I quit playing this game like few months ago. I have been playing this game for almost 2 years. I came to realize that it was already affecting my job performance. I work as a Nurse irl and in the game, I am an officer so I was told to be present during camp events (patrols, trap, arenas, clash etc). There were a lot of times where I am on my hospital duty that I had to lock myself in the comfort room just so I can do camp events. It literally ate up my time even while I am at work and I didn't realize the damage at that time as I was so into the game. I was never a gamer prior to this game. I had to download and play the game as I am greatly fascinated with zombies. The game changed so much. I have seen it infront of my eyes how the game has evolved and how it slowly turned into p2w. So, I quit playing the game around April 2021 coz unfortunately, some of my game "friends" were attacking me personally in Discord. But I didn't regret that I left the game. The commenter was right about it being like "a part-time job." Most especially, when you are expected to do camp events or else you'll be evicted from the camp. It'll consume most of your time as if you are abandoning your "reality." I felt so bad for all those hospital duties that I didn't take seriously as all I had in mind was camp events and as an officer, I had to participate no matter what. The day that I have decided to quit the game, I was a bit anxious what would be my life after or what's gonna happen now that I have lost the game. Never have I ever realized that there's more to life after I quit and my job and personal life has flourished even more. If only I didn't become an officer in the game. Somehow, that has spoiled the love I used to have for the game. Sorry if I shared a lot. Lol. I know it's quite long. Ty. 😊
I just quit the game and my reason is the same as you . And it's really laggy ngl not gonna comment about how bad the so called " customer service " really is
Yeah I can't deal with games that require grinding like a part time job, anymore. I'm not in middle school anymore and don't have 18 hours a day to dedicate.
no, you just have to daily map quest 10 minute per map (6 map bcs ff-swamp can auto clear), and 10-15 minute per AO (5 AO), after that you can fooling aroung with your friend in game
@@meong7661 if you play casually it not a problem. Not everyone can play at work. Me usually spend 12 hour a day (switching by free time+random event+random mystic). After work it took 3-5 hour. I play till server reset in few months before quit it because hell of quest. It 1+ year of hell grind to be top level player
@@meong7661 yes if you want play casually but for certain people's it necessary daily exp even a little if you plus per month it become lots of xp. Lots of my friends ain't ready for new weapons each update season because low level. It effect dmg and defend especially in Charlestown war
You can enjoy life after only if you just play for fun, exploring new things with friends or your soulmate. But if you had completionist and competitive tendency it's gonna be hell. There's always some guys who had no life to be on top of life after leaderboards.
The truth is, I had quit LA last week and went back to DotA which give me more "freetime". I'm hella competitive person but I just can't with LA strict schedule xD
He problems i had with this game 1. P2W fusion (Want M416? Nope, you get a furniture) 2. Drama (Like.. Come on bruh, kicked me out of the team becuz of what i did in the past) 3. "Lucky" draws/box doesnt actually give you good stuff 4. Storage (took like 10GB of my entire storage) 5. Lag
well said im still playing lifeafter 1 year and counting and this is the same result i get when fusing im manor 20 now and still needs grinding and it takes my half of day coz i played 3-6 accounts in the same server
I've realized long time ago that this game made us live inside of it. Just like real life in order to get reward or salary we need to do our job and continue our daily life. When it's time you put the character to sleep, just like taking a rest after a working too. I had to force myself to work everyday on this game, i know it's tiring but it's worthy 😌 (edit: english not my 1st languade hope you get ut :] )
So it's like The Sims Mobile for me. At first I played it on free time, but then I want the free stuff they offer in time-limited events so I put alarms for when my task is done, but then they cheated me out of a set of bedroom so I just stop playing because I don't like that my hard work resulted to nothing, like literally I still have 2 days to go and suddenly the event are gone when I'm on my last task.
For the benefit of English speakers, when he says "Neddies" he actually means Netease. Americans have had trouble with the letter T ever since they threw all their Ts into Boston Harbour.
Around like a half year ago, I came back to this game, and I instantly regret it. The game's main issues were still there. And while the game gave you more free rewards, the game also got more Pay 2 Win. And the worst thing is, it still felt like a job the first day I played it.
Hey Bud sad to hear ur review but apart from that i wanna play life after again nearly a year break I guess ... I probably gonna play in the 2nd week of May coz my exams are ahead 🙃 ..... So should I download the game again? am just asking if u had played it recently 🤔 If no then please recommend me a good Survival game around 1-8 GB storage BTW am from India 🇮🇳
@@youtubeisracistxno actually I was pay to win but I was still just doing average. The people who pay so much money just to become better than everybody else at the game is so stupid. And they are online so much, I decided to quit after only 6 months. I don't know why I started paying so much money for a gambling game.
It's good that you're honest, and it's better for you to focus on other games that you're good at. Your tips for other games like last day, grim soul and eve have really helped a lot. Looking forward to seeing you in code live or the city.
Back Then, LifeAfter was fun, until a lot of grinding and stuff came, including their microtransaction which allows people with 0 experience came out on top on Death High or Nancy City I once a part of a camp, called TiTan, with almost 90 player on there back then. Hell, i even on the top list when our best mayor "Frost" still plays so often. I took a break for about 5 months, then when i came back, my camp is a ruin. Frost left after he's getting busy with his work. My best friend MarcoSi left the game too, Mhaya, one of TiTan best fighter left for another camp not long after Frost leave. Now TiTan is Gone, Forever. My best camp just gone like that because i'm the only one left on that Camp I still enjoyed LifeAfter, played it at least 4 hours per day, but, seeing my friends left our camp one by one is just, makes me feels i have no reason to play this game anymore. A part of me still enjoys playing this game, but a part of my says that i don't have anyone. I joined a camp several days ago and left after a day in there. That Camp is on the top list, and have at least 2 occupy on the map. But they lack of coordination and feeling to help cuz a lot of high people cares about their own rank. One dude came and ask for a help, and the mayor just said "Try it by your own", like seriously? He's asking for a help and you just gonna brush him off like that? If it was on TiTan, that mayor will be downvoted and kicked by others I guess a past is in the past
I do miss the old days when i spent time with my mayor and my cohab until the camp died and all my friends left the game, i feel very sad even to this day that they left the game but the only reason im still playing is because im helping most beginners and new camps
@@Honored.Betray1 newer people will never know how hard it is to get on the top 3 on Death High back then. Newer people will also never understand that feeling when all LifeAfter server united to be the first server that open Levin City (My server is the first one to open the Gates of Levin City, and i even took part on Levin City Battle for the whole day, from 7.00 until 00.00) Now, it's just like a blank canvas. Nothing new, not a single thing that can make players excited, except collabs that literally uses microtransaction
I quit because it required too much commitment I was neglecting my real life. Plus what would camp members think of a member who isn't 'contributing'? That pressure I had is insane. Thats why I stopped. But yes it was a really good game back in the start and I thank it for the memories.
I played LA for 3 years, most of the time in a dominant clan. But over time it started dying, duties killed it, especially when they introduced the ocean duties. Also it changed from a survival game to a mix of Sims and Barbie and Ken.
So true, it's time consuming in awful way, I love the online and the friends part about it, but it really is addictive that it affected some ppls real life, The over-grinding is what killed it!
All of what you said is true. So true. This game is a massive grind, battery eater, storage hoger and you have to grind so much just for so little. This game made me exhausted and depressed. My brain is constantly on and couldn’t turn off. If they tone it down a bit it might’ve been a whole lot better. I quit this game a while ago and felt much much better.
Been a fat min since I've seen life after and it mind blows me everytime I come back fo this video. I read comments on here and I'm glad there are many others who feel the same way about the game. I pre registered the game when it was developing and I played until graduation which was early 2020. I realized the game was very time consuming, felt like a job, I dealt with different kinds of toxicity including players who were two sided. Other than that I also met some of the greatest people, friends that I would chat all day with. The experience really humbled me but overall this game was what I dreamed of playing as a kid, so when it came out it was the best thing ever. And I'm forever grateful for the memories I've made in this game, glad I was able to be apart of it.
This game had me in good mood in this lockdown and now j feel the addiction Because I'm getting real life works and the fact I'm in game for more than 10hrs isn't letting me do anything making me to quit soon enough
One of the most honest reason.. Good the hear.. Life must go on.. Changes are base theory for life move on... Thanks to you for exploring differeent perspectives of other sources.. Available.
It’s crazy how true this is, I’ve never realized it back then cause I just had school then I would grind like crazy there was just so much things to do everyday, what kept me going was the fact that you can do it with friends and camp I’m not gonna lie it was the best game I’ve ever played I got addicted to it real fast it was amazing but now that I’m grown up I realize that this game is like a part time job the amount of hours you would spent to get everything done, then doing the same every day only thing that kept it worth it were the friends and camp members recently I’ve downloaded the game again and let me tell you it’s worst then when you uploaded this there’s like double the things you have to do on a daily basis but the game is still really fun so all I do is just get on and have fun with some friends I do follow the survival manual book I do some things then stop and go and enjoy exploring the world with friends and do missions together, lifeafter will only feel like a part time job if you wanna be someone competitive like be in the leaderboards and all that which you don’t have too and me I’m a competitive person I love being out there but since I’m basically new to the game started on a new acc cause there’s a new server that way I can be around ppl my lvl and have fun there’s no point to over grind like we used to I just get on do some dailies then I go and explore and just enjoy the game since I don’t have anything to play atm I’ve pretty much played all types of games but got bored, then I remembered this game and said let me download it back to see what’s up the game isn’t dead but it’s not the same but it’s still fun, net ease is releasing a new game called once human so I’m just waiting for that to come out or if call of duty warzone Mobile comes out first, I would prefer once juman cause honestly after all the different types of games I’ve played lifeafter was the best for me i just love games like that so hopefully once human brings back that joy we once had when we started lifeafter hopefully they don’t make it like a part time job where you gotta do all those different stuff everyday, sorry for all this share lol seeing this just made me miss the old days
Honestly, I missed the game but reluctant to go back. The amount of bugs in the games just too much and it's pretty grindy for F2P. Like bruh, it's now 3.7 at app store simply because it lags and very buggy.
I thought you stopped playing this a long time ago, which was why I quit like over 6 months ago! I'm sooooo down to play with you again! I can't wait for massive 50+ people co-op zombie killing games
In any hobby, habit, vocation, or craving for entertainment - the 1st law ~ love what you do & do what you love. 2nd law? Immersion . . . in virtual life, in life virtually. "Lifeafter" lives!
I gained a whole NEW profound relationship with an old friend and all at the same time....LOST ah whole friend behind this game. Just as you stated in the video...the game became a full blown job, and im married sooo it went from long nights with my friends, cookouts ect....let's just say...in the end, I'm still happily married ☺
I remember playing this game back in 2018 and boy it was the best game for me on mobile. I invited my siblings to play the game.. and so they did.. it was fun, we decided to build a camp and we started recruiting rookies meet some new friends from different parts of SEA server. We had a lot of fun.. then i quit because i found a job then my siblings quit the game too after a year.. our friends on camp are still in contact with us up to this day.. some of them were married and had kids now. Still have our group photo on camp with me up to this day😄✨
Agree, I quit since the update game just focus on costume and costume. Even worse people using drone, bazooka, geranade launcher or other overpower weapon. the house renovation is no more than just like the Sims. I couldn't feel the survival essential anymore in this game. I couldn't feel scary for looting when faced those zombies.
Everyone who exactly quited life after has same reason Not too grindy, but Too much to do in the game with fast paced updates every weeks, events, dailies, routines, montly. We all have life irl not in life after. I am ignoring my family straight 3 month just to be fanatics and keeping up with this game. I was broke, almost divorced, yet my camp reach top tier camp back then. Is it worth the experiences ? Yes ingame, but not for my real life
@@alexlionhart6978 absolutely true,it take 6-9 of my daily time to complete 100%,yeah people's can skip it but im playing to compete other player especially Charlestown war. 1+ year of grind, quit after st rona update. Just now they apply the auto complete in SH and MS after half year people asking for it
Agree on this one. The one problem that this game really cracked is when they release formula upgrade on weapon and armor. After that so many cash grabs this game became PTW not FTP
Yeah i became fed up also Everyday you have to do the same thing over and over again It became a routine When i first started playing lifeafter, i was like "i want to play lifeafter" And now i'm like "i have/must play" Because if i dont continue to play, i will lose all the time i invested in this game
Your 111 tips hve help lots of vteran. Tqsm bro. True this game is like part time job, dev always troll player. The lag still doesnt fix. No matter how much u fund the game, they just dont listen. But still i love this game. Try to play other games, still cant beat lifeafter. Wish dawn awakening will become btter version than lifeafter.
My combat is at level 71 now and not a penny spent from the start. It's true that dedication is required. Get yourself a decent camp and you'd never wanted to p2w ever.
"I stoped to play LifeAfter because..." "I started to play Eve Echoes because..." But at the end is not same company ? 😂 Already Eve Echoes is grindy like was LifeAfter in first months, little grind here and there, no harm to anyone, till becomes a pain to everyone just to keep up. I respect your work but lets be honest: Eve Echoes is from same company and not so far from LifeAfter negative experience that has provided at the end. LifeAfter: p2w , game size, losing diff things in game if your raided or killed etc. Eve Echoes: hold my beer.
@@NoovGuyMC must to understand the diff between grinding non-stop (lets say equipment health/durability) just to have a chance to play and have fun (free2play "doctrine") or a full time job without income from game but you outcome with time spend in game grinding. People must to understand that Time never returns and "me"(any) being online and grinding hours and hours for maybe only 1 stuff is a Big Plus for game dev&co because give good impression in statistics about "online players"... Sometimes i try to be stupid (myself), but something dont allow me to do so 😂
@@NoovGuyMC guns, armour, drone (and maybe etc dont know whats new now) has a durability who gets lower when you use it (to have fun, lets say free2play). Idea seems to be that you are grinding a lot of your time being online to manufacture that equipment but you have less free time (free2play) to use it and have fun with it and this is how your forced to grind again and again for more and more time till you lose the pleasure to play that game at the end (any game like this one with same mechaniks). After you have spend months or years on that game, you are somehow "bl@ckmailed": you quit game and forgot about the hard work and time invested or youl keep going to accept to be a slave of the game (how mechaniks has softly changed till is too much for a player). And at the end: games like this dont allow legal sales of accounts to recover your investment. Interesting, right ? 😂
Been playing it for nearly 7-8 months straight, and I am slowly quitting the game after they release the big explorable map in which you can already ride you motorcycle. So my last enjoyable moments were like during the volcano update, the appearance of those fire lava hulk zombies that hits you hard😂 This game have a place in my heart, it's really one of the best games I have ever played, the fun that I experienced in this game is different, I will never forget it. But I its time to depart from this game. Farewell lifeafter. - Kashi from SEA server, LevinCity.
hey guys, been awhile, theres this new game called Undawn which is super similar to lifeafter but much better I guess. I got to play the closed beta, I love it so far. Just waiting for their official release.
Dawn of awakening(code:live) probably gonna be released till next years Glad that im quiting LA a years ago...to much p2w stuff, never ending lags, too much daily routines to do, and now..the game it self become "the sims" xD Also, fly safe commrade o7
I literally JUST found out about this game and saw that there’s an attack on Titan crossover and I think that’s what’s getting me into but seeing this video now is crazyyy😭 I doubt I’d want to spend my time playing the game nonstop but I really do like what I’ve seen so far especially the insaneee character customization!
JCF - re: 02:20 - 'Code Live,' 'The City,' and 'Eve Echoes' all sound like interesting games under development. True that 'LifeAfter' has almost too much to do to keep up, but one reason someone might stop playing, not mentioned here, is some intense lag. There's a reason one of the nicknames for this game is 'LagAfter.' Otherwise beautiful graphics and always something to do - yes, that is fair to say, too.
It's the Best Game if you are a Pay2Win player. I had played it for 2.5 months with reaching combat level 68. And had daily completed all area missions, mystic creature, weekly missions. But still didn't get a level 1 muzzle or knob. And I have seen Players who spend real money had better luck in getting Good stuff in fuse and getting muzzles or knobs.
Yup so true, they tied me in abit more with the video star title, which is cool to be reconsied for my hard work for playing almost mutiple years, but its rough on youtubers and the time will come eventually when the youtubers still tryin have to move on, its possible for me it will be the next #Preyday survival where i love the game but must force myself to move on. If jcf did do content we do need his incite on the new attacment systerm and so much more but 100% respect his decsion.
I stopped playing this when I finally realized its not a zombie survival game but basically virtual tiktok chat lobby with focus on k-pop inspired fashion skins.
I'll still be playing it, because I enjoy the hell out of it. Everyone else in the comments saying they hate the game but I am still enjoying it, even after playing for over half a year
Really love to check out Eve echoes soo imma try to learn as much...anyways it's good that you're following ur own path man. Don't push too hard and go w what you Love. Anyways best of luck to ur channel
i was so hype when this game came out but I have never had a chance to try itself for myself because back then I cannot afford a better phone that can run this.
Im glad im not the only one who actually felt this way. The game is eating way too much of time to keep up with it. I stopped playing since 2021 and my cohab couldn’t really realized why i started loosing interest in the game. It was sad he cohab others and was a pain in neck😅 but I understand his need for it. LiFeafter want u to spend either ur time if not money or both which are both so precious… i rather use these resources upgrading myself irl than in game which will basically fade after sometime especially more better and newer games are released faster.
Yup it does feel like a part time job lmao I started playing in June and sometimes it gets repetitive and harder to upgrade your manor level and abilities. I feel like I might stop playing as frequent as I do now pretty soon, sucks but it’s expensive to keep up with this game
I know... it takes up a lot of your time. It’s exhausting and depressing for me. I have this constant sadness while playing it. Like at first it was fun. And it starts to feel more and mow like a part time job cuz of the massive grind. Not to mention since this game is open world and all, it takes up more and more storage whenever it updates. Exhaustion to the maximum. 😔
I have just deleted it. I have been playing this game for months, and it is very difficult to get Formula in return. The Formula machine only gives furniture.
I can understand bro I was the top10 in santopany server in beginning and become the worst 10 player of that server after 2 months😂 I loved this game but hard to continue after a long break
Thank god I lost my acc and I was struggling to get it back but eventually I gave up and now I don’t rlly care about it anymore cuz of many reasons in the video
this game is suck for those who are pure f2p, i quit since this game every day more intense grind, camp event, patrol, invasion, bc, mc, daily, operation like it's part of my life, when you're not active a day it feels like you're missing out on a lot of things, Competitiveness in this game is very impossible. For sure u can't even match real p2w, even the time you spend all day does not feel like it will be enough to be able to match them, since updates to some op formulas can only be obtained for those who are gacha. I played long enough before levin's server appeared, comeback after chaoscity and started from scratch. meet many new people and make friends, compete about abilities and levels, i miss all this part. Everything just looks different, as it's time to leave this game even though it's hard when u are addicted. But it's worth it if you don't want to lose ur time...I will miss Lifeafter but i dont want to comeback just to suffer :v also thankyou camp Java, Stealth, Dejavu I've been on adventures to various camps and met good people. (sorry I just vented because it's been a long time since I stopped playing) My english is still suck.
It’s funny because this is the first video Ive seen of you. I always see you on AFK ARENA ADDS🤣🤣 But the fact you’ve played life after and I missed out😩. I’m subscribing💯🙏🏾
What's interesting is that LifeAfter has just announced that it is overhauling the entire game and has spent a year developing the new version. They are changing some of the gameplay and creating one giant map, instead of several smaller maps. It's supposed to release in November 2020. Based on the limited information we have, it sounds like they are trying to keep up with Code Live / Dawn Awakening that is coming out.
Just do IT like me and my campmates .Log in at 7-8 to do camp patrol, and complete the assistance quest. It won't take more than 2 hours to play for fun
All these types of games do this to us players. Play the game don’t let the game play you. Just because the game demands that we play 100 quests a day doesn’t mean we have to obey. I know I will get around to it. This way I keep my sanity and the game.
EVE echoes is indeed good. But if you wanna experience the real world of EVE, try playing EVE Online on PC. It's free, requires normal system and has a giant community since 2003!! Imagine a battle of 4000 players at a same system. Though the PC version is a lot more complex and not newbie friendly, but if you like EVE Echoes, you will love EVE Online!
as a life after player used to play this 2 years ago was good but soon they haven't realized that developers if they contuined putting massive GB uptade *I bet it on the players will be complaining about this in then the game will be less famous or probobly dead in then they be forced to decreased the storage* note to those who have read this:don't waste ur time playing to much video games have a limit in ur life fun fact:evry year or evry 5 months they uptade this game with massive amount of MB basicly if u want to play games like these get a god damm PC in some extra RTX to run these things or buy the most expensive phone you can find with the biggest storage ever exit
Even though the game never gave me the event guns ( howitzer, flamethrower... ) and im not a P2W player, im mad at the game but i knew there are a lot of crazy things in the future to do i still play the game. Its ur opinion
I will miss LifeAfter. *Thank you to all of you who made it such a great game!* I will cherish those memories forever.

1. P2W fusion (Want M416? Nope, you get a furniture)
2. Drama (Like.. Come on bruh, kicked me out of the team becuz of what i did in the past)
3. "Lucky" draws/box doesnt actually give you good stuff
4. Storage (took like 10GB of my entire storage)
5. Lag

I delete this game. I didn't play this game for even 1 day! Its so nervous game
I've realized long time ago that this game made us live inside of it. Just like real life in order to get reward or salary we need to do our job and continue our daily life. When it's time you put the character to sleep, just like taking a rest after a working too.
I had to force myself to work everyday on this game, i know it's tiring but it's worthy 😌

Lol, that was actually pretty clever. I got a good chuckle. Lol history jokes.
Lmfao. I’m an immigrant from Trinidad, and yeah, it was weird that the T’s are pronounced as D’s. Americans have a D problem 😂
So should I download the game again? am just asking if u had played it recently 🤔 If no then please recommend me a good Survival game around 1-8 GB storage

What do u mean by pay to win bro?
most p2w games dont require to pay lol
@@youtubeisracistxno actually I was pay to win but I was still just doing average. The people who pay so much money just to become better than everybody else at the game is so stupid. And they are online so much, I decided to quit after only 6 months. I don't know why I started paying so much money for a gambling game.
It's good that you're honest, and it's better for you to focus on other games that you're good at. Your tips for other games like last day, grim soul and eve have really helped a lot. Looking forward to seeing you in code live or the city.
Back Then, LifeAfter was fun, until a lot of grinding and stuff came, including their microtransaction which allows people with 0 experience came out on top on Death High or Nancy City
I once a part of a camp, called TiTan, with almost 90 player on there back then. My best camp just gone like that because i'm the only one left on that Camp
I still enjoyed LifeAfter, played it at least 4 hours per day, but, seeing my friends left our camp one by one is just, makes me feels i have no reason to play this game anymore.
If it was on TiTan, that mayor will be downvoted and kicked by others
I guess a past is in the past
I feel the same bro....its sad.....old days sure are the best..
So true, it's time consuming in awful way, I love the online and the friends part about it, but it really is addictive that it affected some ppls real life,
The over-grinding is what killed it!

Being in JCF Camp is my best time playing Life After. Thanks for all those good time 🙏
You are right it feels like a part time job lol, you introduced me to the game btw :) i still play it but not as intense as i used to
Honestly, I missed the game but reluctant to go back.
The amount of bugs in the games just too much and it's pretty grindy for F2P. Like bruh, it's now 3.7 at app store simply because it lags and very buggy.
I thought you stopped playing this a long time ago, which was why I quit like over 6 months ago!

Still have our group photo on camp with me up to this day😄✨
Good for you... The game has changed a lot
Don't forget that it the game lags every update, cause you know they're updating the lag not the gameplay itself.
Or they updating the game and not fixing the lag you mean?
Agree, I quit since the update game just focus on costume and costume. Even worse people using drone, bazooka, geranade launcher or other overpower weapon. the house renovation is no more than just like the Sims. I couldn't feel the survival essential anymore in this game. I couldn't feel scary for looting when faced those zombies.

Too much to do in the game with fast paced updates every weeks, events, dailies, routines, montly. We all have life irl not in life after. Must've said "non-stop grinding"

Eve Echoes is an absolute mess, don't even bother with it, I have seen it's rise and fall.
I got LifeAfter ad before this video starts. Ironic.
In other word "stop playing Lifeafter and come follow me play Eve Echoes, no debate"

this game is suck for those who are pure f2p, i quit since this game every day more intense grind, camp event, patrol, invasion, bc, mc, daily, operation like it's part of my life, when you're not active a day it feels like you're missing out on a lot of things, Competitiveness in this game is very impossible.
