    Hey Mark, great tip on the wood that has been used in someone else tank. I also bleach it after moving freshwater limpets into my new tank. Glad that food became useful for you.

    I have a 20l aquarium with a 3l external breeding box.
    Misses won’t let me get a bigger tank.
    Any ideas of how I can make the size work better for breeding and stability? ( I know 40l is recommended)
    - more water changes?
    - oxydator?

    • @MarksShrimpTanks
      @MarksShrimpTanks  4 місяці тому +2

      There isnt an easy answer foir this or we would all do it, space is the one thing that will more or less gaurantee your shrimp will breed more, I dont even do water changes anymore I just top up, you could try that and see what happens? If you try it this way you have to stop feeding powdered foods and watch yout feeding like a hawk.

      @@MarksShrimpTanks less water changes is better for breeding if I feed really minimally?

    • @MarksShrimpTanks
      @MarksShrimpTanks  4 місяці тому +3

      yes, less feeding means cleaner water and should mean more baby shrimp survival.

      Mark I tried an extensive watercress experiment already. Watercress is great my turtles and myself love it. It doesn't foul turtle water half as much as other plants I tried with them. While it can grow in a fish/shrimp tank when the leaves rot they give off nasty rank enzymes or something. Best avoided IMHO. I bought a bag of watercress from supermarket put in clean tank expected it to grow. Ended up with tank of little flies and various beesties. It said washed ready to eat on the label too

    Hello Mark. Maybe intrusive, but our last dialogue was cut off, so let me ask you again, if you could, to turn on Polish subtitles in your films. I'm watching all your videos and it would make it much easier for me to understand them (I leave a thumbs up for all of them :-) ). If this is not possible, please write to me, then I will not return to this topic. Thank you very much and regards

      Mark, you recently wrote to me that you found in the settings the option to enable translation for various languages, including Polish. All you need to do is turn it on and select Polish. It's not you who writes in Polish, YT translates. You just need to mark it appropriately in YT settings. Please try. I will be very grateful.

      @@MarksShrimpTanks it sounds bizzare but makes sense, if they aren't trying to sprout they aren't using up any nutrients or growing roots into each other so you can store them longer without effecting quality, and all you lose is the ability for people to grow it themselves and stop buying your produce
