France I totally understand what your saying when you do something and don’t like it and then change it up. In the crafting world we say there are no mistakes just happy ones. I change things up a lot. And yes the bright colors are different path for you. No matter what you do in the art journal I always like it when it’s done.

It was actually quite an eye opener to do the challenge and actually go back to my basics: I realized just how much I love my earthy tones and blues now! Never thought I would become a 'blue' girl, but it seems it did! And you know what? I love it. I love that evolution considering what those colors mean. I really am in touch with my current situation in life, just like I was when purple, green, orange were my go to's.

HI France, gorgeous layout, and you've inspired me to have a go at this challenge, such a cool idea. I used to love that colour combo too, so much so that I once painted the hallway of our house in those colours and when my family returned home ... well let's say they did not love it as much as I did!! Still love those colours together but yes maybe toned down a bit these days :)
