I feel like the one kind of mosquito that we shouldn’t get rid of is the elephant mosquito, or the Toxorhynchites, because they do not EVER bite humans or other animals. The Toxorhynchites eat flower nectar, rotten fruit juices, plant sap and many other organic things.

I know they have another name, but they will know what you are talking about. They are small minnows that primarily eat mosquito larvae, which live in water, and the Mosquito Eaters breed like crazy, you may start out with having 5 or 6, soon you will have hundreds in your pond, but dont ever get rid of them, keep them
When they bite me somewhere that isnt horrible to have the itch I flex the muscle so they cant stop drinking and they pop. its satisfying and totally worth the allergy bump itch
