Hi Jamo. Firstly, the footage shot with the 360° is drop dead gorgeous. The makers of this bike would of had to spend enough dollars to get a real world review like this, they must of been very happy. It's all good, ticks a lot of boxes and, you don't need insurance. Bish, bash, bosh.
The assistance setting is only for overseas customers. In the UK 1,2 and 3 are exactly the same level of assistance, due to ebike regulations over here.
@@TechJamo do a milage test, if you get more than 20 miles using full assist I would be interested. My ebike I have now does only 20 miles on full assist, obviously I only did that to test it but only using full assist on hlls gets me about 3 hours of riding.
@@dannywaghorn7120What is it like de-restricted and do you know what mode 2 and 3 does? I bought a second battery but wondered what range is like as I’ve not heard great things about the range.
Can you do something about to go more than 15mph? You know you got an ebike for example 750W motor 48V 16aH battery pack. You can go 15mph when the police are behind you etc but when you are free around any law or restrictions you can press the throttle or with pedal assist to drive even 28 or 30mph. I understand with this Eskuta 250W motor you can not go over 15mph or take the speed limit off?
Presuming that it's the same internals as the series 2 you need to remove the panel underneath the pedals and locate the white looped wire with the black plug and just unplug it.
Deceptively heavy.. I ordered a 250D back in June in Gloss Blue and is being delivered next week and can’t wait to get it. Although not looking forward to carrying this up to my second floor flat everytime I ride it 😂. Love the review Jamo, did you find out what the 3 modes do? I heard it can be de-restricted and the 2 other modes are for that..
I've had mine three weeks this coming Friday 21/7/23 I've used it five days a week going to an from work a relatively flatish trip each way as I've been on holiday from my job since Tuesday 11 July so I've taken it out most days and I've managed on hills I didn't think I would I'm almost 63 years old and 13 stone or 85 kg and I've only had to charge it from 50 per cent battery power remaining three times I can get two bottles of four pint milks and a large tub of strawberries, and a bag of spuds , in my storage pod then I used a small rucksack for a few others bits I was quite surprised just how well I got up the hills bearing in mind my weight and the shopping ....the best money I've ever spent £1995:00 plus the £75 for the storage pod a two week delivery to my home and I've ridden in heavy rain with my waterproof trousers and light weight rain proof jacket
@@TechJamo I looked it up mate .. the 1/2/3 numbers it’s for the foreign market for different assistants where the speed isn’t governed as slow as 15mph
Really good review. Showing the pros and cons (weight). Looking to get one as a commuter bike. Think I’ll tell them Jamo sent me…maybe get a discount? 🤷🏻♂️👍😂
Wattage means distance volts mean power/speed get a 96v controller for 500wats get another 250 wat battery run it parallel with the one it comes with wire it up 70mph 5hour run on full battery and you hit 70mph in 2 seconds will beat any Surron and they will cry also the fuse he shows in the bike seat can have a button for outside for 👮♀️
Had to return mine as was only getting around 15-20miles range with 85kg rider on mostly flat so not great, as Jamo said very heavy making it hard to move about when not riding and makes it feel slow. Ended up getting an ebike much better.
@Klaus Sperger it's very strange because the bike ITSELF is also super heavy! I'm not sure how a single 250w motor can push the bike itself let alone me on top!
@Klaus Sperger honestly it is the heaviest ebike I've ever ridden - and one of the nippiest! They told me you can unlock the speed limiter too to get summin closer to 30mph apparently, so I reckon the motor has just been limited to 250w. That bike was so heavy I definitely couldn't lift it over my head 😂 so that motor must be STRONG

Hahah yeah bro! Love that little 360 camera 😅😅 yeah they liked the footage - wish they gave me a free bike too ahahah!
Bike is a total vibe! People always seem shocked when I tell them I'm not a delivery rider!!
Best review of this I've seen, great work!
Hi Jamo, did you find out about that switch with the 1, 2 and 3 Mode next to the horn
Yes the guy told me when it's unrestricted its 3 different levels of power
I see Deliveroo using these or similar ones and I’ve wanted one. Knowing you don’t need a license I’m definitely getting one now.
Yeah so easy to ride
Is that water proof?
Man’s got it dialled
😅😅😅😅😅😅😅
U go from speaking g to how my Nan sounds when she answers the phone.
LOOOOOOOL you can tell when man is reading from my script init!
Sold it! Ordered mine yesterday. Cheers fam!
Haha nice one!! ❤️❤️
Bro they should definitely give you one of these for free ! I was merely contemplating buying an electric bike but you sold this well pal !
Hahaha I've been asking but naaaah! Lol. Main thing is that it helped the couple of people that watched though!
What 360° are you using?
Oooh it was a insta 360 x2 dude
do u think go touring on it with 120kg rider and 35kg stuff

Thanks for this bro ordered one being delivered today after seeing this review glad I did
Ahh wicked! Let me know how it goes!

Hmmmm we'll have to ask Eskuta about that
What’s the miles on it bro ?
Bro take it DOWN a notch with the swag.. geez I've heard the word ''fam'' like 50 thousand times and I'm barely halfway in the video..... Lol.....
Hahahahaha only 50k more to go
I love it! Please keep 'fam-ing'.

How much do they cost?
The weight of it would make it low mileage?
This is what I was thinking... But it's got a big ass battery too!

@dannywaghorn7120 how? I wanna get 1 but want a faster throttle button if poss x

How much is it??
Double check the link I think they're just under £2k
Is this only peddle assist? Plus the max it’ll go on a flat terrain is 15.5mph which isn’t great. Do a review of the SX 800
