- Join us in Gatlinburg Tennessee at Satterfield's Old Fashioned Grocery Buffet for dinner. This Buffet is $12.99 including your drink. This is not the biggest buffet around but for the price it's a great value. The staff is so friendly and such a peaceful place to eat. Satterfield's Old Fashioned Grocery also is a small grocery store so you can pick up your vacation supplies if needed here. A pulled pork Sandwich is $12 but they have pulled pork on the buffet with everything else for $12.99? Definitely go for the buffet

I went to Berlin Saturday and got the pizza at the colorful cookery, I think that is the name ,excellent pizza ,thank for the info.

satterfield, was the owner of the chalfonte hotel in cape may, a very good southern cooking in their dining hall, the burton family where the cooks, and delicious food. thanks for getting me hungry for breakfast.

I wish that I would have known about this restaurant when I was in Gatlinburg Tennessee last week. First thing I would have tried their coleslaw. If it wasn't any good, I would have taught them how to make some that would have made their tongue slap their brains out.

I love buffets and this looked pretty good at that price point. I tell you I'd 10x rather be over in this part of Gatlinburg that's quiet, than downtown that's always crazy. Arts and Crafts distract is so nice.

Not bad for $13. Golden Corral is about the same price for lunchtime. Have you tried the "Woodgrill" buffet near that area? They are part of the Western Sizzlin brand of restaurants....

We haven't been to the craft community in a while. I'm glad you let us know that was back there and food that doesn't break the bank. We haven't been eating a lot of the restaurants we used to enjoy with the prices getting so high.

I was really surprised that no other people were dining there at 6pm besides yourselves. That is such a neat place and the food looked wonderful. Very unusual to not see other people around except for the workers.
All the other shops close at five o'clock so I think that is why there are no other people around. 😎😎

I’m a huge fan of covered bridges so its nice to see that! Also I thought you had been there before such a nice little place. Buffet looked like a nice little home cooked meal. The nearly 12% tax stings a little but if it keeps Gatlinburg as well run as it appears it is worth it.
We have been in this area before. We ended a video from Split Rail Eats from here. I think in Tennessee. They don't pay state taxes, so that may be why their sells tax is so high.😎😎

Great price! Super cute place. Liked the small but interesting selection. Would be nice if they had pie or ice cream up there but still looked great for the price plus included beverage. Outdoor seating looked so peaceful. Love covered bridges too.

Really, really good price for that food.. worth it just for the pulled pork alone!! I think I'd pair it with the apples Bobbie had on her plate and that Apple BBQ sauce.

Have you been to the Sakura Japanese Buffet in Sevierville? Definitely worth a review if you haven't been there since they have a lot more food that I think you'd enjoy including sushi.

This buffet would be a good deal at $20, much less 12.99. Meatballs, shrimp, pot roast! I would miss Aunt Granny’s mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese, but I could make a meal just out of that chili, meatballs, potato salad (a favorite), baked beans, canned green beans, peaches and chocolate pudding! I half thought you might buy a jar of that apple bbq sauce on the way out lol.

Either way it’s inexpensive for the quality, my favorite bbq place in my town sells their bbq pulled pork with your choice of sauce on the side $16.99 a lbs if you wish to buy it by the pound and it’s like $12-$14 for a sandwich. So yeah $12 isn’t so bad.
That looks awesome. I can't believe there wasn't a crowd of people. When did y'all go ? Biggest question, where was the parking ? Was it free parking or a paid lot? Also would it all be accessible for someone on a walker ? I don't normally do Gatlinburg because of mobility issues.
It’s in the Arts and Craft community so parking is free. In the first part of video you see us drive into Parking lot that’s where you would park. At the end of video you see us walking and I show you where to walk through to restaurant. This was at 6 o’clock on a weekday. You could use the walker from car to restaurant because it’s pretty flat. Another restaurant there is Split Rail Eats that’s very good and we have video from it also. It closes early so call first.😎😎

This made me hungry. . I stayed in one of those condos before. Love the layout out there. But when we went it was on a Monday and it was a lot closed. My question are they open rest of week.
On their web page now, it says open nine until seven every day. 😎😎
