Alyssa is actually speaking the truth about the younger generation - many of us simply cannot purchase homes, despite the full-time jobs we are working.
Right on
What’s that have to do with Biden? It’s been that way for a long time
The boomers are to blame, mostly.
@@thenatural5268true but what is he doing to fix it?
@@jimbob28642 Did trump Do Anything To Fix It, NO!!!
As a liberal person myself, I don’t agree with Alyssa’s politics, but I agree with people in the comments that we want to hear Alyssa’s opinions and want the ladies to consider them as opposed to interrupting her all the time and ignoring her voice as part of the younger generation.
Thank You!!!
Because no one take Alyssa serious, you forget she was a yes ,yes, yes, Trumper for 4 years, untill he lost in 2020, only than did she jump ship, Christie was the same, all those trumpers stood by and not open their mouth while diaper Don was destroying the country, so why trust them now.
Well said!
Exactly! I honestly feel bad for Alyssa. I get debating… but they are always so dismissive of Alyssa. I hate to break it to them but a lot of people have different “views” of things.
It's called the view 4 a reason. Dosmissing her is just not the rite thing 2 do. I feel bad 4 the poor girl. While I don't agree with her, she shouldn't b dismissed.
Alyssa bringing up how younger generations cannot afford homes is actually correct. And it’s disingenuous that Whoopi, Joy, and Sunny are always dismissive of her argument when it is what a vast majority of Gen Z and millennials feel. The LONE conservative at the table is also the youngest, and is making the point that all the other ladies are choosing to ignore and it is not a winning strategy. Avoiding the issue and dismissing it because you had a different experience “back in the day” means that you’re choosing to invalidate everyone else’s concerns!!! Times are NOT the same and it’s incredibly frustrating to watch anyone say, “suck it up, we went through this in the past too” when the circumstances are blatantly different. THESE are the reasons why younger voters ultimately don’t turn out.
You said it perfectly! Thank you! This conversation got me heated 🤭
Agreed! It goes to show how both Whoopi and Joy are so out of touch with the younger generation base. They need to invite someone to explain the fact to them so that they can understand that today's economy no longer supports the majority of Millenials and Gen Zers who wish to buy a home these days. Especially in America.
When in our history were younger people buying homes out of college, that never existed, she's trying to rewrite history
Absolutely!!! I couldn't agree more!! Inflation has hit all of us, and young adults the most.... according to Redfin the average home cost $426,056....When most baby boomers turned 30 around 1985, the average single-family home cost $82,800 ($236,046.18 if you include inflation). So its almost a 200,00$ difference......The sense that homeownership is no longer within reach for many younger Americans. So even if the economy is better it is not $200,000 better...
THIS HEAVY ON THIS!!!!
You gotta respect Alyssa: she’s tough, smart and very articulate . She doesn’t whine and back down when they cut her off, she sticks to her guns and doesn’t get emotional. I don’t agree with her views but I like and respect her a lot.
i suspect working with a misogynist like Trump, toughened her up.
She has poise
She has grit. I like her standing her ground. Alot of what shes saying actually aint wrong. People dont wanna hear it cuz bidens a nice guy but this is too important
Megan McCain could never!
As a Democrat, I can say I am often dismayed by the dismissive tone from some of the liberal co-hosts. Alyssa is right. People don’t feel that the economy is doing better just because metrics say so.
Thats coz of how bad things were when Pres. Biden took office. It's been systematic, but the economy has turned around and will continue to improve coz the right policies are in place. Eventually, people will start to " see" the changes- November is still far.
People feel what the new narrative tells what to feel, did republican voters feel the election was stolen?yes ,why? The narrative told them that, you're giving people way too much credit, people feel under trump the economy was better, but not one category he has better numbers than biden, but the narrative told them to feel like that

Agreed
@@jayceak7 Considering Biden won't call for a ceasefire and is fighting the Houthis and Iranian proxies in the Middle East, that potential regional war is going to affect shipping, and oil prices and the global economy the longer it goes on. And that war is distracting from Biden's other war Ukraine, which should be his priority.
So it's possible Biden's actions in the Middle East will undermine whatever real growth there is in the economy that Americans aren't feeling yet by election day. And it's important to remember, Americans vote on how we feel our economic situation is. If you are struggling, Biden can quote all the factual data points he wants, it's not going to change YOUR economic situation.
Whoopi is always dismissive of the REALITY that younger generations are facing. People are working, but the salaries have been stagnant for decades and what these so-called “good jobs” pay is not enough to do what the older generations did. I know plenty of millennials and gen z who got degrees and have worked steadily, but they can’t afford homes even after working and saving for years. I don’t agree with Alyssa ideologically, but she does bring up good points at times. I wish she’d get to complete a thought without being condescended to and cut off.

I like Whoopi but she is a multimillionaire who made all her money acting in movies. She’s lived a cush life since she was discovered 40 years ago. Sometimes I think she has forgotten how hard it is for regular people.
People should have taken Bernie Sanders idea about raising wages more seriously.
You're delusional if you think someone can just step in and make everything perfect
I don't agree with Alyssa that much in this segment but my goodness can they stop interrupting her and cutting her off while she is talking

@@toriboy25 so what in this segment they needed to let her finish her points. It's all of them minus Sara against her.
Disgusted by the way they treat Alyssa. As a millennial, I'm grateful to have Alyssa attempting to bring awareness into the old folk. House prices have skyrocketed over the past decades while the minimum wage has hardly ticked up. My grandmother was able to buy THREE houses working a minimum wage job back in the 80s. The best a minimum wage job can get you these days is a McChicken. Truly disgusting how the older folks can't see that.
Agree. And they also make a 7 figure salary and are disconnected from the real world.
I wanted to hear Alyssa points even though I don't agree with her
How do you know you don’t agree with her if you didn’t hear her?
@@RatchetCoon I didn't agree with Alyssa that much in this segment but I still wanted to hear her opinions.
i’m a liberal democrat and Alyssa is right and everyone else there was being VERY out of touch that houses back then cost a fraction of what they do now and people working well above minimum wage full time still cant afford to buy even a small house. Its so rude how much they interrupt Alyssa
🎯☝🏾
They interrupt her so much. So annoying. I want to hear what she has to say. If they don’t want anyone else’s view they shouldn’t call it The View.
I'm as liberal as it can get. But Alyssa is speaking the truth here that there is concern about Biden (irrational concern at times because the economic/legislative data is wildly in his favor), and our generation is NOT as economically safe as Whoopi's generation. And I love Whoopi, but she totally isn't hearing what Alyssa is saying. Home ownership has plummeted over the past 40 years because wages have not kept up with inflation. Keep going Alyssa, stay strong, we hear you and respect you so much.
According to Redfin the average home cost $426,056....When most baby boomers turned 30 around 1985, the average single-family home cost $82,800 ($236,046.18 if you include inflation). So its almost a 200,00$ difference.....
So there is a policy Biden is going to make that will make those greedy people bring the price down? Or Trump is going to come in and use his dictator power to bring the price down? The Feds are still trying to balance the economy after the pandemic n is Biden fault
Alyssa chose trump and worked for trump and she has admitted that she made a mistake.. and now you think Alyssa is the right person to take advise from about choosing another leader?
The problem is people think it's the president fault for everything and don't read or do research when voting. Some don't even vote in their local elections and there is where the change happens. Most of what people is feeling is from the local level no matter the president in office .
What truth?... being ignorant isn't a truth.
Well Whoppie I don’t agree! You can’t compare when you started to the times now! I am a single mom, with a masters degree working two full time jobs and still can’t afford to live in Georgia. Not the same! It’s talk like that that sets us back!
Yes but the problem it's not the goverment but your CEO...
totally. my brother's household makes at least $350,000 a year, no debt and they still struggle to find a home they can afford in atlanta. its really quite sad.
Sunny you tell Alyssa what republicans should do all the time!!!
I was thinking the same. It's time for her to go, she is always contradicting herself. At some point, she said Biden has restore the soul of the country and another time she said he hasn't. The show will be better with people like Sara.
@@vannickyakam204👏👏👏
She is not a politician to another politician
. You that dumb?
Ha!
She is not a politician! Your point is moot and irrelevant. Try again. 😂😂😂
Alyssa is speaking for us Millennials!! She’s absolutely correct. I hate that she’s dismissed so much from Whoopi and Joy for her age. I’m in my 30’s as well. I can’t stand when the older generation discredits me on the economy when they bought a house in 1993 for $120,000 that could sell now for $450,000! 👏🏼
The reason she was cut off is because it is entirely too late to get another candidate it's literally too late. Ballot submissions have a deadline. I think this kind of talk is generated by a deep-seated fear of what Trump will be able to do to us in a second term with none of the guardrails provided by rational people around him in the white house. The idea that any Democrat could beat Trump is a pipe dream.
The way joy and Whoopi were talking about buying a home and working up to that showed their ignorance or naivety, because the stats show that most millennials and gen-z will struggle to ever own a home. Their struggles and journeys are not applicable to the current and upcoming generations
Sunny bring up a poll to prove her point and then the second alyssa mentions a different poll she says “polls don’t matter” 🤣🤣🤣
She must go, she is too incoherent and bias
@@vannickyakam204
Sure boss, on it.
And she is supposedly among the intelligent ones 😂😂😂
Maybe her point is that polls are inconsistent and you can find a poll that will contradict another poll
I know so hypocritical and egotistical
I fully understand that Whoopi has a right to give her opinion but I don't think the role of moderator suits her, she interupts her co-hosts a lot. Alyssa has some really good points and I wish she had more time to talk
So true. Especially with the Rwpublican at the table.
Terrible moderator!
They need to let Alyssa talk the cutoffs are annoying , just let her talk
I don't like her but yes they need to let her make her points. But at the same time they took her in part because it would be easy to talk over her.
The reason why they talk over her is because she saying all the right things what they are afraid to admit Joe Biden is weak. He’s gonna lose.
She is constantly repeating herself, we’ve heard it before. The general election has not started, and the polls are not the people. I believe Biden wi best Trump again.
Oh stop, Alyssa has been doing her share of interrupting and cutting people off. Stop acting like she's this innocent person.
@@vannickyakam204 you right
The issue with Whoopi’s comment is the disparity between income and expense. Household income ratio was at 4.86 back in the 80s. As of last year, the ratio is close to 8. That is the conservative number, another data has median home prices increased from 121% nation wide since 1960, but median household income has only increased 29%. So it isn’t about “working” hard to but a house, it is about controlling capitalism to the point that rich get richer and poor get poorer, and the dream becomes impossible. Alyssa is correct here.
But than everyone will cry that the goverment is to controling.... To say nothing about the fact the repubs are working to cancel the regulations already in place
I totally agree with you. But as a fellow Alyssa who is often also called Alicia, her name is Alyssa. 😅
Alyssa Farah Griffin at the end "I didn't mean me specifically I work on this show but like" 😂😂😂😂
Whoopi was pointing out that it’s not easy to afford to live in New York City. That doesn’t apply to Alyssa who is making bank as a View co-host.
I often thought people not buying homes younger was more of a choice than a financial issue. Sometimes it’s just easier to rent.
@@Concepcion30exactly, which was Alyssa’s point but Whoopi was like you have to work! Which is the dumbest thing I have ever heard! No amount of work will pay you enough money to buy your own apartment in nyc! Like WHAT?
And this is why we can’t fix anything. Because the younger generation is out here telling the older generation that we are struggling and these are not the same struggles they went through and the older generation just invalidates everything we are trying to say. It’s pathetic. I stand with Alyssa.
at some point Whoopi & Joy need to set their personal feelings for Biden aside and at least be aware of what’s happening. that doesn’t mean they can’t to support him but they need to stop riding so hard for him
Exactly and they call theirselves news people
actually no they are the demographic republicans win in elections, they are the ones who need to be with the candidate

Why not? President Biden has done a good job. Trumpy can‘t match Biden’s legislative successes.
LETS SEE you want TRUMP in who’s going to jail !!!!! AS A CONVICT !! WOW
Reminds me of when Meghan was warning about Trump and none of them would listen. Alyssa is literally sounding the alarm bells and they aren’t even willing to listen
Oh yeah
Before or after Meghan voted for him
That is true. There is no way I am voting for Biden. Number 1 the guy is to old and frail looking and I know the leaders in the countries that hate us see that too. As much as I see Trump is chaotic I would vote for him over Biden which is just sad. We should have better choices.
No, seriously.

Whoopi Goldberg keeps interrupting Alyssa because she doesn't agree with her but gets upset when she gets interrupted
I disagree. Of all the people on that panel, Whoopi and Sara are the ones who listens to Alyssa the most. Joy and Sunny are the worst.
@@Montcoshire did you not watch this segment? Whoopi and Joy was doing the same to Sunny not to long ago.
No one (except Sara) lets Alyssa finish or explain her thoughts, whenever they do not like the way she's heading. Joy as usual talks over everyone & Whoopi just interrupts Alyssa whenever she's about to get to the crux of her explanation or just shouts over her when she feels like Alyssa is countering her points. I don't necessarily always agree with Alyssa's POV but isn't it the aim of the show is to learn and listen to various points instead of just listening to the co-hosts parroting over each others' singular view ? If that is the case, why not just change the show title to "One View" 🤣 If they can all respectfully exchange their views when it comes to other topics, i don't see why they won't just let everyone speak their mind & explanation uninterrupted when it comes to politics as well.
They need two Republicans! They have Ana, but she’s a fake republican so she doesn’t count.
I noticed that Sara and Alyssa are factual, objective, fair, and analytical, while the others are more emotional.
As a Dem i agree with Alyssa we have to pay attention to the grievances of the rep people, including MAGA. Thats the only way to move forward and make sure trump doesn’t win. We can be too over confident about winning against trump.
How am I agreeing with the only republican on the panel? Young people have it way worse than previous generations financially and economically. That’s just math. Whoopi is always so quick to dismiss that fact but it just shows she’s out of touch or uninformed on the topic.
Okay….. for real, can the producers please tell Whoopi to be quiet and let Alyssa speak and give her view? Not only is it just plain rude, it’s just ignorant….. I mean for heaven sake, she is giving you concrete and clear reasons as to why Biden could lose and you are just dismissing her? Not to mention she is 100% correct, Biden only won because of Covid so listen to her if you don’t want trump to win the next election! The fact that Whoopi (and joy and Sunny) just expect people to vote for Biden because he’s “the lesser of two evils” is just…. And honestly…. “work hard so you can own a home!” Hollywood elitist much???
This is the exact reason I switched from democrat to republican. Democrats vote for the person over the policies
2016 is repeating they think Biden will win because he is not Trump like they did with Clinton.

I make 150k a year in CA and CANNOT afford a home. WTF wake TF up!
I've been working last twenty or so years after highschool in NY and still can't afford my own place. Rent is far too high(basic average units$1000+/Mo.) and owning own home is financially impossible, 90% of jobs are low wage and high taxes. And being a single childless male public assistance and or section 8 does not help you. Seems strange when you are working your butt off and can't afford a place but ones you know, don't work and they have a place. We in this state don't have a minimum wage issue, but rather a housing one. Employers control the hours. Minimum wage could be a $100/hr for what 2 or 3 hours a week? Minimum wage goes up, your hours get cut so you really can't get ahead. If it isn't possible to achieve to live, then what's the point of working?
New houses have not been built sine 2010 and investors bought them to rent when housing bubble burst in 2008 is why they overpriced rentals the way they do.
Im tired of Whoopi always shutting down Alyssa when she is trying to give the perspective of the 25-40 demographic or what non-democratics are saying. It's disrespectful, and she's ignoring how different the world is now; it's not as simple as working your way up

Saying there was noone else in the pike in 2020, sorry, Bernie deserved it ,not Biden, always remember the rudeness Whoppi had at Bernie when interviewing cause he wouldn't just drop out for Joe. Biden is establishment, "nothing will fundamentally change" aka, the wealthy/corporations will get what they want, tax cuts, no raising min wage, no accountability, etc...as for now, the party yelling for loss of democracy has done all it can to keep no challenges to Biden, the few in the race, get almost no airtime other then independent media. This country is down to nothing more the picking the lesser of two evils. Watch the George Carlin clips if not familiar of how this country has 31 flavors ice cream, etc, yet important things like our country, two choices, thats it, and its determined by interest groups who they are to give us illusion of choice. As far as Alyssa if never knew anything about her seems very nice, sweet, respectful, and will make good points when doesn't get interrupted constantly. Plus there's truth to Alyssa comment about 2020, what's never acknowledged is Biden wasnt victorious from all this massive support, for him, the Conman lost from how he handled the pandemic, there's a huge difference. and it wasn't even by that much he won, which is scary on its own. before the pandemic hit Biden wasn't high anywhere, was the coordinated effort in the end getting all in line that got him the nomination. Independant media , not mainstream, only way will ever really see what is happening, these shows will have points and moments, though not deep into the realities.

He's not wrong. I usually lean more towards democrat, but he's right and we need a better democratic candidate. I really wish they would Alyssa talk because the second you mention Joe Biden in a bad way, Whoopi gets all ruffled and interrupts her. Alyssa is not stupid. She has a lot of good points. Stop treating her like she's Meghan McCain. LET HER TALK
We the middle/working class people do not feel like the economy is awesome at this time. The numbers/metrics may say that but honestly I’m a nurse and myself and my peers are struggling to make ends meet. It def takes more than having a job to get a home in today’s society. 1 income homes are barely staying afloat. Not not able to save and get ahead. Most people are needing 2 or more incomes just to live comfortably which is why people are running to the internet and doing anything for a 💰.Alyssa is right and this panel is kinda out of touch with the realities of what people are really facing day to day.
Alyssa ALWAYS makes valid points which the ladies of the view dismiss. 4 democrats vs 1 republican, they gang-up on her, talk over her, are dismissive toward her...Whoopie cuts her off, Sunny constantly puts her down--Alyssa is treated with such hatred...it's remarkable.
Christie is saying what young voters (under 35yrs) have been saying! The tone deafness in the panel can cause us a loss again. Remember how smug the panel was with Hillary Clinton 🙄🙄🙄
Listen, the reality is young voters have a choice. When they vote in November, they need to remember, that they are not voting for Biden, they are voting for their own salvation. Choose wisely or you will lose big.
Exactly!!! That’s what the older woman from the movie seem to not understand. Sunny should ask her son what the kids are saying
Just because some people are complaining doesn’t make them right. It’s a completely irrational and emotional decision, nothing more. Even Chris Christie acknowledges Joe Biden is a decent man doing a decent job. People are reflexively overreacting (because the sentiment is being spoon fed to them by both the mainstream and right wing media) to the fact that he’s 81 and acting childish by doing so. Hopefully none of those people inhabit this earth that long. If it were any other Democrat, they just be churning up opposition research and clickbait against that person, especially if it were a woman or POC. Sorry America, candidates like Barack Obama come once in a lifetime….you should’ve appreciated it better while you had him.
@@lulu7777ist That mentality is so awful. Chose the worst of the two is your mentality? Why couldn't Dems be better than Reps?! 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
@@javiruiz8365 They don't care. Older generations write off young people so quickly, but will complain that young voters aren't voting like they should. Older people are extremely stubborn
Another time, everyone against Alyssa. LET ALYSSA SPEAK!!! For the record, im a democrat.
The reality is these hosts are delusional 😞
Exactly, they are out of touch with reality
No CASH reparations, no voting BLUE!
Alyssa is right. This election coukd be shocker. So much is going t on.
They are in their Bubble
Alyssa has a point. I’m sorry that the people over 55 and/or the most senior people in power won’t consider listening to people who tell them the truth about the way “the people”, the voters are feeling. If we lose it’s because democrats won’t accept reality when it slapping them in the face. No one wants Trump, but Biden may not be the best answer either for this time in history. Biden is not the only Dem that could beat Trump and I’m not sure why they are so afraid to make their ticket stronger.
I can't wait until Alyssa proves them all wrong. The majority of the panel is too bullheades on Democratic talking points they are not even thinking logically. Whoopi I am shamed for your and your ignorance, you dont face the challeges that persist in the middleclass and you haven't in decades.
It is not EGO, Sara is right. I agree that people aren't happy with either, but Joe said he might not run if Trump was not running. Republicans should separate from MAGA candidates like DT & Nimrata Haley.
This age well.
I’m a Democrat. I will vote for Joe Biden. No doubt he’s accomplished a lot! We can’t pretend like he’s the strongest candidate on the Democratic bench. Everyone I talk to is dismayed that it’s Biden v Trump again. They’ll vote Biden, but there’s little enthusiasm in that vote. Also, let Alyssa speak.
Whoppie been rich too long. My mom bought a house in 1977 for 18'000. Them days are gone most houses start in va at 200,000 a big difference.
Mortgage Interest Was About 7%.?? Plus Inflation Was 14%in Late 1970’s!!! Big Difference…
Stop being so dismissive and attacking anyone who critizes Biden. Biden knows nothing, and he is probably going to lose just because the democrats can't get out of this denial that people won't vote for Biden
I love how Sara always brings sensibility to the conversation. I just wish they would listen to what she's saying.
Millions of people showed up to vote AGAINST Trump, not FOR Biden. Get it straight…
I'm a Canadian and the housing market is at an all time high. Generational wealth may be the only way the younger generation can buy homes. There's a very long way to go before affordability is meaningfully restored. Buyers in many of Canada's large markets will contend with extremely difficult conditions for some time. Part of it is that they are not building homes fast enough. Some of that falls on the developers as they are trying to maximize their profits and will sit on empty parcels of land until they can develop to where it hits their bottom line with the best profit. There are so many other factors, but, I'm sure the US has the same complexities as we do.
So in other words, the right wing talking point, "blame Biden" on the housing crisis, is a false narrative. Just like Inflation and high gas prices are not his fault.
Agreed! I’m Canadian too. These clucks better open their eyes to Biden’s failures or they are in for a rude awakening.
WOW. Thought all Canadians were smarter than that. @@Jeff-cr6ur
Didn't think Canadians were delusional as well. @@Jeff-cr6ur
lol well your polls say otherwise right now so I suggest you not bury your head in the sand and get complacent. Your president is responsible for the worst border crisis of all time and your economy isnt any better. Stop believing this left wing show and do your research @@lisal9829
I consider myself a pretty hard leftist 23 year old who recently graduated college and I actually agree strongly with Alyssa. My friends and I don’t feel great about the economy, despite the statistics saying otherwise. The job market right now is rough, layoffs are occurring everywhere and it’s hard to find an entry level job that doesn’t require years of experience. Frankly, it’s hard to be optimistic about Joe Biden as a candidate, not only about the economy, but he’s old and only half-functioning at best, and his foreign policy is lackluster.
We are frustrated with the GOP stopping this country from moving forward! Biden is at least working for all of us.
Many of us democrats don’t believe so!
💙🗳🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊
Nikki Haley is!
Biden is not working for the Palestinian people
Biden isn’t working for you 🤣 Trump ain’t either but let’s be real about Biden🤣
I don’t fully agree with Alyssa in this segment about her suggestions to fix the problem, but she is bringing up REAL problems! Isn’t the point of this show about hearing the VIEW of everyone on the panel. Also getting sick of Whoopi constantly dismissing her view-points because Whoopi doesn’t like polls. The spiel is getting old.
Whoopi and Sunny are soooo angry and aggressive. Let people voice their opinions!!
I wouldn't say all if that but yeah they need to let people voice their opinions.
These guys can't handle the truth.
The conversation about homeownership at the end was alarmingly out of touch. Disappointing coming from Whoopi and Joy.
They are so out of touch! Its alarming
Inflation has hit all of us, and young adults the most.... according to Redfin the average home cost $426,056....When most baby boomers turned 30 around 1985, the average single-family home cost $82,800 ($236,046.18 if you include inflation). So its almost a 200,00$ difference......The sense that homeownership is no longer within reach for many Americans. So even if the economy is better it is not $200,000 better....
I don't agree with Alyssa, but they were being really unfair to her this segment. Cringy.
Sunny is so out of touch with the public lol. It’s hilarious..
@adamthestarlord9595
Sunny is pandering to her networking buddies.
I’m glad that I’m not the only one that felt like Alyssa was right during this segment. Everyone’s unwillingness to listen and understand that people are not enthusiastic about voting for Joe Biden are going to be partially responsible if trump beats him. I was disappointed in Whoopi, Joy, and Sunny today because you were acting like Fox News host when they talk about trump.
Oh god these boomers giving the “back in my day” spiel.
I’m sorry but does Whoopi ever get tired of saying the same 💩 about the polls and people at home.
Whoopi and joys age are showing in the last part of the segment about the housing in America their age was showing
Black Americans will not vote for non tangibles!
Whoopi needs to let other people talk
Can't control the narrative when other people talk
She sure does
I am disgusted by how dismissive Whoopi is to Alyssa. “I had to work to afford a home” what an idiotic statement. Young people are working longer hours and more jobs than ever and STILL cannot afford to buy a home. Whoopi’s ignorance on this topic is enraging.
Additionally, they are behaving like Alyssa’s perspective here is fringe. It is not! Millions of people share the view that Biden is not the candidate they want. Just because we cannot name an alternative doesn’t mean anything. It just means we are tired of the old guard democrats.
The difference between boomers and Gen z going through the process of work then buy a house is that Gen z will have to work a lot longer to buy a house than boomers had to. I don’t like when older generations say “just work” cause it’s not as easy now as it was half a century ago.
Oh my goodness can they let alyssa talk. I actually enjoy her as a republican voice and its frustrating the way they treat her
The show is called The View, and only 1 view is allowed. The "Republican" viewpoint is only allowed as a token view. Understood?
funny how the left side of the argument gets angry at christie for expressing his “view” and he was asked the question
Sadly I agree with Christie. Love Biden.
But he IS PAST HIS DATE.
I am a Democrat and I see his logic.
But it is too late now.
Every poll should disclose exactly how many people were involved in any given poll.
@rubberdog8763
The population characteristics is more important than a large sample size. And the exact question asked is also important.
In recent primaries the media mentioned survey results without disclosing that independents were the population surveyed.
Alyssa is right. People are frustrated. I work with people who are all parts of the spectrum of American politics. Every single one of them including myself wants a better option than Biden vs. trump. Different options or a third, fourth, fifth option.
Alyssa had so many points she wanted to make but kept getting interrupted and getting talked over
Whoopi "Work and you can get a house" Good god, she is so out of touch! 😊
