I like the phone holder. Normally, I am the navigator while Mike drives, so the phone is in my hands lol. Great idea to make the van more your design. Everything looks great! The ipad for a tv is a good idea! Van looks great!

It looks like the cabinet is still blue? Anyway back to the video Paul great job bro as you were drilling through this countertop I was freaking out because I thought it was me I am horrible at this stuff but you did a great job
Yes the we left the locker blue because it's actually made out of hard plastic so we wouldn't be able to paint it. If we did the paint would probably just chip off. Thanks for the compliments! It was a little nerve wracking drilling a hole in such a beautiful countertop! 😯
If I could make one suggestion to make your life easier and save you money in the future it would be to purchase a Fumoto oil drain valve. You will no longer need to remove the oil drain plug and you will eliminate the risk of stripping the threads. I have them on all my vehicles and they are great. Chris, Ajax Ontario Canada.

I see you were doing one of my least favorite things to do: SHOPPING! (; Just had a 9 hour power outage at night and those "click lights" would help - or a larger flashlight - battery large light. I wasn't happy with the illumination from my flashlight. Do you have something in your van already that helps with bugs bothering you inside the van? Thanks for another great video! Oh wow Freeman! We've been hearing about all of the power outages all over the country from the cold weather. We hope you're staying warm! For the bugs in the van we have a bug net right on the slider so it stops them from coming in. If we have the back doors open though they come right in. Sometimes at night we have to swat a bunch of bugs if they make their way in somehow. We're glad you loved it and hope you have a great 2023 also! 🤩❤️
Pro tip on lighting. Add red LEDs for those late night pee runs. Red is less obtrusive to whomever may be still sleeping and helps you go back to sleep easier rather than the shock of white light.
Totally! There are a few options we considered, including the Natures Head compost toilet, but the dimensions just didn't fit the van build. It was already built so solidly that we're just not ready to make any adjustments to the cabinet structure. But the bucket toilet seems to be working just fine! The next step for us will probably be some kind of homemade composting bucket toilet. We'll see how that goes!

Love the editing and camera angles of this video! That Faucet looks like a great upgrade. As a bigger guy I'm always having trouble getting into spaces like that to fix/upgrade fixtures, nice work!

Yes we have! We once went to a salsa dancing festival during the summer heat of July and it was SO HOT to sleep at night. Before we went to bed we would run the vehicle AC for a while to cool it down before shutting it off and take "towel baths" 😆. Then at night we run the roof fan and a plug in fan which helped a ton with air flow. Paul gets hot so he throws the covers off. On those hot days we also make ice coffee and cold overnight oats and try not to cook hot things. It's doable but definitely a challenge! 🥵
