his own death and killing his workers for the fun of it. It isn’t great but it’s pretty decent, a 6.7/10 for me

1. The spy who loved me

Great discussion. I'll start by saying that Roger Moore was also not my favorite Bond, but recently I have a new appreciation for him. I would rank his films this way (from best to least favorite): Spy, Eyes Only, Octopussy, Live and Let Die, AVTAK, Golden Gun and Moonraker.
