Their acting is flawless, and Danny Elfman's score only puts the icing on the cake. No other Batman films in the franchise have anywhere CLOSE to as good as a musical score as Elfman's in both Tim Burton films. As good as the Christian Bale movies were, I will always love Tim Burton's 1 & 2 the most. The best actors, the best music, the best everything!

      Interestingly enough, I consider Nolan's Batman to be more of a James Bond type superhero with all the gadgets and abilities. However, I looked at Keaton's Batman as being a sort of mysterious creature that lived in the darkness.
      Personally, I think the darkness type appeals to me. But everybody has their preference.

    • @axebomber2108
      @axebomber2108 3 роки тому +2

      @@skerr808 Yeah. Even if people see Burton's Batman as campy now, there's elements of it that I think are actually darker than Nolan. Like Nolan is dark in a more matter of fact, real world way like Law and Order. Burton was more like a gothic horror movie, especially the first one but in some ways the second too. Even if the whole Burtonverse never makes a comeback, I'd like to see Burton's style make a comeback. There needs to be a director who's a fanboy of both the Burton movies and the comics who figures out how to marry the two. Maybe that's what we would have gotten if Burton had left Sam Hamm's script alone and just brought all his ideas to life in his signature gothic style.

Chris O'Donnell as Robin, and Alicia Silverstone as Batgirl of course I have seen many episodes of the 1960s Batman series so I am well acquainted with the late great Adam West as Batman Burt Ward as Robin the boy Wonder Yvonne Craig as Batgirl and of course who could forget some of the supporting characters Alan Napier as Alfred Pennyworth Neil Hamilton as commissioner James Gordon Stafford Repp as Chief O'Hara and of course who could forget Madge Blake as Aunt Harriet Cooper and I will say this that series definitely had a lot of different villain characters there's more than you can shake a stick at and that definitely includes the the most famous of them the joker who was played by Cesar Romero the penguin who was played by Burgess Meredith the Catwoman who was played by Julie newmar Eartha Kitt and of course by Lee Meriwether in the movie who could forget Frank gorshin as The Riddler and let's face it there are a lot of other great villains too besides the Big four there are too many to easily remember but they all were pretty tough but I will say this the bat family quite easily took them down!

      No, he does wanted to do it. He said in the interview that he took the part because he was looking forward to be disfigure. When Tim Burton was fired from directing, Warner Bros. didn't want Billy in the first place. So, they preferred a bigger name, which came along Tommy Lee Jones. They made some big mistakes back in the day.

    In high school I wrote stage version of this film as an assignment. When the fan fare started the set would pull away to reveal a projected bat signal, and who ever was play Batman would be standing on a edge and when the fanfare played the last 30 secs, they would jump off into the orchestra pit, full arms extended, with the cape fully extended, and a projection saying Batman will return. Got a c- cause my teacher hated batman. My classmates wanted to perform it as a final production as we were graduating. Would have been epic but copyrights am I right? LOL

      I stuck a batman atop a castle I painted in high school. Totally out of place, out of scale, full daylight, etc. But this scene emblazoned itself on me forever.
      I know the secret though. Elfman changes Batman's theme from a minor chord to a major chord, right at the moment the camera crawls up the buildings.

    This is one of my top favorite endings. The music the camera going up and there is batman atop the highest building waiting for the forces of evil to rise again and put a stop to them. I like how a movie gives you an ending that finishes and that is that. Now a days with movies you can't leave the theaters until after the credits and all you think about is " oh my god this character is gonna come out in the next movie". Finishing a movie should be like this that was a great movie I don't know what movie is gonna top this.

      +JB0523 He doesn't have a weakness to lead. His so-called weakness to magic is vastly overstated by people like yourself who don't do their research. Red sun radiation is plot induced stupidity since it only ever slows him down, and Superman just ends up fighting his way out of it. Kryptonite has, and always will be his main weakness. It's no surprise you think he's a generic character, your assessment of him is based on ignorance. I guess that makes you a generic troll.
