Went as a Leeds fan.The atmosphere-created by the Sunderland fans inthe first half was the best I have witnessed. The Newcastle fans were very quiet considering they won - my mate whose a Newcastle-fan said a lot of tickets were sold to corporates. Shame because a derby needs both fans to be up for it!
It was still enjoyable to see the unwashed down the road, being trodden on so emphatically. They may be a shit team but beating them is never boring. Even when they slide down to Sunday League pub football level. I hope we can still arrange derby games.
